"What is wrong with me" Daniel stopped as he said out loud.
Just then Alora let out a loud yelp from where she was, a crow had jumped on her. And she was struggling to get it off herself while crying out loudly.
Daniel immediately dropped his bag running over to her. He jerked the crow by the wings and flung it away from Alora.
They all squandered away.
After making sure the crows were no longer around, Daniel turned to Alora who was bent down, crying terrified.
Daniel bent down infront of her.
"Are you okay?". He asked.
Alora looked up slowly, her eyes wet with tears.
"Am so sorry". She said slowly.
"For what?". Daniel asked, softly. His hands unknowingly gently stroking her hair.
"For scaring you like that". Alora said as she cried out again.
Daniel laughed softly.
"You are the one who is scared right now. Stop crying and get up!". Daniel said as he tried to help Alora up on her feet.
Alora starts crying again.
"I don't think I can. I can't feel my legs!".
Daniel couldn't help but laugh. He was standing with his hands on his waist.
"Alright. Wait here".
"No. Don't leave me please". Alora pleaded in a soft tune.
Daniel chuckled. "Can't do that. Wait here,okay?".
Alora nodded with her teary eyes.
Daniel got back with his bag to meet Alora with a big smile on her face.
He was surprised for a Minute, she was literally crying few seconds ago.
Is the crow attack the reason behind the mixed emotion's of this girl.
"Alright. Come on..get up". Daniel said as he helped her up.
"Am okay!". Alora said with a smile on her face as she stood well.
"I was terrified for a moment but am okay now!". She said.
Daniel nodded with a little as he starts walking away.
Alora quickly starts walking with him.
"Thank you for saving me". She said.
Daniel nodded.
"And am really sorry about the student ID. I didn't mean to make you miss your test". Alora said calmly.
Daniel stopped as he turned to her.
"You have been the one secretly watching me at campus right?".
"Oh..I..um". Alora struggled to find words to say.
"Why?". Daniel asked again.
Alora sighed as she bent down her head.
"I don't know. I just know that anytime I see you in campus I just get this idea to follow you. I..I don't know Why. Or maybe it's because still feel bad about what I did to you." Alora stated.
"Honestly,what you did was stupid.But you've already apologized for that and I forgiven you. Now what's left is for me to thank you for helping me to find my student ID. Even though you played a stupid prank with it at least I still got it back, although it's ended up broken in two pieces and you had to get another one. So thank you, Alora". Daniel said.
Alora smiled widely.
"Oh...it's dark already. Can you walk home by yourself?". Daniel asked as they began to walk away.
He could not believe the way he was suddenly being nice to this girl. But at least he felt less stressed now like a long heavy weight has been taken off his shoulders.
"I walk home myself almost everyday especially when David has to leave early. But I can walk you home if you are scared to". Alora said.
They both laughed.

As Daniel walked into the apartment he shared with Andres, his belly grumbled.
He moved his nostril in every direction of the house to get where sweet smell of his favorite food was coming from. It's led him to kitchen.
Daniel was startled when he saw Andres wearing an apron.
"What are you doing?". He asked.
Andres turned to him. "You are home.Look, I made your favorite food, ramen. Just the way you love it". Andres said.
Daniel was trying so hard to hide the joy in his face.
"Did you also do the dishes?". He asked in awe.
"Well...it's Only natural to do the dishes after cooking right?!. I did the laundries too". Andres said.
Daniel smiled widely.
"I think I know why you are doing all these?". Daniel said.
Andres sighed as he walked over to Daniel.
"I was wrong. I am really sorry Daniel". Andres said calmly.
"I was wrong too. I overreacted about the whole thing. She isn't that bad. And am really sorry". Daniel said.
They both nodded at each other with a smile.
"Is the food ready?!. I am starving!". Daniel said.
"Yes. Just help set the table". Andres said.
"On it!".
"So, we are having another karaoke night. Can you make it?". Andres asked.
"Tonight?".
"Yea. I invited Alora too if you are okay with that. She couldn't make it the last time as you!".
Daniel chuckled.
"I will be there. And am okay with her there too " Daniel said.
Andres was in awe. He wasn't expecting him to agree so easily. This is good. He smiled widely.
"Hold on.what did you mean by 'she isn't that bad'. Who were you referring to?. Alora?". Andres asked, his eyes looked like they popped out if Daniel confirms that it's was Alora.
Daniel nodded anyway.
Andres chuckled in surprise.
"Did you talk to her or something?". Andres asked. He was eager to get the full gist.
"Yea. Kind off!".
"OMG!. Where? How? Why?. You weren't really happy with her after the Student ID Card incident".
"True. But at least she apologized. I didn't even thank her for helping me find my Student ID Card all this time. I finally did today".
Andres smiled. "That's cool. Am glad you guys are at least in good terms now".
Daniel smiled widely.
"Yea..am glad too!".
