The man furrows his brow, looking at Bradley's pale face and asking why the two of them are here.
"Uh, Mr. George sent us here to check what's causing the constant flashing," Bradley spoke in a stammering voice.
The frown on the man's face slowly disappears when he hears Mr. George's name mentioned. "Oh, yes there is a slight problem with the engine transformer." He sighed and wiped the sweat from his forehead. "But, everything is under control now."
"Thanks, Godness." Caden sighed in relief. "Sir, I feel like this belongs to you." He handed the flashlight to the man. "We found it around here."
"Wait, it's not my flashlight but my partner's." The man furrowed his brow again. "Do you see him?"
Bradley and Caden look at each other and simultaneously shake their heads as they too don't see anyone else except him.
"Strange, maybe something has happened to him." The man walked quickly to the transformer area a few meters away from their position and then immediately opened the lock. "He should be around here somewhere." The man stepped inside while pointing his flashlight forward to look around.
They both decide to follow the man who walks right in front of them. As they walk, Bradley sees several boxes containing engine transformers, cables, and some stickers with high-voltage warning signs on them.
It soon gets so quiet in the area which makes the atmosphere all the more chilling. Then suddenly they hear something scream not far from their position.
"Brad, let's wait outside." Caden stopped his movement and pulled Bradley's hand repeatedly. "Dammit, this place scares me."
"Hey, it's scarier out there and there's no one there." Bradley continued to walk after the man who was a few steps ahead of him. "At least here we can follow this guy, right?"
However, Caden continuously tries to convince Bradley to get out of this place until they stop walking and start arguing, causing the man in front of him to turn his head toward them.
"Hey, what are you guys doing?" A man shouted, making Bradley and Caden speechless. "You don't want to freeze to death, do you?" He pointed the flashlight at Caden and Bradley's faces. "Ah, kids."
They keep walking until they see a red stain on the ground, so the man walks over to the stain and smells it which turns out to be blood.
"Damn, I feel like there's something here." The man took out what weapon from his pocket. "All of you stay here and don't move!"
"Wait, what do you mean?" Bradley's face instantly stiffened at the man's shout.
A few minutes later another strange sound emerges and the man slowly walks over as he points the muzzle of the gun forward.
"I said, stay here and don't move." The man walked forward and followed the sound.
A few minutes passed, but the man doesn't return yet and the atmosphere instantly goes so quiet until they can hear the wind singing in their ears along with the raindrops gradually multiplying.
"Gosh, what took that guy so long?" Caden grumbled and sneezed occasionally. "It's getting cold in here, Brad."
"Yeah, I feel the same way. "Bradley rubbed his palm continuously. "But we have to wait for him, right?"
Caden rolls his eyes as if not believing Bradley's words and after a few minutes of waiting, something is thrown at him.
"Oh, my God!" Caden shouted as he saw the man's severed hand lying on the ground with a fresh scent of blood. "We need to get out of this place, now!"
The creature slowly stepped out of the darkness and revealed itself to be the Night Catcher, making Caden's face instantly tense up and knocking him unconscious.
"Cad, hey wake up!" Bradley threw a hard punch at Caden's face but he was unconscious. "Ah, Sh**!"
Bradley wraps his arms around Caden and quickly accelerates his footsteps leaving the creature until he finally reaches the door to the outside of here.
"Hey, Cad! Wake up!" Bradley kept patting Caden's face and repeatedly embracing Bradley. "Come on man, we gotta get out of here."
The voice of the night catcher approaches them with a red gaze moving to follow Bradley and Caden's steps.
"Ah, sh**!" Bradley looked in all directions but there was nowhere close enough to his position to hide.
Bradley initially plans to run to the roller coaster, but it's quite a distance from his position and they can't get there under those conditions. The creature's movements are fast enough so the closest place from their position to hide is now. new rides, the mirror house.
"Hang on, buddy."
Bradley fasten his movement and enters the mirror house while looking back, hoping that the night catcher would not chase him.
Once inside, Bradley quickly looks for a place to hide but it turns out to be a dead end and there is no place to hide.
"Dammit! Where should we go now?"
The night catcher's voice sounds louder and louder in his ears. Caden starts trembling as cold sweat pours out relentlessly and he walks backward until his body touches the surface of the wall. However, after a few minutes, the wall moves, and suddenly they have entered a room filled with glass in every inch of the room.
"Geez, I hope it will not find us here ."
Bradley looks at the night catcher from a small hole in the mirror room and spots the night catcher roaming around the room, looking for the two of them. He quickly holds his breath and tries not to make a scene.
"Brad, what-"
Bradley quickly covers Caden's mouth before he can speak.
"Cad, don't talk and be quiet," Bradley spoke in a very small voice. "That thing is right beside us."
Caden simply nods and it isn't long before the creature's voice finally vanishes.
"Man, I just thought we are going to die." Bradley wiped the sweat from his forehead. "That's a relief."
"Yeah, my hands are getting cold, Brad." Caden slowly revealed his still trembling hands. "But wait, what is that thing?"
Bradley lets out a long breath and tightly squeezes Caden's shoulders. "They're night catchers and they will come to find us."
