"Pathetic runt, you really think someone can save you from your fate". The hunters' teeth gleaned in the moonlight. Flakes of flesh falling to the ground like leaves.
Before his knife can puncture into the boy's skull, buzzing finds its way into his ears. His eyes catch a tiny green figure holding the dagger firmly. "Don't you dare" A grave expression dominates the usually cheerful smile.
Thunder crackles in the air as Zeus shoots forth from Blake's energy. Violently coursing into the hunters chest. Sparks and electricity begin to surge throughout. Overwhelming burns start to form internally and externally on him. Puss leaking out of every orifice. While sparks danced in the whites of his eyes.
Shadows wrap around him, forcefully coming to his aid. He escapes within them, with what was left of his decimated body, narrowly avoiding his tongue bursting in the process.
"Be aware boy this isn't the last you'll see of me. Gene Hunters always finish their harvest". The finality of his voice rings throughout the forest's darkness.
The fight finally coming to a close. Blakes mind is left on high alert, breathing in and out over the brush with death. Adrenaline formed throughout his body. An addictive rush circulates throughout him.

The system's notifications start to pile up for Blake however his first priority isn't checking his spoils instead a strange directive is felt in his mind. Lifting up his shirt, exhaling he gathers his focus. Static starts to spill out of his limb. Unusually his mind already understands what to do, extending his index finger, the searing energy makes contact with flesh.
The holes bored through his body start to seal. Heat fusing the cells back together, closing up the oozing wounds not without tears of plasma leaking down the wound. Bright red puncture marks are left in the stead of bloody holes.
"What's more scars to the collection at this point". Confused over his recent actions but not seeing any concern he moves forward to the generator building joking about his brush with death..
"Thank you Zeus, I didn't expect him to pull something like that out". Upon giving his gratitude, flashes of Pyres' lesson zap throughout his mind. "You have to be prepared for the changes of battle".
Clenching his fist, unsatisfied by the outcome, he mulls over the wisdom given to him and starts to process the effect it would have had for him.
A flick of a tab and a cigarette finds its way between his lips. "Of course, how do I always forget my damn lighter".
"Wait a minute". Putting his electric index to the end of his cigarette. Sparks transfer, heating up the tobacco.
"I'm a genius". Drawing in his smoke, the sprouting bloodlust comes to a close for him. "I really was prepared to kill him". Looking at his cigarette pondering his thoughts. The reflection of himself starts to become fuzzy. "What is happening to me?".
"Brother? What's wrong"? Concern comes buzzing into Blake's mind. Followed by a tiny green body buzzing its way up his shoulder.
"Nothing Zeus I'm…I'm just talking to myself". Trying to hide away his growing concerns he quells the forming curiosity in his brother, he starts to walk toward the generator.
"How can this be a generator building, if all functions for it are worn down and broken"? Looking closer at the date of the equipment he realizes why.
"Just what are you hiding here dad". Scanning the immediate vicinity. One thing catches his interest on the outside. A rundown subterrain elevator. "Did he use geothermal power as well"? His thoughts shoot through his synapses at the oncoming discovery.
After a couple of minutes of pressing on the control panel, they both realize this is gonna need a little bit of a jump start to get going. Putting both their hands on the outside panel of the elevator now.
"On 3 Brother" A cheeky grin goes from ear to ear on Zeus.
"3"
"You little trickster" Both of them start pouring in their energy. Sure enough in response the worn down Elevator starts to come to the top. The magnetic rails finally have enough power to bring it up from the abyssal hole near the facility.
An old worn out carriage comes to the surface for the two. "Our rides here brother". Zeus says, trying his attempt at being cool. A silver material shines bright first, making Blake remark. "Alloy stitching and high quality at that, time is gonna have a hard time claiming this"
Stepping into the worn carriage, dust, dirt and grime coat the interior of the forgotten carriage. Selecting the bottom floor. The elevator creaks back to life shaking all the detritus in the carriage.
Descending slowly at first, it gains speed. A deep low hum is heard as the speed keeps increasing. Blake having to go as far to hold on to something.
Floating a couple inches off the ground. Slam, his body meets the floor of the carriage. "Even the elevator is kicking my ass now". He says through a bloody nose.
Wiping away the discolored snot, the two of them are met with a pristine hallway. Not a smudge or blemish anywhere. A reinforced door with a deep blue shines outward.
"Alloy stitching again, how much did he spend on all this". Blues and silver dominate the corridor. "Deep carbon and refined steel. But those are so hard to even attempt to stitch together". Baffled at the display before him, his eyes can barely unlock from the otherworldly sight.
"What does that mean brother"? Confusion and curiosity exude from Zeus.
"It means this place isn't coming down anytime soon". Walking up to the door now, a small droid is shot out the side of the wall. Hovering it scans Blake over. Taking a strand of his curly black hair in the process.
The droid chirps enthusiastically at Blake. Taking away the results, it disappears back into the wall. Multiple clicks are heard rhythmically unlocking. The outside air floods into the opening.
"Master, I'm glad you're finally back". An old robotic body is hanging from the ceiling connected to bundles and bundles of wires.
"You're not the master, Who are you"? Stern curiosity dominates his tone. As the soulless eyes of the metallic body bore into Blake.
