Soon they both were three glasses down each. While the man was totally fine, Amanda's vision grew blurred. She blinked several times, looking at Adam carefully.
Adam laughed a little looking at the cute girl. "Haha! Look at your face. You have such a cute smile on your face. What are you thinking about?" Adam stood up on his feet, and sat close to the girl, holding her shoulders that were swinging a little.
"I had the best birthday. So, I am just happy. I cut the cake, got gifts.... all because of you." She smiled turning to look at the Adam.
Adam smiled looking at her, and lightly touched her cheek. "You deserve to be happy Amanda. I will make sure that you are always happy."
Amanda smiled looking at the man, and she planted her head on his shoulder. "Thank you so much Adam. You are best thing that has ever happened to me. My life was hell without my parents, but you made it heaven."
