She wiped off the tears that was dripping from her eyes and abruptly stood up when she felt something familiar hit her. She knew something was about to go wrong the moment he left the room to wherever, but she was completely sure he wasn't going anywhere except for that ominous dark place. (the basement).
Her eyes moved across the room and to the door searching for nothing in particular and later on she found her feet tottering towards the door. She silently yanked the door opened, eyes roaming round the hallway in search of any agitation. But when she found non, she hastily moved ahead towards his study.
