As Isiah the redheaded woman slept on the grass with comfort, she felt a sparking blue ball within her mind that was enticing that kept calling for her. But in her mind, it was just a fleeting dream that she would soon forget. So she continued to sleep soundly on the grass, but not long after the smell and aroma of the sparking blue ball that kept calling for her became so intense that she momentarily became adazed and wandered to it absentminded.
Next thing she knew, she was infront of the Blue ball that seemed to engulf her sight, then she noticed it grew bigger and bigger until it swallowed her whole. All without her being able to do anything, not able to move or scream.
Then her real body on the grass twitched and rolled, not long after as her body rolled, something stopped her body from moving, them she found herself staring at a large brown box that took up most her view.
'where am I?' Isiah thought .
"did I overdrink last night?" she said dumbfoundedly, but as she looked down all she noticed was grass. And not the familiar white floor of the hall she was at.
Then she turned to look around her surroundings and what she found were also other people, people she knew, sleeping soundly over grass, with a brown box of varying sizes behind each and every single one of them.
'what's wrong with everyone?'
As Isiah turned to look at what was infront of her again, she noticed an altar. With two crystal tablets. By the altars side stood two tall hooded statues with wings behind their back. As she looked at them, instead of feeling comforted by the statue of what was presumed to be an angel. Instead what she felt was dread and as if some kind of power suffocated her Isiah panicked. Then she turned away frantically, as she turned away and looked at the tablets that reminded her of the two metal tablets that was presented by her former classmate.
Then behind the altar she noticed a person sitting idly by a camp fire covered by a blanket that seemed to be made from fur reading a book comfortably, behind him stood some kind of improvised shelter, and a drying rack where pieces of meat were hanging basking in the sun to dry.
'is that Lucius?' Isiah wondered. After she got up, she made her way over where Lucius was placing himself. Not long after she moved, Lucius noticed her stature. Where he then placed the book he was reading to the side along with the blanket he had. And took off running where Isiah yelled from.
"Are you okay?!" Lucius yelled from a distance, looking happy and enthusiastic almost as if it was the first time he ever saw another human being. As he arrived where Isiah was at, he asked a question if she were fine and safe.
"I'm fine, just a small migraine after a weird dream. Did something happen? why are you so emotional and agitated?" Isiah asked in a worrying tone..
To which Lucius answered with tears forming in his eyes "ah sorry if I worried you, because its been long time since you guys woke up, you don't know how long you were asleep for. And you're the only one here thats awake besides me... "
"well as you can see I'm fine, and, where are we anyways? All I see is that altar and Trees surrounding this clearing. Along with the climate. It doesn't fit the season at all." answered Isiah in a confused state trying to understand the situation and to where they were located as of the current.
"I don't know." Replied Lucius in a serious and solemn tone. "I tried to find out where we are, but no matter how far I went, all I keep seeing is trees and tress, along with some wildlife. As I've explored these past few days and all I found is a river, a hill, and animals... I haven't spotted a single sign of civilization in each direction in the span of 10 miles. The farthest I went is some 20-22 miles down south"
"Did you try calling for help? Maybe theres cellular data here" responded Isiah now starting to feel the gravity of the situation.
"If I did, I would've. Besides have you tried opening your box yet? Maybe there's something that can help us leave and help the others. Before you ask I can't open any of the boxes, other than the one that was behind me. I think the only ones who can open these boxes are the ones they were designated to."
"Okay, I'll see what I can find" replied Isiah with panicky and solemn look. "No phone. But thankfully there's a bunch of medicine, an axe and a knife, then some first aide bags, and emergency equipment that'd normally be found in my work. Sadly phone or way of contact to the outside world..." said Isiah with downcast expression.
"thought so... Let's go back to my area, I've a spare extra place you can take shelter in, and some food if you feel hungry. I'll catch you up to whats been happening" answered Lucius in a understanding voice.
"how long have I been out for Luc? You mentioned I and probably everyone here has been sleeping for a long time so ow long have been me and the others kept sleeping here for? A couple days?" asked Isiah, relieved to hear that everything wasn't so bad.
"you might not believe it. But it's been two whole weeks." answered Lucius in a serious and grave tone. "two long ardious week."
"Two weeks?!" answered Isiah in a skeptical way doubting what Lucius said "and we're still alive?"
"yes, I know its absurd but there's some kind of energy that prevents objects from touching any of you. Not even a strand of your hair" replied Lucius.
Not long after he answered. 11 new people woke.
