ken walked into the place and noticed that everyone was here early. He glanced over to where Sydney stood and saw her in what she called 'pants' and it seemed comfortable. With this outfit, he could easily trace the curves of her body and her slender white waist was exposed since she had a tube top covering her upper body leaving the navel and waist out.
Her hair had been tied up into what she called a 'ponytail' but all her weird terminologies only made her alluring the more she sported them.
Your back!" she said with a smile and went over to him. Shawn and Caden followed behind her religiously.
Mm...I've finished the count like you suggested. It's indeed convenient to know the number of your enemies. It's even better when they are not aware that we know of their presence." he smiled respectfully at her. If they had shown any kind of aggressive behaviour towards the strays, he was sure the whole city would he flooded with hundreds of strays.
"Did you manage to locate their colony?" Sydney asked.
We sent some of the snake beastmen who are in good terms with us to follow those strays back to their colony. We should get the news by afternoon." Ken assured her and Sydney nodded in approval.
Let's get started. We don't have forever." she said and turned to Shawn. "Give!" she said her hand spread out to her.
Shawn frowned a little and took the sharp 'weapon' and handed it to Sydney. She had asked for something to use while fighting but upon realising that these people didn't even have iron equipment, she ganshed her teeth and asked for the sharpest thing around. They told her that it was scales from the mermaid and snake beastmen since those only gave their scales to their mates and no one else and besides, the scales were extremely sharp and Sydney would hurt herself accidentally. She glowered in frustration. She needed a weapon! Surely her measly punches would he as good as offering massaging services to these tough skinned beastmen.
But I'd she could acquire something that could cut through their tough skins, then she was sure on a battle against them. Her males were left with no choice but to make a weapon for her under her relentless insistence and they finally crafted a stone blade equally as sharp as any snake scale. Shawn who was in charge of handling it was reluctant to give it to her.
She snatched it from his waist and held the handle which wasn't sharp and wrapped in animal skin to protect her hands down being hurt. All the men in the room had eyes on her. They really believed in her strategic plans against the strays but we're skeptical about her battle powress. They had fought and fended for themselves since childhood so they actively knew the capability of a fully grown beastman.
Ash on the other hand was in astonishment as he looked at how she played with the stone blade. Stretching a little bit, Sydney relocated her stood bones making crackling sounds. Ken spluttered with laughter earning a glare from Sydney. 'Humph...laugh while you can...you won't know what hit you!' she sneered and ignored his amused look.
Who goes first?!" she asked looking at the five men in the room. They looked amongst themselves wondering who was willing to go first. Ash who had been in his beast form since he met her was the one who stepped forward. Sydney smiled in acknowledgement. His eyes were deep and cold but she could tell her cared and wasn't casting judging eyes at her. He rather seemed curious about her abilities.

By the time she turned back to look at Ash who was at the other end of the room, her smile was gone and her originally soft and beautiful eyes had turned sharp and her body in a fighting Stance.
This took everyone off guard as they looked at her in utter shock but no one moved, eyes on Sydney..they had a tactic understanding to protect her incase she hurt herself. Knees bent slightly and her back hunched a little, the arm holding her dagger held at her back with one arm while the other was propelled to the front, she attacked well aware that the city lord wouldn't. She had convenced her mind that she was up against a real wild beast that didn't understand her and was to rip her to pieces if she didn't do her utmost best to stay alive.
She bolted like a bullet from a gun and Ash took that as his cue to attack as well not holding back his hunting instincts. He understood what she wanted and he was going to stop at nothing to give it to her. That didn't mean he didn't take into consideration the fact that it was his Sydney...of course he'd never hurt her!!!!
Since there wasn't much space in the place, Ash pounced upon Sydney after having calculated her possible attack but he was caught off guard when she dodged his attack by rolling under him her sharp blade jabbing at his front left paw. It was a last second decision but she had an advantage since she had injured him.
Ash let out a menacing growl at Sydney who was only gaining her bearings but wasn't late as she was already scowling at him. Kicking at the right surface of the hall with his protruded claws, he charged once again and this time, Sydney took defence which was a feild she was better versed at! She didn't get away from her place and waited as he attacked and this time, she didn't use the sharp part of her weapon but the handle which she ruthlessly jabbed at a muscle on his hind hip to the right sending his nerves into shock and hence throwing him off balance.
Too engrossed in her battle, Sydney didn't notice that every male in the room was looking at her in respect. Ash was a nine level beastman and despite having suppressed himself, it was only less to a six level beastman but Sydney still had an advantage?!!! It was scary to watch the beautiful female turn out to be a fighter!!!
Why had the gods exposed her to harshness for her to fight this hard! What life had she grown up in?!! All males wanted to know what family she has grown in and beat them to death for being inconsiderate towards such a beautiful and lovely female.
Sydney had a thin layer of sweat covering her smooth face. After two attacks, Ash stopped charging at her and only stood at the side in concern. What had she gone through to be put into a situation where she had to fend for herself to the point of being able to take down a beastman. He wasn't going to deny...though her attacks weren't as impactful on him, for any other beastman below the fifth rank would definately be injured by her.
Sydney had been expecting to see shocked expressions after proving herself, she saw that the men were looking at her with pained expressions like they felt bad for her. She wanted to retaliate against their lack of support but chose to let it be. She had proved herself she was going to pertake in this fight and wasn't going to consult anyone about it!
Shawn who couldn't see a thing shuffled his way to Sydney and hugged her. He couldn't see but he knew that whatever happened, Sydney had proved herself but it only hurt them as males.
Growing up, they were taught that females were to be treasured and be given anything and everything they desired. The female's only role was to accept her males and love them then the rest would he considered done!
