Delson decided to lie down upon the ground and began to focus on his breathing as he began to transition on meditating. He began to picture the Omni Crystal floating on a pitch black background as it radiated a soft blue glow. He watched as the blue hue of the Omni Crystal seemed to fade in and out in sync with his breathing, the light slowly becoming iridescent. He watched mesmerized by the hues of blues that began to show flecks of green, orange, pink and purple.
The Light continued to pulse with his breathing shifting slowly closer to the speed of his heart pumping. Delson watched transfixed as the crystal began growing thin tendrils that slowly snaked out towards his arms, legs, torso and forehead. He watched as the tendrils grew closer and closer. His mind felt soothed and calm as the tendrils finally connected with his body, merging with his veins and mind. He watched as his veins and vision began to pulse with the iridescent light of the Omni Crystal. The more his vision and veins pulsed with the light of the Omni Crystal, the more the crystal began to pulse a blood red color.
Ding System Notification Available. Delson hardly noticed the System Notification as he continued to be transfixed by the crystal. Watching as the red crystal began to take on the iridescent light again as his vision and veins began to have more of a red hue. The Light began to shift between his body and the crystal until the light became uniform between him and the crystal.

The Notifications of the system continued to grow and continued to go unnoticed by Delson. As Delson continued to focus on the crystal he noticed a change in the center of the Omni Crystal. Flashes of light and fire. Faces of people he recognized. Distant memories from the dark recesses of his mind, memories suppressed and hidden to help him keep moving forward. He watched as flashes of his past kept playing on a loop in front of him, dazed and confused. Thoughts began to creep into his mind as Delson began to wonder why those memories were playing on a loop. Wasn't it bad enough to go through the trauma in the first place? Why did this crystal bring those into his mind? Who was Tel-Nu? Did he have a grudge against the human race? Against Him?
Delson couldn't understand what was happening. He couldn't fathom how the crystal had access to those memories. So incredibly crystal clear. A snapshot in time. It was poetic in a way. His whole life he spent wanting what those around him had. Wanting a normal family that actually loved him. He wanted food that tasted good, clothes that looked cool, and so much more. Before the apocalypse, for a brief moment, he had that. He was a part of a successful corporation, The richest people in the world, Core 7 Corporation, and he was one of the 7 CEOs. Only to have it all taken from him when the earth began to break apart. Those were the good days, Delson thought. I was on top of the world, and now I am nothing but a street urchin again. My oh my how the mighty fall. Delson fell into the current of his mind, visiting the good and bad of his past as time passed on, quickly arriving at the 12 hour mark.
Ding Quest completed: twelve hours of meditation are finished.
Ding Reward available.
Do you accept the reward? Yes or No.
Ding Hidden Quest completed: Build training facility.
Ding Chain Quest Available: Do you accept the path of kindness? Yes or No.
The notifications brought Delson back from his meditation vision. Slowly Delson opened his eyes. Was that a dream? What was the point of seeing that? Hadn't he suffered enough? Delson thought to himself. As Delson sat up he noticed he felt a little better. He couldn't quite put his finger on the change. "System?" Delson asked.
"Yes Delson?" The system responded. "Is this a dream? None of this is real right? It's just a sick joke that my mind is playing on me, right?" Delson asked. "No, Delson this is reality." the system reassured Delson. A single tear ran down Delson's cheek. Delson wiped the tear away, a little surprised by it. He hadn't shed a tear in a long, long time.
He looked at the system notifications in front of him. He saw he had a reward available. Right as he was about to tell the system to accept the reward he noticed the second question. Chain Quest Available: Do you accept the path of kindness? Yes or No?
"Uh, Path of Kindness? What is that?" Delson thought. The Path of Kindness: an option quest that activates the path of Kindness. Become the Paragon of Kindness to complete the quest. Quest Reward: A gift that you need most. The system updated the description for the quest as he thought about it. "Cryptic much?" Delson said aloud. "Sorry Delson but that is all I am allowed to do." The system said. "Unfortunately I am not allowed to help you make a decision on this." Delson thought for a bit. Cryptic description, my system won't tell me about it or maybe it just can't? Delson thought. "Hey system, how long do I have until I have to decide on the chain quest?" Delson asked. Silence answered Delson instead. Delson sighed and refocused on the ability reward for now. I accept the reward for now. And option popped up as Delson said this.
Ability Reward: Double Future Stat, Experience and item rewards, Or Receive an important gift for an unknown future situation? As Delson looked at the options he immediately went with the Double Future rewards option.
"Confirm the reward please." The System said.
"I confirm my option, System," said Delson.
Reward Granted. Delson repaired the living room in his mindscape. As he laid down on the couch he said "System I am going to meditate for a bit longer I need to sort my thoughts for a bit I think."
"Alright Delson" Responded the System
