Finishing the final touches on the new model of his Keepups. Carbon fiber coats the minimalist titanium plating. Keeping it as lightweight as possible. He wipes away the sweat with his electro limb evaporating the sweat in the process. The unusual behavior's becoming more and more natural, having less of a shock on his body now.
His efficiency is tripled by the new limb at work, motor functions and capability are something else compared to his usual flesh. Making the overall workload for him a lot less then he usually would have to go through.
Fitting the new electromagnetics the quality difference between it and the old ones are night and day. A thicker housing is used for them, alongside more surface area to emit from. He finishes it all off by spraying the edges of the new model. Applying the rubberized polymer.
The sleek black boots are finally completed. Armored material covers the whole model, the boots going up to the knees. Comfortable cotton padding to avoid blisters in the insides.
''Lets see if they can handle my energy, the last pair was falling apart''. The thought emerges through his curiosity, as he flexes his hand outward to the formed creation. Static starts to emerge from the depths of his body, manifesting down his arm as it jumps towards the target.

''I thought so, the system doesn't need me to say it. I just have to think about it and it will happen. How did you even get this level of technology dad''? His intuition at a loss for the changes the system proposes.
Immediately the new model starts to respond to this energy dump. Nano batteries becoming fully charged. Making the fuses work overtime to bear the brunt of this energy. A bright green glow emits off them.
"Looks like they're holding together, that's good". He says, however much to his dismay the fond silver keeps getting engulfed by the dominating green energy of his.
"I think it might be time I went in my own direction". Blake mutters to himself solidifying his resolve.
"Change can be a good thing". Blake says reaffirming his mind through the longing. The nostalgic color scheme of his dad is painfully removed.
"I'll have to hurry onto the arm" He says refocusing his mind just as fast as the feeling appeared.
Before he can get lost in focus he projects a Holo-screen from his watch, the time starts to loom over him. Quickly forming a text informing his sister he'll be leaving earlier than expected and not to wait up for him.
"Lovely no internet, How is Nova even connecting then"? Blake says with annoyance and envy.
"I have a personalized connection that needs to be constantly altered and adapted to make sure I don't leave a digital footprint of my existence"? Nova says coming through on the intercom sarcastically.
"Fair point, I'll have to wait till I get outside". Blake says as a sigh escapes him.
"This arm will need to be able to fill the gaps I lack for now". He says pulling up the finalized sketch for the new arm projecting the blueprint from his watch now.
Burning the sketch into his mind, he starts to gather all the necessary material. His two different arms are full with a variety of metals and wires.
"Lets see, titanium, micro batteries, carbon fiber plating, miniature tesla coil and plenty of wires. How did he even get a hold of this stuff? His attention is grabbed once again seeing a sound box.
"Why don't I use sound as well"?
"I can really mess with my opponent then, if amped enough I could achieve a sonic boom as well". Blake says as his thoughts leak out into his voice at the budding ideas.
Finally gathering together everything he needs. He gets to work, his focus taking precedence over everything.
4 hours of nonstop work flies by. Sure enough a newly formed arm is made. Fully equipped with all of the ideas Blake could fit in.
With his creation finally done, he gets a look at the final result. A black arm with highlights of silver, the carbon fiber plating reflecting the workshop's light. Followed by a port in the palm of the prosthetics hand with intricate mechanical digits.
"Thank god this time I'll actually have some joints to work with. I was struggling without the elbow and ulna" He says satisfied with his new creation.
Attaching it almost immediately his excitement gets the better of him. Starting up the arm now. Whirring of motors and servos fill his ears as robotic emulation of an arm plays out before him.
Clenching the prosthetics fist through basic muscle movement information, he slams it into the workbench. A dent is left whereas his new arm is scratch-less. "Passes the durability and signal test already"
A bubbling confidence starts to surface inside seeing the success of his creations. Being able to finally create again makes him feel a sense of peace he hasn't felt since childhood.

Notifications chime through at a rapid rate for him, the screens littering his view however before he can even process it. Nova's voice emerges on the intercom.
"I hope you've finished everything Blake, it's 8 am".
"Shit" Blake says as stress forms rapidly, the usual sense of urgency surges in response to his lacking concept of time. The system's notifications go in the back of his mind as he rushes to get everything together and leave.
"I was meant to apply for the retake. I'm going to miss the opportunity at this point if I haven't already". He says gravity pressing down on him from the forming stress.
Securing the arm in place and putting on his new Keepups he makes his way to the elevator as quickly as he can.
"Elevators all ready, good luck Blake" Nova says a flat tone hides his melancholy.
Stepping into the elevator now he looks back at his new sanctuary. "This isn't goodbye Nova I'll be seeing you again soon I just need to iron some things out".
A wide smile from Blake is seen on the base's cameras. Solace and comfort fill Nova. Blakes promise makes his new loneliness easier.
