The falcon king was red in the face all night long. He had come to have a talk but now he wasn't even permitted to leave or he would be striken to death.

He looked at the beastman on the ground with a complicated gaze. No matter how he tried, he just couldn't pinpoint which clan he belonged to!
He sat on the ground and observed him keenly.
"I know you are awake! You don't need to pretend!" He pointed out.
The sick male opened his eyes and looked at Hamp. "Who are you?" he asked indifferently.
"I'm Hamp. Sydney assigned me to watch over you since she couldn't bring you back home!" He was honest and didn't lie.
The blue eyed male frowned. She couldn't bring him home? Why? He was her mate!!
"Your wounds healed faster than I expected. I even didn't do anything!" Hamp continued to explain. He had been fumbling with herbs only to realise that all his efforts were useless!
