It is dark inside and just lit by a flickering yellow chandelier. Caden's hands start trembling and he keeps pulling Bradley out of that place, but Bradley ignores him and keeps walking.
"Hey, do you see Markus?" asked Bradley stopping his feet and looking around. "I don't see him at all."
"Me either, maybe Markus has already left because this place is dark." Caden continued to persuade Bradley to come outside.
"Hah, nice try." Bradley rolled his eyes and continues to walk. " You are such a coward, Cad."
Caden sighs and they continue walking until they suddenly enter a room.
"Brad, look at that." Caden moved his fingers and saw some strange paintings stuck to the wall with bloodstains. "It's just a picture and there's nothing here, right?"
"Damn, I'm going to have a nightmare." Caden shook his head looking at every painting there that looked so real. "Ah, damn I hate this place."
Suddenly one of the paintings seems about to fall and a person wearing a hideous mask appears instantly, making Bradley and Caden scream quite loudly like children.
They shout in unison and then Caden immediately hugs Bradley tightly. " Damn it, get it off me."
Bradley and Caden's bodies are instantly rigid, their legs felt weak, and cold sweat is pouring down their cheeks until they lost their words.
But it isn't long before the sound of laughter is loud enough to sound like someone they know, so they immediately open their eyes.
"Markus, that's not funny!" Caden furrowed his brows and immediately let go of Bradley's hug. "You almost drive us crazy!"
"I'm sorry, but your face looks ridiculous." Markus continued to laugh until his face began to turn red like a tomato.
"Ah, whatever you say," Caden said in a snappish tone. "Come on, we should get out of here."
Just as they are about to walk, the lights in the room suddenly go out and make everything look much darker, but fortunately, there are emergency lights that come on not long after.
"Markus, stop playing around." Bradley sighed trying to contain his anger. "This must be you, right?" He looked at Markus with a sharp glare.
"Hey, this blackout isn't part of my plan." Markus frantically shook his head. "Damn, someone must be playing tricks on us," he said while stroking his chin.
"Wait, what do you mean Markus?" Caden furrowed his brows.
Not long after a strange sound like a snake ringing loudly in their ears causes everyone to remain silent. Markus slowly takes out the small flashlight in his pocket and points it toward the source of the sound.
"Oh, my God!" Markus screams in panic when he sees a black creature with strange tentacles behind Caden and Bradley. "We have to get out of here!"
A pair of fiery red eyes stare at the three of them sharply and instantly make them quickly run until they finally see the door to the outside of the ride.
"Cad, hurry up!" Bradley who is already in front of the door keeps calling Caden a couple of meters behind him.
"Come on, that thing is getting closer." Markus, who was beside Bradley, kept shaking his head and reaching out his hand. "Caden, come on."
Unfortunately, the creature's tentacles manage to grab Caden's legs, causing him to fall.
"Caden!" Bradley immediately grabbed a sharp object that was nearby and immediately stuck it into the creature's tentacles and immediately helped Caden. 'We have to get out of here!"
They quickly go through the door to the outside and block the door using the remaining wooden beams lying on the ground.
"Holy Sh**! What is that thing?" asked Caden with a tense face. "I've never seen a creature with so many weird tentacles."
"I can't see it clearly, but it's probably a night catcher." Markus wiped the sweat from his forehead. "But, how is that possible?" Markus sat on the ground with a blank stare. "I don't think it can be here."
Bradley, who heard Mark's words immediately realizes Markus is also a watcher. He initially wants to ask about Mirland's deep future, but he needs the right moment to ask him directly.
"Wait, night catcher?" Caden furrowed his fairly thick eyebrows. "What nonsense are you talking about?" he said in a mocking tone.
"Whether you want to believe it or not is up to you, but now we have to tell my mom and dad about this."
The three of them rush back to the resort and immediately meet Markus' parents in the lobby. The sound of their footsteps is so loud that Markus' parents realized their presence.
"Markus?" Isabella was surprised to see her son running with a tense face. "Why are you still hanging around at this hour?"She folded her arms.
"Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you," Markus said breathlessly. "It's important."
"At least you give a good enough reason that we will not punish you." George's jaw looked very stiff and was followed by a cynical look at his son.
Markus tells every detail of his experience and the shape of the creature at a glance, but George and Isabella stare and laugh hear that.
"I'm not lying. I'm pretty sure it is a night catcher." Caden tried to convince his parents.
"Mark, that night catcher doesn't exist," George said in a mocking tone and occasionally glanced over to see Caden and Bradley. "It's just all your imagination." He continued to laugh until he shed a few tears.
"Dad, but ...."
"Okay, let's back to your room."Isabella pulled Markus' ear and took him back to his room. "You're fantasizing too much."
"Sorry for the mess." George scratched his head and smiled. "You two should hurry to your rooms before Madam Nigera and Theresa look for you."
They nod and quicken their footsteps toward their rooms, but in front of them is the silhouette of someone standing tall as if waiting for them.
"Brad, who is it?" Caden asked in a stammering voice.
"I don't know either, but I hope it's not some freak chasing us."
The figure walks up to them making both of them stop for a moment then slowly the figure begins to reveal her face.
"Oh, sh**!" Bradley shook his head.
