Chapter-26: Facing the ghost.
James was in the hospital with Summer. She was laying on the bed, doctors had treated her and they told him that she is out of danger. The bullet which struck her was very close to her heart but she was very lucky. He stayed there with her on the bedside and he also informed his team. After some time, GK came there with all the officers. When they all saw her in bad condition, they all felt bad about her.
It was the second time when someone tried to hurt his officers. First, Harry came there for his drugs and now, one bloody sniper attacked on his officer. GK was very angry and he quickly took out his phone and told all other officers to search for that man whose name is Peter. Officers spread all around the city and searched for that man but Peter ran away from there and hid himself again. GK left the bag in front of James and went from there.
Officers were roaming around the city and asking all the people about Peter. They were showing his picture also but then they could not find anything. But this time they won't stop. GK was using his full force of police and team to find that man and James was still sitting on the side of Summer. His phone was placed over the table and he could listen to everything whatever his team was doing.
GK was roaming his car around the city and grabbing all scoundrels who were used to irritate people around them. Ben and Connor grab them and ask them about Peter but they do not know anything. GK also connected to Bobby and he asked about the small drug dealers of the city. When he got the list and location, they all went to those locations and grabbed each and every man from there. Officers were trying their best to find him but they kept failing.
[Night]
Officers were still on the road and this time, when Harry found that officers were on the road and they all were finding them. He was shocked and quickly made a call to the high officers and asked them to stop all officers otherwise they would find Peter and he would have to change his location. He was in trouble and this trouble came due to Francisco. He made a call to him and asked him why he did this but Francisco laughed at him in a loud voice.
Officers were entering all hotels, resorts and bars where people can stay but they did not find anything. While searching around the city, Bobby made a call to GK and told him that his boys had seen Peter in a bar. … GK was very happy to hear that and they all moved towards that bar. They all reached there and covered that bar from all directions. In anger, the FORCE team was crushing their teeth.
"Go!! Get him."
They all get inside that bar and search him around. After sometime they all found him and they all launched themselves at him. Peter was running around to save himself and throwing glasses and bottles on them but they weren't going to leave him. Officers were struggling to grab him and finally, they all grabbed him and dragged him out from the bar in front of GK.
… "Enough!!"
He punched him in the face and asked officers to put him in the car. Meanwhile, GK had a call from the headquarters and ordered him to leave other officers.
He had to accept their order and he left other officers. There was only a FORCE team and they would take him to their office. Meanwhile, the media also came there and they started recording it. People were watching Peter on tv and James was also watching tv in the hospital. That time he was drinking water and he was holding a glass in his hand.
"The FORCE team had arrested that man who knew everything. This team has proved that the public should not fear from them."
GK put him in the middle car and other officers sat in other cars. Fred and Tim were sitting with him and they all were coming towards their office. GK was in the front car with William and the rest were behind. James was still looking at the TV and it was going live. James can see that road; he knew that they were going to face a problem because they were without security and a team. He also knew that they all needed his help. He opened that bag and put the iron plates on the back of his leg.
He called hospital staff and told them to take care of her. He went from there, till then Summer had opened her eyes and she could see him going out from her room. He informed GK that he was going to meet them on the road.
"Ok."
They all were driving their cars towards their office. Whole driving on the road, they all reached at T point of the road. When they crossed that point, some cars came there from that road and collided with the last car. Bang.
All officers get shocked. Who dares to attack them but Peter laughed and told everyone that they all will going to die? GK ordered everyone to drive their car fast and reached at the office as soon as possible. But it was like those people will not going to let them go. They were colliding their cars with their cars and try to stop them all.
They all were struggling to go but they won't allow them to go. Different cars were moving on the road and creating obstacles for them. They create a traffic jam on the road and they all had to stop there. … [Door opened]
A dozen of people came out from the cars and they all were wearing black mask on their faces and they all were staring on them. … All the officers came out from their cars. They were staring at him and one of the black mask men lift his hand. It seems that he was asking about Peter but Connor lock the doors.
Suddenly, they all attacked on all officers and a fight occurred in the middle of the road. Peter was trying his best to open the door. He can't use his hand because his hands were tied up on his back. He was shouting and screaming inside the car. Meanwhile, one man came there and he try to open the door but Ben kicked him and stop him from helping Peter. But again, another man came and he open the door.
Officers quickly try to stop him but they all stop them. Meanwhile, another car came and Peter ran away from there and those black mask people beat all officers.
GK was laying on the road and black masked man took a knife on his hand. Before he attacked at him, James grab his hand from back and break his arm.
[Crack]
He threw him aside and all black masked man looking at him. GK who was laying on the road, he starts laughing because James is there and he will not be going to leave any of them. James was looking very angry and they all attacked on him and James also fight back. He was alone but enough for all of them.
They all were trying their best to beat him but they failed. They have their knife on their hands but then also, they can't beat him. James was beating all of them and beat them very badly.
[Heavy breath]
Bodies were all over and James was standing alone. Meanwhile three ambulance came there for medical emergency and other officers also came there. He ordered them to take them and he also gave them a strict order that he will going to ask questions to them.
Officers were getting checked by doctors and GK get hurt more than anyone else.
"So… they choose you only."
James was hiding his smile because he can see many wounds and cuts on his body.
"He was about to kill me. Where were you when they were beating me?"
James had no answer, he kept laughing at him. In anger GK try to stand but due to pain he can't and kept sitting on his place.
Peter reached at the factory and Harry was very happy to see him but his happiness was not for a long time. He had a call from high officers.
"What happened officer?"
"Harry, GK is not a foolish man. He is very clever. Check everything."
[Shock]
Harry quickly check his body and hair but he did not find anything. He kept checking him. Peter was not understanding what he is searching in his body. He kept on asking him what happened but he won't answer him. While searching, Harry forgot to check his fold side of cloth. … He slowly unfolds that cloth and surprised to see a bug.
"Shit!!"
He took that bug on his hand and crushed it. In a loud voice, he shouted and told everyone to leave this area as soon as possible.
He also told them to take those things which is important and left everything on its place. In this situation, he realized that Peter is headache and they should leave him there.
