The man turned around and looked at the girl in much surprise. He did not realize that his surprise for the girl, would make her feel awkward or bad. Am I overdoing it? Is she suspecting me? Did I make it so obvious?
He smiled and pursed his lips. "It's not that. We have a royal tradition that we do not allow our employees to work on there birthdays or anniversaries. So, for today, I will cook. You can understand all the tasks that you have to do from tomorrow. It's a royal protocol, that I always follow." He smiled and looked at the girl's convinced face.
"Oh? That is really kind of you Adam. Thank you." She smiled looking at him gratefully. "Also, sorry about tomorrow. I got too much drunk and thank you for putting me to sleep safely." She nodded her head as a mark of respected.
"It is alright. It is our duty to take care of each other." He turned around, and then walked inside the dinning area.
