Chapter-22: Connection.
Next day.
Officers were roaming around the city and they were checking each and every hospital and clinic also. They were also going to those police stations to know about the missing complaints of family members. In the hospital they were asking about the missing dead bodies. While searching, they found many missing complaints from police stations and they went to their houses. From there, they found that their family members used to be missing for some days and after sometime, they were found somewhere in the city and they were dead also.
They also said that their body parts had stitched like they had taken out something. They had made a complaint but till yet nothing was found. In hospitals, officers ask about the surgery in which doctors use to take out body organs. But from there, they did not find anything which could help them. They all came back to the office with small information but James was not in the office, only GK was sitting inside the cabin. All the officers went inside and they asked about James.
"Sir… where is our Chief?"
… He turned his head and saw all of them. They all were looking nervous.
"Today, he will not come." [in low voice]
"Why sir?"
He smiled and told them to continue their work. GK knew where is James. While officers were standing in a group and they were talking to each other about the case. Ben was talking about those organs and Connor was talking about Harry.
"Organs were transported under Peter's supervision."
"Yes… and Peter used to work for Harry. Means, there is a connection between Harry and this organ trafficking."
… They are also talking about the surgery. Tim and William were talking about the doctors who used to do this and Kelly and Emma both were talking about the place.
"This type of surgery used to occur in lonely places or private places."
"Means, in those places doctors were also there and they used to do this work."
[Loud sound]
"GK!!"
Martin was walking towards the cabin and he entered inside and Martin asked about James from him but he told him that he does not know where he is. Meanwhile, Albert and Amanda came there for a small talk. But when they saw Martin over there, they were surprised to see him.
"GK… I want to know where he used to go on this day and if I found him then I will not leave him."
In anger, he left the office and Amanda asked about Martin from GK.
GK- "Leave it."
Albert moved his head and took a long breath. He was there because he was called by Ben.
"Ben, tell me what you want to show me."
Officers showed him some pictures and it was the pictures of dead bodies and they all had stitches marks on their body. … Albert was looking at those pictures very carefully. Dead bodies had stitch marks on the kidney side, eyes, chest.
"Hmm."
Fred was staring at Albert.
"Sir, did you get something?"
Fred used to irritate him and that time, he got angry with him but it was normal for him. Albert was looking at those stitches marks and it was looking different for him. He was understanding something from those stitches.
… "Officers, through these stitches marks, I think the man who used to stitch them… he is untrained." When officers looked at those marks, it was different. Albert was right. After sometime they both went from there but before they left the office, that time he asked about James.
Albert- "GK, where is he?"
GK- "At the shop."
All the officers were wondering what he just said, at the shop… what does that mean?
James was driving his car towards the shop. He was having white envelopes on the other seat and he stopped his car outside the shop. JANE was the name of the shop and it was a shop where ladies dresses used to be available. He parked his car and took those envelopes in his pocket and entered inside. [Ring] Doorbell started ringing. All the staff look at him. He smiled at them and went to the small cabin of that shop.
"Good morning sir."
"Hmm."
One of the staff locked the door from inside and placed the card in which CLOSE was written. There were three staff members and they went into that small cabin. James was sitting on the chair and three envelopes were placed on the table.
"These are your salaries. Please!!" They took their salaries and went out of the cabin without saying anything to him. But one of the members stopped there and her name was May.
… "Sir… how is Ember?"
"Ah!! She is fine and enjoying her time."
On the table, there was a picture of his wife Jane. He gave her name to the shop and runs that shop also.
[At night]
James was standing on the road side and Bobby came there. James wants an answer for him about organ trafficking. Bobby does not know about that but he assured him that he will find the man who is behind this organ trafficking. But James wants to ask him about Peter also because if he found him then he will get Harry.
"Contact me if you found something."
"Ok sir."
After some time, GK came there.
"I knew that you would be here… near the shop."
GK was there to tell him about the progress in the case. He told him that officers were trying their best to get that man who is behind organ trafficking.
[Sweet smile]
GK also told him that officers were feeling bad about what they did recently.
"Leave it. It was just an accident."
GK was thinking about the next step, what they have to do through which they can catch those people who used to do this work.
"James, what do you think?"
"First, we have to find those places where they use to do this work and from there, they will catch those people who are behind this trafficking."
James was right but they can't keep an eye on all citizens. First, they have to search all those private clinics. For that James had a plan in his mind. But there was also someone who knew about James and they also knew that James was going to do something to catch them. It was none other than Francisco and Evan. Both were thinking about him and that time Peter was sitting in front of them.
"Peter, you said that James is going to do something to catch them. Hmm."
[Laughing]
Francisco was laughing and he stood from his seat, holding his knife in his hand and walking together with Peter. He was licking his lips and moving his head left and right. He put his one leg on the table and placed his knife on his neck. … Peter was feeling scared of him. He was sweating from his head. He knew that if James catches Peter then everything will be destroyed.
"So, you think… James will find us."
He was breathing slowly because of his knife which was in his neck.
"I think so."
He laughed again and he asked him to leave because they have to do a lot of work. Evan was thinking about the words which were said by Peter. He thinks that he will get them but Francisco does not care about that. He showed him his phone and it was a new order.
… "Leave everything, we have to prepare a new order."
Harry was busy making his drugs. He told his boys that no one was going to use those cars, which they had bought from Carson's shop. He ordered his boys to leave those cars in a lonely place and left all the details which they had given to the shop. Some cars and vans went out from the factory and Harry made a call.
"I want some cars. I don't want to take risk. James is behind Peter and I think he needs some break." "Ok."
Peter came there and he was looking scared. He stood in front of him and told everyone to Harry but he wanted to say something else also. He told him to take a break for some time. Peter was shocked to hear that.
… "Why boss?"
"James is behind you and if he finds you then we are all going to face many problems. So, Take a break."
That time Peter decided that he would not leave the factory until this case got settled. Harry connected to high officers so that he could know about their next step.
James was in the hall section of his house and he was holding the list in his hand. He was reading the name of those people who had bought cars from the shop.
… "Hmm."
He knew that they did not give their real name and details and if somehow, he found those cars and van then they would be found in a lonely place. He was thinking about this because he knew that someone was in the headquarters who used to tell them about their step.
Meanwhile Summer was sitting in the lobby and she was thinking about James. Meanwhile her mother asks him to sleep because it was late night.
"Yes mom."
