"I haven't seen Jude....." Lyrand said in passing after not seeing his second Beta.
He was called back to the clan to handle an important matter and he hasn't reported back. Do you want me to send word for him to return!?" Neal asked halting the documents he was sorting out.
If he's done with his work let him return. You'll die." Lyrand said passively and continued with his work.
Neal's lips twitched but he didn't refute his words. True, he needed Jude to he close so that the work pile wouldn't over flow! He took his phone and sent a message back to the clan before resuming his work.

Jude on the other hand after staying with the children for a few years, their scent had rubbed onto him and the only way to wash it off was to get injured then bury himself in a pool of herbs, some of which were good at washing off scents.
