A day has been passes since I gained my memories. It's only a day, but I learned lot of thing living new life.
Being a girl Is hard!
I internally scream, shaking my head left and right.
The biggest obstacle is not physique nor my current health. It's that my body need more care than usual.
I need to take a shower 3 times a day and a lengthy one at that! Showering In this world is a a hassle too...
Our house got a big well that dad always replenishes every week. We do not have a dedicated bathroom Inside the main house. There's shack outside the house. A short walk away.
And let's not talk about light. When It's night, we got only a candle as light source.
I sighed as I was watching my dad watering the plants in the field.
Mother's away today as we-
"I'm home, sweetheart~"
Right on queue.
Mother walks up to me and take a sit beside.
"Uriel, do you wanted to go outside?"
"It's too dangerous!"
Out of nowhere, dad was already behind us, surprised.
Mommy smile. Her vein almost popped though.
"Wellis, she's not a bird."
Mom reminded but dad sighed and somewhat hesitating to say something.
Mom continue to convince him for a minute.
"Fine, It's worried me so much so that I couldn't think straight."
"Our little light is going out..."
He whispers to himself like a paranoid person.
Mommy turn her attention back to me.
" Now that being said, Uriel."
"Do you want to go out? There's a lot of beautiful flower and kind people outside, you know?"
Smiling playfully, she said.
Hmmmm...
This is a great opportunity actually. I could use some fresh air too as well as looking for detail about this world!
Maybe I could find some magical artifact hidden around here?
"Yes!, I wanted to go with you, mom!"
Without anymore thought, I give her an answer.
Shortly after...
"P-Please take care!"
Dad sends both of us out as he tried his best to hold his tear.
"Cry baby, haha."
Mommy jokingly whisper to me.
Holding her hand, we walk along the dirt road. It's seem that we lived In a very far away from civilization.
Everywhere I look filled with tree and field.
We passes some folk. They kiddingly greet us as we walking by.
"She's look like her mother! haha, glad she doing fine now!"
"Thank you, Mr. Ron!"
Beside from farming, there are no occupation I've seen so far.
But the people here are very kind. Always smile even under the heat of the sun.
Speaking of the sun... It's getting hard for me to breath... It's hot.
"Shall we take a break, sweet heart?"
Mom asked, crouching down and wipe a sweat on my face with her handkerchief.
I simply nod.
We're sitting on one of the tree stump with me sitting on her lap.
I could never get use doing this kind of stuff... But I'm a child so no strange, right?
"Uriel, do you feel lonely?"
I look up...
Do I feel lonely? Thinking back for that past year... Beside my parents, I've got none other.
Just like me back when I'm a dude...
I'm not good at forming a relationship with anyone... I barely got any friend to talk...
"Why the long face, dear?"
Ugh, past is past... Let's forget it.
I think I could change now In this life.
"A.. little bit."
I whisper.
"Hmmm, I'm so sorry to know that..."
She rans her hand through my hair.
"Mommy used to be so lonely too, Uriel."
"But since mommy meet your daddy, life is always eventful."
"He may be a cry baby, but he's honest, and strong person."
Her lip curl upward as she mention dad being a cry baby.
"And you, Uriel, you're our biggest joy god could ever bring us."
God, ugh, that scammer of a god...
"I'll make sure you will not be lonely!"
After break we continue to stroll around the village, meet various people and many interesting land mark.
Pot Bloom, is a village I'm living in. Under the govern of the local lord, Baron Ghist.
This world uses medieval hierarchy.
I heard some complaint regarding the lord... He's a greedy guy who taxed the villager so much that little is left for them.
But Let's keep that Information for later. I've got no use for it now.
It's almost evening and we arrived home.
"We're back!"
"Hello Mrs. Lynd!"
"Good to see you, honey."
Dad and those kids are having a chat?
"Oh, you boys come for a visit?"
Mom carries me and seat me at the table, joining them.
I sat beside the messy hair boy who glances at me again.
What's on my face, punk?!
I tilt my head.
"Hello, I'm Jason."
He Introduced himself.
His voice is a little too old for that childish face of your.
"H-Hi... Uriel, I'm Uriel."
I try my best to sound natural but It's not.
"Hey, Introduce yourself!"
Jason nudges the other boys.
"ahhhA I'm Shey!
"I am Tim!"
Shey, the brown hair with a missing teeth. Tim the curly auburn.
The three resemble … Look like they're sibling.
"Hon, we should left the kids have fun!"
Mom whispers as she drag dad out to the field, leaving me to the three.
"Soooo... Your name is Uriel, right?"
Tim leans across the table, his brow tilted up and down, giving 'The Rock' look
"Y-Yes..."
I look always.
"Nice to meet you, Uriel!"
Tim smiles as Shey followed after.
It's weird, making friend with bunch of kid! I could never do that at Earth!
The four of us have a mouthful of conversation about various topic.
Tim, 6 years old, loves knight and wanted to become one when he grew up.
Shey, also 6, a shy but intelligent yet naïve.
As for Jason, 8 years old, the eldest brother of the two, a dense but reasonable person.
It's all fun and all until I feel slight headache and start to coughing uncontrollably...
"Cough!"
"Uriel! Are you okay?"
Tim walks over to my side as well as Shey.
I couldn't say I'm alright cause It's damn hurt like right now...
"Mrs. Lynd! Mr. Well! Uriel is sick!"
I ended up stay home for 3 days recuperating.
