"Good day, Liam." Alpha Jared's voice sounded into Liam's ears.
Hearing the voice, Liam was brought back to reality. Deep in his mind, he had replayed all of the memories he had shared with his father, all of the old moments under him training rigorously. How he decided to stand up against his Father's commands, and how he ran away from home. All of these thoughts were what Liam was reliving in his head in that instant.
"I didn't predict the shock would take half as much effect as it is now." Alpha Jared said and smiled.
"I....I....I....Father?" Liam stuttered confusedly.
"It is I, Son." Alpha Jared smiled widely, exposing his perfectly set dentition.
"How did you find me?"
Alpha Jared laughed hysterically before replying. "My very own Son walks my territory and asks how I found him."
"I covered up pretty much well." Liam said.
"Indeed, you did cover up well." Alpha Jared agreed. "But you cannot hide away forever. Your greatest mistake was coming back here."
"I just want to live a normal life, nothing more."
"A normal life you say?" Alpha Jared laughed once again. "We Lycanthropes can never ever live a normal life, and if you...." Alpha Jared suddenly sprang unto his feet at an incredible speed, rushed at Liam and jammed him against the wall of his office. "....think you can be an exemption, then you must be mistaken." And then, he released his grip from Liam and stepped back.
Liam erupted into series of violent coughing as a result of the choking grip of his Father. He placed a hand on his seat to regain his posture. With a stern look, Alpha Jared walked to the door of the office, held the doorknob an paused. He turned his heads and stared intently at Liam.
"You have two days to come back home, or you're gonna kiss every single police officer in this station goodbye." Alpha Jared threatened and then he turned the doorknob and walked out of the office, leaving Liam to submerge himself in his thoughts.

The afternoon sun was at its apogee and burning its fiery rays upon Central City. Inside Andrew's house, Luminous was seated on a couch dressed in a simple tee shirt and leggings. Seconds passed and then Andrew appeared from an adjoining door with a tray that contained a glass jug of juice and two cups.
"Sorry for the delay." Andrew apologized and set the tray down on the table. "Home made juices aren't exactly my thing."
"I dig. Shoulda come help out." Luminous said smiling.
"Nahhh, I finished quiet excellent for a first timer." Andrew set the cups and turned the juice into them. Then she handed one to Luminous and picked the other one. Then he sat beside Luminous on the couch. "Hope you're feeling better now?" He asked.
"Yeah, I feel great. Being a supernatural has its own advantages, yunno." Luminous replied smiling. She took a sip from her drink. "Wow, you really are an excellent first timer."
"I know, right?" Andrew said, beaming smiles. Then for some moments, silence befell the duo. Just occasional sipping of their juice and silence was what exited between Luminous and Andrew for a very long time before Andrew decided to break the jinx.
"So, about what transpired with the Witches..." Andrew said.
"Well, we got all the proof we needed. Next plan is how to stop them before they unleash mayhem upon the World." Luminous said and sighed.
"Can't believe I'm saying this but I think it's time all of the living race come together to protect our world." Andrew said slowly.
"I'm in agreement." Luminous replied. "We have a common enemy here and if we could get past our differences, we stand a chance against the enemy."
Without relying, Andrew threw his face into his palms and fell into deep thoughts. Deep within him, he knew it was time he created an alliance with the Werewolves. Who knew the number of Undead the Witches had conjured. He needed an army, and that he was going to get from his greatest enemies.
"The problem is how to get the Werewolves to listen to what we have to say." Andrew pointed out. "I've killed so many of them that they get provoked on sighting me."
"I can resolve that. I just need something that'll draw their Alpha out, that's all." Luminous said.
"Got any ideas?" Andrew asked, his eyes fixed intently on Luminous.
"A great one." Luminous smiled mischievously.
Few hours later, Andrew and Luminous were standing by a lonely tarred road.
"This is the worst plan ever." Andrew voiced out for the umpteenth time.
"Got any better ideas?" Luminous asked for the umpteenth time too.
"I do not, but deciding to kidnap the Alpha's personal beta doesn't sit well with me. We could just break into his compound and just take him somewhere nice for a talk." Andrew suggested.
"And risk war with the very race we plan to form an alliance with?" Luminous scoffed. "How many Werewolves can you kill since after knowing the Witches had other plans for humanity?"
"To be honest, I just don't find myself hunting down any more Werewolves. I kind have this pity towards them knowing they do not have control of their thirst for blood. Looking at it closely, it wasn't their fault being like that."
"See who's giving a sob story here" Luminous laughed softly. "Okay, heads up. Our prize is in sight." And just like she had said, a black jeep was speeding down the road. The jeep headed straight and when it was almost past them, Luminous swung into action.
Luminous zoomed at the car and jammed her body against the side of the car. Due to her enhanced strength, the car found itself being flung off the road and unto the sidewalk. The car somersaulted a few times before crashing into a tree at the other side of the road.
Swiftly, Luminous and Andrew walked to the other side of the road towards the jeep which was turned upside down. The door of the Jeep flung open, apparently due to a heavy kick upon it. Few seconds later, a figure crawled out of it. It was Kaira and she was holding a briefcase. The same briefcase she had taken from the warehouse.
Once she was fully out of the car, she dragged herself unto her feet and confronted Andrew and Luminous.
"Hello, little Beta." Luminous said smiling.
"If this is about the Warehouse, those guys were bad guys." Kaira said quickly, her breath resounding loudly.
Zooming forward, Luminous grabbed Kaira by the neck and rushed her against a tree. With a monstrous voice and eyes beaming red, Luminous roared.
"You kill without mercy, but crumble in fear when you become predator!" She roared. "You sicken me!"
"I... I..I was only following instructions." Kaira replied, her voice sounding muffled, probably due to Luminous' tight grip around it.
While Luminous continued with Kaira, Andrew walked to the briefcase Kaira had been holding but which fell unto the ground the moment Luminous had charged at her. He picked it up and slowly he opened it. The contents of the briefcase brought confusion on Andrew's face.
"Luminous?" Andrew called out. "We got a case in our hands and we got questions she's gotta answer before any other thing."
"Was hoping it'll come to that." Luminous said, and then, in a flash, she struck her hardened fist unto Kaira's face, sending her into the realm of unconsciousness.

"So y'all think these bullets can end me!"
"I believe they pretty much can."
"What are they made of?"
"Every poisonous herb that can kill every supernatural was mixed to form the coating of the bullets. We've tried staking, Wolfsbane and every different method that could end Werewolves on you, yet here you still are."
"Hell yeah, here I still am."
"Then we thought, trying individual methods didn't work, what about trying all together---"
"Okay, enough of the unnecessary stories." Luminous suddenly cut into the conversation between a tied up Kaira and Andrew. "We've got no time."
After successfully kidnapping Kaira, they had taken her to an abandoned building inside the heart of the city and tied her firmly unto a wooden chair. And after she had regained consciousness, Andrew her wasted no time in interrogating her concerning the bullets in her briefcase.
"Now...." Luminous grabbed both sides of the chair Kaira was tied to. "....you will summon your Alpha here."
"So y'all just wanted to use me as bait." Kaira scoffed. "What a sick move."
"I'll just pretend I didn't hear that." Luminous smirked. "You don't know me girl. I can make you do things you don't wanna do."
"You don't scare me." Kaira replied, her face wearing a scornful look. Then, turning her eyes to Andrew, she said. "Well, not as much as he does."
Andrew chuckled slightly, and then he said. "Ohhh, you should be scared of her cos---"
Abruptly, Luminous swept the chair off the ground, with Kaira still firmly strapped to it and flung it towards the wall. Kaira and the chair flew straight right unto the wall, smashing the chair into pieces and sending Kaira slamming hard unto the ground. Without wasting time, Luminous marched forward.
Getting to Kaira's position, Luminous dragged her by the hair and swung her face up towards her. In a swift, she folded her fingers into a fist and struck it upon Kaira's face. Again, she swung Kaira's face up and struck another punch unto her face again, and again and again and again, until a palpable amount of blood spurted out of Kaira's nose.
"I advise you do what she wants." Andrew chipped. He was just standing as a spectator, watching what was happening before him. Stepping in was not what he intended and so watching was what he could do at the moment. If only Kaira knew the World was about to burn, she would not have hesitated to do Luminous' biddings.
"Summon your Alpha---!
"She already did." A voice cut in from the entrance of the abandoned building. Swiftly, the heads of Andrew and Luminous swung around to the source of the voice. Their eyes shone at the sight of Alpha Jared walking majestically into the building, behind him were two guards dressed in black suits and dark sunshades.
"Sire...." Kaira called out weakly. Luminous let go of her hair, sending her falling weakly unto the floor.
"That's no way to treat my Beta." Alpha Jared clamoured gently.
"Well, the treatment was necessary to drive home our point." This time around, it was Andrew that spoke. "Hello, Alpha."
"Oh, it's the Wolf hunter himself." Alpha Jared addressed Andrew. And then turning to Luminous, he added. "And who's this, the huntress?"
"You know you shouldn't force the humour right?" Andrew snickered.
"Yeah, I get that a lot." Alpha Jared said, his eyes traveling down to the briefcase in Andrew's grip. "I think that belongs to me."
"Well, technically it isn't yours. She...." Andrew pointed at Kaira. "....never paid the agrees fee to the other party so technically, it still belongs to them."
"Ughh." Alpha Jared grunted frustratingly. "You're an impossible one." Then turning to Luminous, he said. "Seeing you had to go through the trouble of kidnapping my Beta and torturing her just to summon me, I guess it's a matter of grave importance which I still guess you can't sort out on your own and need my help. And knowing I don't have good history with your boyfriend here...." He pointed to Andrew. "...then I guess it's something that concerns my kind."
"Bravo, you just did a surface review of everything that's happening." Luminous said. "This would make things easier for both of us." Slowly, she marched towards Alpha Jared. Getting within two inches distance, Luminous stopped. With the hardest facial expression ever, she said. "Alpha Jared, we have a lot to discuss."
