The Mesopelagic Grand Base owned by AMER (Advanced Military and Entity Research) stood as the central hub for the company's development and operations. With its massive structure submerged deep beneath the sea, its presence felt alien to the local community. Situated at depths reaching up to 500 meters below the surface in the Pergota Strait, a narrow passage connecting the cities of Semarang and Grimoir in Indonesia, its location was deliberately chosen to encompass all research subjects that served as sources of imbalance in the world order.
The event known as Impact Day occurred in 2020. It was the moment when someone's research met a fatal failure due to abstract causes. The mismatch between the research theory and the conditions at the test site turned it into a workplace accident. As a result, a powerful explosion had laid waste to an area, forming the strait as it is today.
