Chapter 4 - chapter 3 I think the way is clear now { Extended Version }

Upon entering the temple, I was greeted by an empty space, which made walking through it quite easy. The temple itself was a sight to behold, with its magnificent design and beautiful white fountains. In the center of the fountains stood lion sculptures, from whose mouths water flowed gracefully. The temple's architecture featured intricate golden curves and patterns that added to its allure.

As I ventured towards the back of the temple, memories from a past life began to resurface. Slowly, I made my way to the designated area and discovered a large round stone with inscriptions on it. I couldn't help but think, "This must be the stone I've been searching for."

Standing beside it, I uttered some words aloud, "I don't want anyone in this world." Suddenly, the stone vanished, replaced by a bright spot of light that entered my chest. In that moment, a warm sensation spread throughout my body. This light carried the will of a sword saint, originally intended for someone else, a villain. However, I had managed to acquire it before the third-class villain did.

The sword saint had been renowned in his time, fighting villains for many years. Unfortunately, he lost an arm during a battle, rendering him useless to the hero society. Forced into retirement, he had planned to go on a vacation, but his family fell victim to a heinous plot orchestrated by the very villains he had fought against. Weakened and unable to intervene, he sought help from the Heroes Association, only to be turned away. It was then that he developed a deep hatred for the world, leaving behind his will in the hope that someone would avenge his family.

However, fate had allowed the will to fall into the hands of a third-class villain. Determined to be more deserving than such a villain, I made a vow to utilize this power for good. With my newfound purpose, I began making my way towards the exit. But suddenly, an intense pain surged through my brain, causing me to collapse. My head struck the wall, and darkness enveloped me as I lost consciousness.

While unconscious, I began to recall memories that didn't belong to me. It became apparent that these memories belonged to a person named Arjun, into whose body I had transmigrated. Arjun hailed from a rural background, his family running a small potion shop in an underdeveloped town. From a young age, he idolized heroes he saw on television and dreamt of becoming one himself. Despite the financial constraints his family faced, they discovered Arjun's talent for swordsmanship when a survey identified him as a potential candidate for the Hero Academy.

To support his dream, Arjun's parents went to great lengths, purchasing expensive equipment and taking loans to cover his academy fees. Although Arjun's admission test results were disappointing, ranking him at 9,978 out of 10,000, his parents remained supportive and encouraged him. Fueled by their belief in him, Arjun embarked on a journey to become successful and provide a better life for his parents. That was until my transmigration occurred, altering his path.

As I woke up in a small room, my eyes gazed upon the ceiling. Confusion set in, and I questioned my location out loud. Suddenly, a voice responded, "Ah, you're awake." I turned to see a blond woman beside me.

She explained that she had found me unconscious in the temple and had taken me there for safety. Curiosity piqued, I inquired about her identity. With a smile, she revealed herself as a nun working at the temple. Expressing gratitude for her help, I got up from the chair.

Curiosity seemed to be mutual, as she noticed my questioning gaze and offered an explanation. "I found no blood on your head, so I assume you fainted after slipping and hitting the wall."

Relieved, I replied, "Yes, that's exactly what happened. Thank you for taking care of me. Could you please tell me how much time has passed since I fainted?"

Her response caught me off guard. "You were unconscious for ten hours."

My eyes widened in disbelief. "Ten hours? Wait, what time is it now?"

"It's currently 7:00... Oh, what happened?"

A wave of panic washed over me as I realized the implications. "I'M LATE FOR MY FIRST DAY AT THE ACADEMY!"

Startled, I shouted and dashed towards the academy, leaving the surprised nun behind. I couldn't bear the shame of being late, so I tapped into my newly acquired power to run faster than ever before. The speed I achieved seemed impossible on Earth.

After a mere thirty minutes of sprinting, I arrived at the academy, but I was still late. Glancing at the digital board displaying class details, I hurriedly made my way to the designated classroom. As I opened the door, I heard another voice echoing my apology, "Sorry, I'm late!"

Confusion washed over me as I saw the person who was also tardy. We locked eyes briefly, and I felt a sense of fear, knowing exactly who he was—Ron Vista, the very person who had arrived late like me.

Ron spoke up on my behalf, addressing the professor, "Sorry, Professor, something unexpected happened, and that's why I'm late."

The professor's response but I was surprised and in daze. "Since today is the first day, I'll let it slide this time."

I was taken aback and felt a mixture of shock and confusion. How could I have forgotten that Ron was also late on the first day? I didn't want Ron to discover my true identity, so I tried my best to keep a low profile.

"Arjun, go to your seat," the professor instructed, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Huh... Okay, Professor," I muttered, making my way to my designated seat. The first day at the academy had turned out to be quite eventful, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease about what awaited me.
