Thinking back to Jay's name and his parents' name, Misty was confused when she heard Muckle's last name.
'I've always wondered why your last names are so different from your parent's names, but yours is just like your grandfathers."
"You mean, why is his father Leon Maldin and his mother is Sheena Alkin while he is Jay Malkin?" Misty nodded. 'Children take their father's prefix and their mother's suffix. For example, if you and Jay had a baby," he smiled mischievously while his mate blushed, "Your kids last name would be Malatto. If you and I had kids," Muckle deepened his voice and leaned into Misty, "they would be Duatto."
Misty could feel his breath at the nape of her neck, and she shivered as liquid heat spread throughout her body. She stiffened and spun in her seat to look right at the infuriating man. She thought about scolding him, but when she twisted around, Muckle made sure to stay right where he was.
