Chapter 5 - Tired of Dying

Hi guys I'm trying to evaluate where the flaws of this novel lies, if you have a problem with anything please be vocal I would appreciate it a lot

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The monster was not only a whole rank above him; it also displayed that it was at level 8, but according to the forum, there was nothing like a warrior at level 8.

"Does that mean it's at a renowned rank?" Wilder asked himself

All in all, it seemed like Wilder was absolutely fucked; this was not something he could handle, and he was already severely injured, so he couldn't afford to lose unless he wanted to lose his life.

"Hrrrrrrr" the boar king came charging at Wilder, causing the whole place to shake.

Seeing this boar charge at him, Wilder quickly dodged to the side.

But the sheer speed at which the boar king was moving was so incredible that the air around it still managed to push Wilder, making him unbalanced.

"arg!!" Wilder struggled to look up, but before he knew it, the boar king was charging at him once more.

Wilder looked to the side of the hill to see if he could escape, but for some reason the path he ran down from was completely gone.

That meant there was absolutely no way back; he would either fight and die here or fight and live.

The situation was worsening by the minute.

"Did I offend God?" In the span of a few days, he had died several times, and although he survived, it was quite a painful experience, even though he pretended like it wasn't. He was truly tired of dying.

And now he was about to be killed again? Maybe some crazy entity was messing with him, because this didn't seem normal at all.

"Wait a minute," Wilder thought to himself.

If some crazy entity was out to get him, he would use his own crazy entity to get himself out of this.

"System, get me out of this one last time, and I promise I will take on your stupid missions again." Wilder screamed out loud while dodging another charge.

His health bar was already decreasing slowly.

He couldn't even get close enough to the boar king to use his flashing blade; he was in dire need of some help.

[The system is processing the host's request,...]

The system resounded in Wilder's ears.

"Shit, I will have to last that long first." Wilder gritted his teeth, dodging the attack once more.

After a few more seconds of running for his life, Wilder received a notification.

Health: 100Hp

Energy manipulation: 100 (locked)

Skills: flashing sword; step; chop; slash; etc.

Special skills: thousand-weapon scripture

"oh shit!!" Wilder grew astounded when he saw the special skill added.

The thousand weapon scripture was the pinnacle of skills even in the immortal world; he had gone through heaven and hell to get it, and now he could use it in game? What kind of damage would it be able to achieve here?

"still though….." Wilder wondered how it would fare in the game.

"Thousand weapon scripture: sword rain." Wilder activated the skill without second thought.

Almost immediately, the boar charged at Wilder.

"Woosh" Wilder dodged with his sword; it looked like a piece of cloth being dragged.

And in this setting, Wilder was the piece of clothing.

The thing Wilder loved about the Thousand Weapons Scripture was the ability it granted the weapons in hand. It made it seem like they had a mind of their own.

"Hrrrr" the boar saw that its charges were no longer doing so well with Wilder and became enraged.

"slash"

"cut"

"dodge"

Slowly, Wilder started to chip away at the life of the red boar king. At this point, he was no longer losing HP; the boar was

Red boar king

Hp: 15,000/ 15,000

HP: 14,500/ 15,000

Each strike took a huge chunk off of the red boar king's health bar.

"I think I will be able to do this." Wilder's eyes brimmed with joy; he was honestly sick of the feeling of dying all the time.

Minutes passed, and although Wilder had the thousand weapon skill," he still needed to fight just like everyone else.

So he was truly dancing on the edge of a knife as he constantly attacked the red boar king.

And after a long, drawn-out battle

HP: 0000/ 15,000

The red boar king fell over and died.

After that

His short sword also shattered; the level of damage it was dishing out with the help of the Thousand Weapons Scripture was too much for it to handle.

Wilder himself was not in good shape; he had dislocated his arm and was bleeding from his nose.

"Whoever designed this game is cruel." Wilder muttered

Every single cut and bruise hurt like a real one in here. Wilder had been in countless battles, so he knew how to handle this kind of pain, but what about the average man? If some random person went through this, they would be scarred for life.

But of course, an average person would not have been able to do what he just did; in fact, an ordinary person would only be able to roll over and die if faced with such a monster at the level of a commoner.

Wilder's eyes brimmed when he saw the newly updated stats.

He'd gotten to the warrior rank in one fell swoop, which was awesome, but he kept a mental note of it.

"This place is dangerous."

What Wilder didn't know was that the situation he was in was one designed to kill anyone who completely cleared the boar graveyard; in fact, several players encountered it and fell to it.

But the funny thing was that the event only revealed itself to players of lower ranks; for higher-level players, the boar king would never come out, meaning that what he just did had never been done before.

Killing a warrior-level 8 monster at common rank

It was truly absurd.

"There's this too." Wilder looked at the new stats. There were several things there that he didn't understand.

First was the energy manipulation stat, but he figured that sooner or later he would understand that.

But he had vividly read that once one made it to warrior rank, their class would no longer be editable, but his was still showing editable.

As Wilder was thinking, the red boar's body twitched, causing Wilder to flinch.

"I have to get out of here in case whoever it is that's messing with me decides to wake that thing up." Wilder thought to himself and immediately climbed up the hill and left the area.

After checking the map, Wilder soon found himself in the closest camp in the area.

There were several players walking around going about their business; there was also a shipyard to the side, though only canoes seemed to be present.

It was really entrancing.

But that was not what was going through Wilders' mind at this moment.

"Isn't this Jade Beast Town?" Wilder looked stunned.

This was a town in the immortal world.

But before Wilder could think of anything else,
