[LOCATION: LAIR OF THE WITCHES]
"WHAT WAS GIVEN SHALL NOW BE TAKEN!" The thunderous voices of the Witches came. And as they had decreed, Andrew felt himself being pulled apart by a strong force. It felt as if there was an invisible force erupting from the stretched palms of the Witches.
Andrew knelt on the ground, his entire body consumed completely by whatever spell the witches were casting on him. And being unable to physically bear the pains coursing through his body, Andrew screamed. His scream journeyed through the inner parts of the cave deep into the woods.
The echo of Andrew's screamed journeyed straight out of the cave, piercing through the eeriness hanging all over the place. And from where she was, Luminous caught the sound of Andrew's screams. She had been rushing into the cave the moment her body had enabled her to.
Andrew's screams intensified Luminous heart beat and so, she hastened her steps. Somehow, she couldn't use her enhanced speed probably due to the effects of the reversed attack on her. But with the energy within her, she trudged on, her mind firmed on rescuing Andrew from the Witches.
Soon enough, she arrived inside the very chambers of the witches were Andrew was kneeling screaming in pains. The Witches still had their hands stretched towards Andrew, and the enchantments still flew from their mouths. Swiftly, Luminous channeled the very little energy within her.
"To hell with y'all!" She screamed as her entire body erupted her bluish energy. With focus, she shot her palms forward and directed huge loads of energy beams towards the Witches. The beams flew straight and struck the Witches, knocking them unto the ground.
The moment the Witches got struck down, their spell upon Andrew ceased, resulting in Andrew falling unto the ground weakly. In a swift, Luminous rushed to Andrew and bent over him. With the little strength she had, she propped his hand up unto her shoulders and made way for the cave entrance.
"NONE CAN ESCAPE US!" The reverberating voices of the Witches boomed all over the cave. In a mysterious way, the bodies of the witches vanished from the floor of the cave and took only a second to reappear at the entrance of the cave.
Breathing heavily, Luminous paused her planned escape, her eyes searching around for any other exit way.
"NOW, YOU SHALL FEEL THE WRATH OF THE WITCHES THREE!"
Stretching their hands up in unison, the three witches began to mutter enchantments. The more they muttered, the louder their voices grew. As they continued their enchantments, the cave began to shake violently. The very grounds they stood began to quake.
"We need to get out of here." Andrew who had regained himself spoke out.
"Can you walk?" Luminous asked.
"Yeah, I think so." Andrew said. Luminous then disengaged Andrew's hand from her shoulder and took two steps forward. "I'm gonna try and knock them out of the way." Then she willed her energy beams to erupt. In obedience, the beams shot out of her body and engulfed her fully. Screaming violently, she shot her beams straight at the Witches.
The beams flew straight, but the moment they came within close proximity with the witches, the beams suddenly froze mid-air. Then in a sudden, the beams made a U-turn abd headed straight at Luminous. Acting swiftly, Andrew dived Luminous unto the floor, in time to avoid getting hit by the beams.
The moment Andrew and Luminous had erected back up, the quaking subsided, so did the witches stop their loud enchantments. The cave became as quiet as a graveyard. Only the sound of the soft wind blowing on the fires from the burning torches was the only sound heard inside the cave.
Breaking the silence jinx, the Three Witches retorted in unison. "RISE!" The moment they decreed so, eerie noises began to erupt from the walls of the cave.
"This can't be good." Luminous noted, her eyes scrutinizing the cave walls at a rapid rate.
"Took the words right out of my mouth." Andrew concurred. He stood alerted, his mind trying to fathom what the Witches had conjured.
From within the upper walls of the cave, strange creatures began to emerge. The moment the entire bodies of the creatures found their way out of the walls, they began to fall unto the ground violently. About a dozen of these creatures had been conjured.
Totally consumed by shock, Luminous exclaimed. "The Undead!"
"The Undead?" Andrew asked rhetorically, his mind knowing true fear. "Thought they were a myth?"
"Seems the Witches found a way to revive this darkness."
The Undead creatures looked monstrous and deformed. They were humanoid in appearance, slightly bent with brown dry skins. They had large eyeballs, gnarly teeth and long arms that homed black claws at the finger bases. Their movements were very slow and this was made apparent by the way they stood unto their feet as they fell.
"The Undead in the movies look way scarier than these." Andrew said.
"Do not be deceived. These Undead creatures feed on souls of the living." Luminous warned. "They can only be killed by plucking out their hearts."
"Oh man." Andrew then assumed a belligerent stance, in readiness for the imminent attack from the creatures. "Bring it on."
"YOUR SOULS ARE OURS!" The Three Witches suddenly roared in unison. "FEED!"
Under the instruction of their conjurers, the Undead creatures suddenly screeched monstrously and then, in a very surprising show of speed, they charged at Andrew and Luminous. One of the Undead swung ahead of the others and then made a powerful leap towards Andrew.
"Oh shit, they're fast!" Andrew said quickly and expertly spun unto his side, in time watch the undead fly past him before crashing unto the ground. Screeching violently, the Undead charged at Andrew once again. "Bring it on!" Andrew yelled and charged back in return.
Getting within close proximity, Andrew made a momentary halt and bent his upper body backwards, once again dodging a strike of the claws by the undead. Once the attack had been averted, Andrew erected himself. In a swift, he shot out his hands and grabbed the Undead by his neck.
"To the darkness you vile creature!" Andrew roared, and then he plunged his fist into the Undead's chest region. This was followed by high pitched screeching from the Undead. Not finished yet, Andrew retrieved his hand from the Undead's chest, the black heart of the creature held firmly in his grip with black blood dripping from it.
In a horrible manner, the undead bursted into pieces after series of violent screeches. Flinging the heart from his grip, Andrew rushed to Luminous' side and together they faced the horde of Undead creatures. With their combined efforts, they charged at the beasts.
With her fangs and claws out, Luminous charged at the Undeads. She leapt unto the body of one and sunk her fangs into the creatures neck. In a violent way she ripped off the flesh of the Undead before proceeding to burst out the heart from the creature's chest region.
She leapt unto another of the Undead, planted her claws unto the creature's chest and plucked out its heart. In a swift manner, she grabbed the body of the undead and flung it towards two Undeads who charged at her. The flying body struck the two attacking creatures before exploding into bits.
Without demurring, Luminous lunged at the creatures. She grabbed one by the neck, then her legs were wrapped around the other in such a way that she was untop them in a horizontal manner. In an expert manner, she spun herself mid-air. The creatures were knocked unto the ground.
Erecting swiftly, Luminous rushed at the first Undead and bursted through its chest region and plucked out its chest, proceeded to the other one and did the same thing. Then, with both hearts in her grip, she charged ahead and struck down another of the undead with the hearts.
While Luminous engaged the Undead creatures, Andrew on the other hand also dealt with the creatures that attacked him. With his strength recovered, he held an Undead by the neck and slapped him hard on the bodies of two other Undead. Then in a horrible manner, he punched his fist into the creature's chest and smashed its heart.
Feeling enraged, Andrew unleashed his sharp claws upon the Creatures, striking them down one after the other and plucking out their hearts. As he made to charge forward, a powerful burst of wind swept him off his feet and knocked him unto the ground.
Before he could get back up, the powerful wind swept him off the floor once again, this time, together with Luminous and knocked them both unto the far end of the cave. Their bodies slammed unto the ground hard, forcing painful grunts out of their mouths.
"NONE SHALL ESCAPE THIS EVIL!" Apparently, the Witches were responsible for the mysterious winds that swept Luminous and Andrew off their feet.
"We need to get out of here." Andrew suggested, the moment they had stood back unto their feet. The rest of Undead were now slowly heading towards Andrew and Luminous, their snarls accompanying every hideous steps they took.
"On my count, we zoom out of here." Luminous muttered, to which Andrew nodded.
"FEED!" The Witches roared the command. And as expected, the Undead picked up their paces and surged forward at Luminous and Andrew.
"Now!" Luminous screamed.
In a sudden, the duo activated their innate superhuman speed, bursted through the horde of Undead creatures and zoomed out of the cave, leaving a contrail of wind behind them. This resulted to high pitched screeches that flew out of the mouths of the Undead.
"NONE SHALL ESCAPE THE EVIL!" The Three Witches roared. "NONE SHALL ESCAPE IT!" Their voices reverberated from every corner of the cave and resounded to every part of the woods which the cave was inhabited. Even the fleeing duo caught the sound which haunted their minds as they zoomed out of the cave and out of the woods.
"THE WORLD SHALL FEEL OUR RETURN!" The Witches boomed in a loud voice. Then, turning towards the far end of the cave, the Witches began to roar. "RISE, RISE AND FEED!" And in obedience to their commands, more Undead creatures began to creep out of the walls in large numbers.
With evil laced in their voices, the Witches Three let out distorted laughter. Their minds fueled by more hate towards the human race. Their intentions were to wipe out the entire human world and nothing would stop them. Not even their most powerful creations could stop them.

[LOCATION: CENTRAL CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT]
The police station was crammed with law enforcement agents as usual. Inside Detective Edwards office, Liam was seated facing the detective. Detective Edwards was taking a long scrutiny of the documents in his hands. His facial expression depicted seriousness.
After a few minutes of serious scrutiny, he dropped the documents gently on the table, removed the glasses he had on and also dropped it on the table. Then, he rested his back on his swivel chair. After taking a long gaze at Liam, he decided to speak out.
"So you took out five Werewolves with just your military training?" He asked suspiciously.
"Yes, Sir." Liam replied. "I got the highest grades in my martial and artillery courses."
"Hmmm, very well. For this singular reason, your badge will be handed over to you. Proceed to Inspector Joe's office for your badge. I'd put a call across to him before you get there." Detective Edwards said on a final note. Then he brought out some other documents and began to go through them.
"Yes, Sir!" Liam made a saluted then turned and walked out of the office. Getting outside the office, he leaned back on the door and breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't know what would have happened if his superiors get to know about his Werewolf side.
As he made to march to Inspector Joe's office, a voice stops him. It was another officer whom he shared his office with. "You have a guest waiting for you inside." The officer and without waiting, walked out of the hallway into another office.
Liam wondered who his guest could be as he opened the door to his office. Getting inside, he met the backside of the male figure seating on the chair behind his table. Andrew walked over to his own seat and when he saw the face of his visitor, his body became consumed by shock. His eyes widened at the sight of the very last person he hoped to see.
"Good day, Liam." Alpha Jared's voice sounded into Liam's ears
