"Humans have taken too long to evolve; the seal is breaking and the other Gods will soon discover this world. Before that happens, I will give humans a chance to grasp their fate in their own hands."
"I created humanity in my own image so technically they have what it takes to survive. The current age takes the path of technology and what most people love is games. Then let's play a game, shall we?"
"Let me see how far you can go, and of course, lest I forget, the beast also deserves a chance. Unlike the humans, their growth will be exceptionally fast. Not all humans will survive this, but it's a necessary sacrifice to pay as the ones that survive will be able to create a path in the great world."
In the year 2080, a man clad in gold armor appeared above the clouds, and for some reason, everyone in the world could see him. Everyone stopped what they were doing, those that were inside came out and stood on the road to see this strange phenomenon; some believers were already kneeling and praying to this strange entity in the sky. The man stood in the sky looking down on the world as he spoke.
"Humans and beasts of this world, the age of doom is approaching and the path you currently walk will take ages to achieve any meaningful result so I'm going to give humanity a chance. What you can achieve depends on you. If you fail, only annihilation awaits the entire world for I have shielded you from the coming disaster for as long as I can, and now, the seal I placed on the world can no longer hold. Once the seal breaks, that is the day humanity ends if you are not strong enough to protect yourself, then death is the least of your problems."
"Now that I've said all I can, now begins the evolution of the world. The beast you know will be your stepping stone, some beasts will gain high-level intellect when they evolve, and if you think this is cruel, then forget about surviving in the outer world. I've seen this world like games so I'll be making this evolution process in the form of a game. There will not be a level, but there are ranks and stats given. To progress to the next level you need to hunt in my Domain. There, you will find things that are naturally impossible. The beasts of this world will also be teleported to the dimension I've created."
"And when you see these creatures again, even the weakest ones can, and will, kill you. I won't ruin the fun for you, so you may find out yourself by venturing my Domain. Remember: only the bravest of hearts have any hope of living.
Disappearing from the skies while everyone still had stunned looks on their faces, the world suddenly trembled. Undergoing some sort of vast change, every human big or small, young or old, was suddenly teleported into a weird space.
Still dazed from what they were seeing, people heard weird voice sound in their head, showing them something like stats. Most that were into video games already knew what those were and suddenly became excited as they could finally live out their fantasies. Unfortunately, reality is surely cruel, as this is a world dominated by beasts.
And so began the culling game as beasts and humans fought one another. The result was the deaths of countless humans as nearly 80 percent of the population succumbed to the cruel fate of reality and death.

It's been 50 years since the gold clad man in the sky spoke. Humans that have entered this domain have died by the millions, and the ones that survived could be considered the best of the best.
Humans were optimistic at first because of the opportunity this presented; a great change that could be beneficial to them. However, as they came to terms with their surroundings and realized they couldn't go back to the main world, panic immediately spread out among the masses. As we know, the human race had created some of the beat technological devices. For example, the Star Destroyer, mankind's most powerful weapon was capable of destroying huge meteorites.
After suffering countless losses and the loss of their loved ones and friends, their hearts had become frosty. They fought their way through, led by a group of people with strange elemental powers. They grew in strength, eventually conquering one of the 4 known castles at that point, to the joy of the entire human race.
What they found after they entered the castle was a huge door at the end of the corridor. Pushing the door open, what lay before them was a pillar with a dazzling bright light, and upon touching it, the system prompt showed
*Sanctuary portal detected*
Transmission ready ~ Do you want to transfer to Sanctuary???
Suddenly, the news spread like wildfire! Finally, a path out of hell had been found! Emotions like joy, pain, and confusion could be felt. Every human alive in God's domain made their way to the castle upon hearing the news, but those that had already gone ahead to use the portal were stunned upon arriving at the sanctuary.
A voice they were all too familiar with rang in their heads. "Welcome to the sanctuary. This was meant to be a haven for the human race as a leeway for those whom don't want to continue on the path of evolution, as well as a means of protection from the cruel world that is my domain. This is the best I can do for you, as a fate far crueler than mine is fast approaching. It has taken 50 years to conquer a castle to get here, but no one has made it to the second domain yet.
In 1,000 years from now, the seal will be broken, and the world as you know it will cease to exist for reasons I cannot say. So, be steadfast in your path to the stars my children, for that is where you belong!"
The sanctuary can be described to be no different from the main world. It's a vast expanse of land, still filled with trees and plant life, but no beasts could be seen anywhere. Of course, there was also plant life in God's domain, but those aren't as scary as the beasts and insects in God's domain. Thankfully, the bugs in God's domain are unique and not like the ones on earth—although some resemblance could be seen.
After countless years in the sanctuary, humanity was disappointed because no technology could be taken into the domain via the portals. However, with time, they learned to implement the technology they created in the sanctuary in a better way.
No one knows when the disaster will hit, so everyone was trying their best to survive. But so far, the unluckiest ones were those that were unfortunate enough to meet a strong beast as soon as they entered the domain, dying miserably.
During the past 300 years humanity faced hard times so the world powers gathered everyone in the sanctuary under one banner called the Federation.
The four supreme leaders were in charge of overseeing this new age of humanity. As they grew in strength with each passing day, by mating and giving birth to humans with the same abilities, it caused a change; enough change to see them rule over all others with an iron fist, thereby annexing all powers amongst themselves.
The strongest humans were at the Legendary stage, and according to their data, they were at the second dreamscape. No one knows yet what comes after. The stages as of now in the first domain is as follows:
* Mortal
* Elite Soldier
* General.

Sitting on a bench, a youth with golden hair sat down while staring intensely at the sky. The federation made a strict rule, stating only youth over the age of 16 were allowed into God's domain. Before then, they spent their time in the military camp; at the tender age of six, they had already begun training in various martial arts and survival techniques while also learning unusual, various killing arts. Of course, the four powerful clans wouldn't share any powerful resources with the masses. As a result, the military personnel were only given weak martial arts.
Today was supposed to be his birthday, the day he turned 16, yet he had no family because his parents died in the domain six years ago. He was taken in by the Federation agency responsible for orphans. Although he couldn't blame anyone for their deaths, for some reason he just couldn't accept the fact that they died because of an aimless quest for strength, leaving him all alone in the world. After staring at the sky for a long time, he stood up while walking in the direction of the Federation building that housed the portal to God's domain, all the while saying a single phrase: "I will conquer this entire domain."
Upon arrival, he found a lot of youths already in line, waiting to be sent into the domain. He could feel his heartbeat increase as blood rushed to his brain due to the excitement of the unknown.
He placed his card on the desk and then was scanned. The lady processing him looked him up and down for a while because although he was very good-looking, he also looked very impoverished. Sighing, she said "May the stars guide you Timeless." But he couldn't hear any of that as his focus was entirely on the pillar.
Seeing as the process was finished, and he was allowed to proceed, he walked with heavy steps towards the portal. As he placed his hand on it, he said to himself "My journey begins," and with a blinding light he disappeared.
