Noah peeked through the gap in the door, his gaze falling upon Sarah who had been lying expressionless on the bed for the past two days. A heavy sigh escaped his lips as he didn't know what more he should do.
After a moment of silence, Matthew, standing beside him, sought confirmation. "Are you sure, sir?"
"Yes, I will proceed with the wedding as they wish," Noah replied.
"But you're aware that, legally speaking, your wedding with Miss Grace is not valid," Matthew emphasised, reminding Noah of the situation.
"I'm well aware of that. It's what she desires, after all," Noah smirked. "If the wedding is what she wants most, let them have it. They'll be the ones to face the consequences afterward," he stated.
Adjusting his white tuxedo, Noah cast one final glance at Sarah's motionless figure before closing the door firmly. "Let's go," he said, turning to Matthew as they made their way to the wedding venue.
