Mirages aren't able to reach their top speed though, because the intensity of the heat they exuded increase the faster they run, they will eventually burn up and die. That's not all, with the heat energy that they expend while using up energy running, they are quickly drained of their energy, and may die of hunger, but luckily for them, they have a digestive system that can digest almost anything. They are also sometimes infested with pandemics that are impossible to treat and die, all these have reduced their population drastically. Apart from being their own destruction, they are also destruction to their communities, therefore there are laws that orders them to be hunted and killed, or dissect for study. Cornarks; although there are more fascinating creatures which will be discovered more in the story, the cornarks are genuinely the strongest. These species of humans who possess godlike abilities. Now this guys are the real deal. known by only 0.5 percent of the world population, they have distance themselves from the world and have no advance technology. But still they crazy strong, their abilities even rivals that of third level gods (god levels will be explained later in the book).
