"I think they just kissed." Geena said bewildered.
"Am not blind!" Ava bawled with intensed breath.
"I did not see that coming." David said with a bewildered look on his face.
Andres just stared, short of words.

"They all look like they are freaking out." Daniel said with a weak chuckle.
"I really can't face them right now, especially David. What do I even say?. And Ava? Oh my God!." Alora gasped slightly.
Daniel sighed. " I am not even sure Andres would want to talk to me. But it doesn't matter. This is what we want, right?."
Alora nodded her head a bit reluctantly.
'i hope this is right. I hope I didn't just get recklessly swayed by my feelings.'
Alora thought to herself as she smiled and nodded again.
"Let's go." Daniel said standing up.
Alora stood up too, confused.
"Where?." She asked.
"Somewhere nice." Daniel said with a smile.
Alora smiled back weakly. "Okay, but my bag is with David."
"We'll get it later. Let's go." David urged again with his hands stretched out to Alora.
Alora grinned widely as she held on to it.
And they both walked off with the others gazing at them.
Chad confusedly stared at them from where he stood. He saw the others and walked over to them.
"What was that about?." He asked.
"Yes, What was that?. Whatever that was, am pretty sure it didn't just start. And oh my God, Am barely holding myself from exploding with rage right now so someone better speak up!." Ava said almost loudly.
Andres sighed.
"It wasn't supposed to go that way." He said with a dispirited tone.
"What does that mean?." Geena asked.
"They were supposed to talk and move past it." Andres replied slowly.
"Move past what?." Ava asked with a tone of impatience.
"The kiss." David stated.
Chad gasped "oh wow."
"That has to be a lie right?." Geena asked shocked.
Ava just stared, her eyes blurry.
Andres sighed.
"It..it happened last night. Daniel told me about it. He..he said he didn't know what happened, that they never meant for it to happen. Alora has been a avoiding him all day in campus." Andres explained.
"And all Alora wanted to do was apologize so they could stop being awkward with each other, but am not really sure how that conversation went." David added.
"That is so stupid and selfish." Geena spitted out.
Chad scoffed.
"What is so stupid and selfish about it?." He asked.
"The fact that they did what they did without telling us." Geena stated.
Chad scoffed again.
"They are adults. They can do whatever they wish to without asking for our consents or whatever."
Geena chuckled drly. "Well what about Ava?. Ava has been chasing him all these years with her feelings. He said he couldn't be with her because he wasn't over Sia yet but look who seems to be over Sia now and is probably in a relationship with someone he barely knows. That is stupid!."
Ava held Geena's arm. "Geena?." She called softly. Tears in her eyes. She was clearly hurt.
"Ava?." Andres called softly. He tried to hold her hand too but ava pushed it away.
"Am..am fine." She said with tears in her eyes.
"Let's go, Geena." Ava said, Geena nodded slowly, up on her feet.
"Stay away from us. All of you." Geena said.
They both walked away.
"So selfish." Chad muttered.
Andres shook his head continuously.
"No. Actually I think the selfish one here is Daniel. And Alora too." He said.
Andres slowly stood up.
He sighed.
"Am sorry. Am out." He said.
"Out of what?." Chad asked confusedly.
"This friendship. This low-key toxic relationship we have with each other.
It really doesn't have to be this complicated.
When did it all start to go wrong?.
Am out, honestly. See you around in campus." Andres said, he grabbed his backpack.
"Well what about Daniel?. You guys live together. You can't avoid him." Chad said.
Andres chuckled weakly. "Well let's see."
He walked away.
David sighed as he stood up.
He swung his backpack across his shoulder and held Alora's own in his arm.
"It's you guys." Chad suddenly said.
David raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"It all started to go wrong when you guys walked in. We had a great relationship till you guys walked in and spoilt everything." Chad stated hoarsely.
David scoffed.
"Nah. I don't think so. Am actually scared. You know why?. Am scared me and Alora walked into something we weren't supposed to.
Andres was right. This relationship you guys have is toxic. Daniel not over his dead ex. Ava's feelings for Daniel. Geena crushing on Andres, you and your crazy girlfriend."
"Ex girlfriend." Chad chimed in, a pale expression on his face.
David nodded with a weak chuckle. "Goodbye." He said and walked away.
"Am so gonna deal with Alora." He muttered to himself.

"Where are we going to?." Alora asked.
She was in a car with Daniel, Daniel was driving.
They had dropped by at Daniel's parents home early, his parents weren't home so Daniel had the chance to take their other car.
He quickly turned to her. "You'll see." He said with a smile.
Alora smiled back, a slight feeling of uneasiness in her.
The rush of aldreline she had earlier had died off.
And she was questioning her decisions once again.

"Honestly, am worried. I don't know Alora for being so rash with her decisions, definitely not like this." David said with a tone of worriedness.
Jeffery chuckled weakly through the phone.
"She can be like that sometimes. She gets too overwhelmed by uncertain emotions and situations and ends up acting on them. Then after a while, she sinks in a pool of regrets, but she always knows how to pull herself out. She will be fine. You are friends with Daniel so you know he wouldn't do anything to hurt her. They might both just be acting on an impulse that might soon wear off. Just be there for her when it does."
David smiled. He nodded.
He quickly glanced at his watch.
"Okay. I have to go. See you soon."
Jeffery smiled. " See you soon. Love you."
"Love you too. Bye "

"Here we are." Daniel said as he stopped the car and alighted.
Alora looked around confusedly as she came out of the car.
"Where is here." She asked.
Daniel grinned. "It's nice isn't it?."
Alora looked around.
They were basically in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by tall tress and bird noises.
Probably some wild animals too.
Alora flinched.
Daniel took her hand. He smiled at her.
"It's fine. We are gonna have fun." He said with an excited tone.
He rushed to the car and brought back with him, a picnic mat and a guitar.
He showed them off to her excitedly.
Alora feigned a smile.
"Wow, that looks like alot of fun."
"I know, right. Come on." He called. He looked really excited that Alora couldn't help but smile.
He placed the mat few steps away from the car.
"Come on." He beckoned to Alora with a smile as he sat down.
Alora joined him.
Daniel smiled at her once again and began to play the guitar.
He played it really beautifully that when he was done, Alora smiled and clapped.
"That was amazing."
He grinned. "Thank you."
"I didn't know you play the guitar." Alora said.
"I don't." Daniel replied quickly.
Alora chuckled. "Well you are good at it."
"It's Sia's." Daniel Said. He watched as Alora's smile faded from her face.
"This guitar belongs to Sia. And she taught me this song. 'i miss you', she self wrote it. And she sang it to me on out first video call after she left for college. Sia even..." He stopped as he suddenly began to sob loudly.
Alora was completely taken aback.
She was confused about to do.
What do you even do when your supposed new boyfriend starts crying over his dead ex?.
Alora sighed loudly. With shaking hands, she started to pat Daniel slowly on his back but it seemed like he wanted more than that as he quickly hugged her, startling Alora.
"I miss you Sia. I really miss you. Am sorry I wasn't there.." He continued to sob.
Alora stared lostly into space as Daniel continued to cry out loud.
'how did I end up here.'

Alora thought to herself.

And there was Alora.

David sighed like he knew.
