She looked herself in the mirror one more time and nodded her head in satisfaction.
"Good to go..." she smiled at her reflection before walking to the sitting room where Adrian was waiting for her.
She climbed down the stairs her black pump heels making a clacking sound as she got down from the stairs. Her eyes scan the surrounding wondering where he must have gone since he wasn't in the sitting room.
Did he leave without her? Her heart hitched just by the thought of it.
"Looking for me?" she jolted lightly when she heard his voice from behind. She slowly turned around, her heart pounding loudly on her chest.
"N-no.. I was... Just looking around..." she stuttered, immediately downturning her head to avoid the way he was staring at her.
