CHAPTER 2
[TEN YEARS LATER]
[ANDREW'S POV]
My name is Andrew, an orphan with the powers of a god. Ten years ago, my parents were murdered by the ravaging werewolves of Central City. Well, I was murdered too. But thanks to the witches three, I was resurrected. Not just resurrected. I was bestowed upon, the powers of an ancient god. I am faster and stronger than even the werewolves. And guess what, I can't die. Well, technically I'm already dead. My point is, I can't die again.
For centuries, Central City has been ruled by werewolves, not until I became a werewolf hunter. The reign of Werewolves ended five years ago after lots of killing. Yeah, I did the killing. Can't count the exact numbers but I've killed over a thousand werewolves from all over the world. My dream is to see the world free of the ravenous beasts.
For the past ten years, I have etched my name on the walls of history. The werewolves live in fear of me. They tremble when they see me. Their fear makes my heart burn with joy. It was the same fear my parents and I experienced that night in the woods before our throats got ripped out.
Intel got to me that a pack of betas were gathering in Central City and their location handed to me. It seems the werewolves are making a last effort to bring me to my knees. But you and I know that ain't happening. I was a prey before I died, then I was reborn a god. ALL WEREWOLVES MUST DIE!
[END OF POV]
Standing on the roof of a bungalow, Andrew waited. Time had changed him. Unlike ten years ago when he was a boy, he was now a man and thus had the features to complement that. His face was round and smooth. He had broad sharp eyes, a small nose and semi full lips. His hair was jet black and curly. His height seemed average for his age. He was clad in a black leather jacket with a brown tee inside. He wore blue coloured jean trousers and brown boots.
The building Andrew was upon was one of the five bungalows in the large compound. There lots of cars parked in the compound, more coming in through the gate. Andrew stood at a vantage position watching and waiting for the right time to strike. He had counted about twenty cars and each car contained at least three people. That makes it about 60 Betas in the compound and inside the building.
"Well, I guess it's gonna be a bloodbath." Andrew muttered, smiling to himself. Slowly, he began to descend from the roof of the building. And on sighting him, the werewolf guards below began to snarl. With a murderous intent, Andrew leapt unto the ground and charged into the midst of the werewolves.
Meanwhile, inside the building, the Betas were having a meeting. And it was a loud one. Different voices tried to gain attention, thus causing a raucous atmosphere. These Werewolves were completely oblivious of the massacre going on outside the very building they were in.
Inside the huge room, the Betas were seated round a table. Standing at the head of the table was a female Beta werewolf who appeared to be presiding. This lady was Kaira, the assistant of the Alpha, Jared.
She was elegant in appearance both physically and fashion wise; she was tall in height, fair in complexion and had the facial attributes of a beauty godess. Her blonde hair was styled into a ponytail and its length almost touched the floor. She was clad in a black body hugging mini gown and red heels.
"Since the Alphas are feeling reluctant to react positively to the murderous rampage of the Wolf Hunter, I have summoned the council of Betas here today to seek allegiance and a way of stopping this mad man." She spoke with a fluent American accent. Her speech was met with nods and side talks.
After a few moments, a male Beta spoke up. "But how do we stop the Wolf Hunter?" He asked rhetorically. "I mean, we've sent virtually all of our strongest werewolves against him and none has survived. Even the peace treaty method we tried failed. He literally kills any werewolf he sees even without provocation."
"Yes, you're right." Kaira agreed. "He's nigh unstoppable. What we need do is find his weak spot."
"Everyone who has gone up against him is long dead. Well, only Zachary has survived his attack. Though he's permanently lost control of his arm." Another Beta said, pointing to the Beta known as Zachary.
Zachary apparently was the werewolf who Andrew had spared ten years ago.
Sighing, Zachary said. "That was ten years ago, and I seriously doubt he's gonna just let me go next time."
"There'll be no next time." Kaira affirmed. "I'll make sure of---"
Suddenly, one of the glass windows shattered, cutting Kaira short. And through the shattered glass, a body flew through and landed unto the table the Betas were seated. The headless body was none other than that of decapitated werewolf.
Pandemonium broke out in the midst of the Betas as they all simultaneously transformed into their Werewolves form, their fangs and claws ready to rip the intruder apart.
"He's here." Kaira, who didn't transform like the rest said, her voice quivering.
And true to her words, the door to the room flew open and none other than Andrew walked in. His face was covered in blood. He walked forward and when he was few metres from the werewolves, he stopped.
"I'm very honored." Andrew began, his voice evidently sarcastic. "To know you assembled just because of me. It's a great name I've made for myself."
Getting a hold of herself, Kaira moved towards Andrew, and once she had reach arm's length, she stopped.
"Ahhh, you're a beautiful one." Andrew admired her.
"What do you want from the werewolves?" Kaira asked boldly. Shivers ran down her spine knowing the danger she was exposing herself to, standing that close to someone who could rip her apart in one second.
"What I want is simple." Andrew said and suddenly, he rushed at Kaira and grabbed her neck. "All Werewolves must die!" And then, he flung Kaira at the wall. Laura's body bursted through the wall and into the compound of the building.
Then, Andrew turned his focus on the snarling Betas before him. "I do not want to waste my time on your feeble selves." Andrew smiled dangerously, turned and began walking out of the room.
The werewolves looked on, their faces wearing shocked expressions. This was a being who had haunted them for years now walking out without making any move to bring them down. This felt strange.
As Andrew crossed the threshold of the door, he stopped abruptly, then looking back at the werewolves, he said. ".... doesn't mean you get to live. Now BURN!"
The moment the word 'burn' erupted from Andrew's lips, the bodies of werewolves suddenly erupted in flames. With shrieks erupting from their mouths, the burning beasts attempted to get rid of the flames on them but failed. They were greatly overwhelmed by the magical flames of Andrew. Smiling in satisfaction, Andrew walked out of the building.

Arriving outside, Andrew cast a look around. The compound was littered with dead bodies. Those of Werewolves. As his eyes hovered around, he noticed one of the bodies was still alive.
"Ughh, just die." Andrew grunted before slowly making his way towards the Werewolf who was trying to crawl away. Getting closer, it appeared to be Kaira. "Didn't I just throw through a wall? How the hell you still alive?"
Then, he grabbed her hair and pulled her up. The side of her face was covered in blood. Her breath was deep, and from it, Kaira's agony was revealed.
"Such a beautiful beast." Andrew said slowly. "You and every of your kind deserve slow painful deaths. You do not deserve to live!" And then, he whipped Kaira's back against a car. Kaira screamed out in pains. The pains coursing through her entire body was so great even her enhanced body system became greatly overwhelmed.
Within those few moments, Kaira's mind was crammed with thoughts. What kind of supernatural being was Andrew and why was he after the Werewolves?.
"Go tell your Alpha that I'm reserving him for last. I shall come for his head when the time is right." Having said that, Andrew loosened his grip on Kaira and watched as she collapsed unto the ground, groaning in pains.
"The next time, I shall not be so kind to you." Andrew warned, and then he turned and slowly marched out of the compound, leaving Kaira consumed in her pains waiting for her healing abilities to kick in.
