Bradley then asks Caden about the figure in the photo, but Caden quickly shrugs his shoulders as he doesn't know who the owner of the photo is either.
"Weird, I should probably keep this picture." Bradley put the photo in his pants pocket. "Maybe the owner of this photo will look for it."
A few minutes later, they finally finish cleaning the room and move on to the next place.
"Brad, what are you doing?" Caden turns around and sees Bradley's head down. "Are you sick?"
"Cad, I need some rest for a while," Bradley said weakly as he continued to hold his head. "I don't know, my head suddenly spinning."
"Well, I believe it is because you don't get enough sleep, right?" Caden said as he raised his eyebrow. "You must stay up late, don't you?"
"How do you know, that?" Bradley widened his eyes. "Yeah, your guess is true. But only a few chapters left and it's so ashamed if I don't finish it."
"Brad, you are a real reader maniac." Caden only shakes his head. " I feel like you look so much like Mr. Eugene."
"Do you think so?" Bradley raises his eyebrows. "You should read his book. It's so entertaining, Cad."
"Maybe, I will read that book, but first, you need water."
Caden walks away leaving Bradley alone then a few minutes later, he comes with a glass of water in his hand. He gives it to Bradley and begins to feel fine. His head doesn't feel dizzy right now, and his tremors started to subside.
They continue walking and finally arrive in front of the restroom and open the cupboard near the toilet door then take out a few items such as a rubber mop, floor brush, and some rag.
"Okay enough for the chit-chat. Now we have to clean this place." Caden raised his sleeves. "Brad, come on, cheer up!" Caden claps his hand. "We can do this!"
They start cleaning the floor in the bathroom. Caden splashes the floor and Bradley takes the floor cleaner, he gently scrubbed the floor until the dirt on the floor slowly peeled off. Bradley then takes a toilet brush and starts rubbing the toilet hole's surface. They do all the work with ease.
"Cad, look at this." Bradley began to imitate Madam Theresa's speech with the same enduring expression on his face.
"Geez, you're such a good imitator." Caden laughed so loudly. "Hey, but we should be careful. What if Madam Theresa sees us?"
Caden's eyes glance left and right like a camera because he wants to make sure no one sees Bradley's crazy behavior.
"Cad, relax. Don't be too tense." Bradley walks over to Caden. " At least enjoy it."
"Huh? What do you mean?" Caden furrowed his brows at Bradley's words.
Bradley quickly splashes water on Caden's face and his eyes are instantly wide. At first, his face looks tense at Bradley's actions, but a few minutes later Caden smiles and pays back Bradley by sprinkling the same water on Caden's face.
They are shouting so loudly like children playing in a playground. However, someone's footsteps enter the restroom, and Caden who hears it stops for a moment. He attempts to warn Bradley, but he ignores Caden's words and continues to run without paying attention to anything in front of him.
"Caden, you must-"
Bradley's body suddenly bumps into someone in front of him which turns out to be Madam Nigera, Madam Theresa's right-hand man.
"Gosh, I'm sorry." Bradley's eyes are wide at the sight of the slightly fat woman. "I do not mean to …."
"Hey, what are you guys doing here?" She tried to get up from her position. "You guys should be cleaning this place, this isn't a playground!" Madam Nigera pulled Bradley's hand by force. "You two come with me, now!"
"Gosh, but we just-"
Nigera leads both of them to the living room then she released her grip, and takes something out from her pocket.
"This is the key." Madam Nigera gave it to Bradley. "Get me the brown book inside there."
"Hey, you're not Madam Theresa." Bradley quickly replied to Madam Nigera' words and threw back the key. "You have no order for two of us!"
"Oh, so now you dare to resist me!" Madam Nigera pulled Bradley's ear until he whimpers sadly. "I will report this incident in the restroom. How about that?"
"Argh, dammit!" Bradley grunted with an annoyed tone.
"It's okay if you don't want to. But, Madam Theresa will be furious if she finds out." Madam Nigera spins the key in her hand. "So, what's your decision now?"
"Brad, we should follow her will." Caden tried to calm and convinces Bradley to take the offer. "All right, we'll look for the book for you."
"Good, I like your attitude." Madam Nigera throws the key to Caden. "Oh, and don't forget to bring this." She gives a flashlight to Caden. "We don't know down there, right?"
Madam Nigera smiles and walks away saying no words. Bradley and Caden walk downstairs with a tense face. The atmosphere downstairs is very quiet and there is no lighting at all, so Caden turns on the flashlight, and if front of them there is a dark brown door ahead. However, they must pass the wooden planks first to get there.
"Cad, this place just looks spooky." Bradley's eyes are looking around while slowly walking across the frail-looking wooden planks. "This place fills with cobwebs and Madam Theresa never told us to clean this place too."
"Yes, Brad. I also feel the same." Caden pointed his flashlight forward and slowly walked until he reached the door. "Okay, now let's open the door." Caden then takes out a black key with a five-petal flower pattern and opened the door. "Brad over here."
Caden points the flashlight forward, yet it's not enough just to use it because it's too dark inside.
"I believe there must be a light switch around here." Bradley's hand slowly touched the surface of the wall, looking for the light switch and a few seconds later, he finally found it "Aha, I get it."
A yellow light suddenly lights up the place. However, the lamp has not been used for a long time and It dims itself several times.
"Cad, we better find that book immediately. This place is so scary." Bradley saw the room cluttered and dirty." It gives me goosebumps instantly."
"I feel like if we split up we'll get it faster," Caden advised Bradley. "What do you think?"
"Well, that's a good idea." Bradley patted Caden on the shoulder. "We can leave this place faster." Bradley's eyeballs looked at the ceiling of the room filled with spider webs.
The two of them finally split up and start looking for Madam Nigera's book. It was so quiet inside which makes Bradley's heart starts beating fast.
"I'm sure it's around here somewhere." Bradley squinted his eyes and looked closely at the pile of books neatly arranged there. "But where's it?"
While checking the pile of books, suddenly, someone touches his shoulder and instantly makes him turn around.
"Holy crap! Cad?" Bradley raised his tone followed by a momentary widening of his eyeballs. "Geez, you almost gave me a heart attack." He stroked his chest repeatedly.
"Oh, I forget to tell you the book color is light brown," Caden taps Bradley's shoulder over and over. "Calm down buddy, take it easy."Caden laughs at Bradley's words and he walks away.
The dust in the room flows freely causing him to sneeze occasionally as he walks around the place. His eyes continuously look around and he sees termites starting to gnaw at an old cupboard nearby as well as several columns of the building appearing to be filled with ant houses, creating a horrifying pattern.
"Damn, how do we find that book in this place," He grumbled and scratched his head. "What the hell does Madam Nigera want with the book?"
Suddenly in front of him, he spots something moving fast. Bradley stops his footsteps and thinks it's Caden. However, when he calls out Caden's name over and over the figure doesn't reply to Bradley's words at all, and immediately cold sweat breaks out and follows the curve of his face.
"Gosh, what's that?"
