She aimed her gun at the man's heart region, ready to pull the trigger if he tries making any move.

He has to give up when he sense the anger of the woman. He knew very well he won't dare do anything to her if he wants to stay alive, all else he wants his master to drop him off the twig.
But in the interim, the woman won't mind blowing off his heart with the pistol she always carries around. Now, he knew why his master hasn't killed her even though he hates her gut so much, he still keep her alive. Maybe because she was smart and beautiful that's why he's still keeping her alive.
