Noah's room was enveloped in an icy atmosphere ever since Elijah arrived. Elijah sat on the sofa while Noah remained motionless in his seat.
"What do you want?" Noah's voice cut through the silence, laced with coldness.
"Grace..." Elijah's words trailed off as he received a text. Quickly checking it, he stood up. "I need to go. I'll come back later," he hurried toward the door, but Noah halted him.
"What's so important that you came rushing in and now want to leave in a hurry?" Noah's tone remained indifferent.
"I came because of my girl, and I'm leaving because of my girl," Elijah stated firmly, without a hint of hesitation.
"Your girl?" Noah's expression finally shifted, showing a flicker of interest.
"Why? I've already told you that I'm seeing someone. Why didn't you and Daniel believe me?" Disappointment tinged in Elijah's voice.
"Sarah?" Sarah's name suddenly blurted out from Noah's lips.
