Chapter 2 - Karma really is a bitch.

"GIVE US THE MONEY YOU OWE US, YOU SCUMBAG." yelled the main attacker as he punched Delson in the torso. Unable to fight back because his arms were being held behind him, he decided to stir the pot a little.

"Who are you?" Delson asked.

A punch to the side of the head.

"Fuck, Stop pun-" Delson tried to say.

Another mean hook to the side of the head.

"Buy a guy a drink firs-"

[Fuck that hurt, you sick, twisted, pretentious imp. A kick to the groin. Really! What the fuck. These guys have no class. 3 vs 1, and I can't even fight back because twiddle dee and twiddle dum over here are restraining my arms] Delson thought.

"Shut the fuck up and answer the damn question, you piece of shit." his attacker hissed. "That's a little hard to do," Delson spat back. "Why is that hard to do, prick?" demanded his attacker. "You didn't ask a question." replied Delson

Another fist to the side of the head. Hard enough to make Delson's vision fade slightly.

"He's not wrong there, Jecker," said twiddle dee. "Yeah, he's not wrong, Jecker," repeated twiddle dum. "Who the FUCK asked you two?" exclaimed Jecker. "No one, Jecker." said twiddle dee. "Yeah, no one, Jecker." repeated twiddle dum.

Jecker glared at Delson. "WHAT NOW!!!" he shouted. "I was going to say if you stop punching me, we could figure something out before twiddle dee and twiddle dum interrupted." Delson replied.

"That's not our names, Idiot!" yelled twiddle dee. "Yeah, that's not our names, Idiot!" repeated twiddle dum. "The name's Tecker, and this is Decker, and that is Jecker," said Tecker. "Yeah, the name's Tecker, and this is Decker, and that is Jecker," repeated Decker. "Both of you shut up." said Jecker.

Jecker looked back to Delson. "What the fuck is the matter with you. You owe us money for the metal scrape you stole from our property." Delson suddenly realized who these idiots were. They were from the scrape yard. [ How the hell did these 3 figure out I took anything out of the scrape yard. The guard checked my bags when I left and cleared me to leave. There is no functioning camera's left to use for a cctv. and even if there were, I didn't see any installed. There's no way they found out I threw parts over the fence that I needed for my project, Delson thought. "Big brother caught you red-handed as you were picking things up that you threw over our fence." said Jecker.

"Now you owe us 42 units worth of money," Jecker said. "42 units? But that's more than I get in 3 months, Jecker. Look, let's say 12.5 units for the scrape and 1.5 for the hassle. And then you cover my medical bill because I am pretty sure you broke a few ribs and my nuts during your little punching session. What do you say?" Delson said with a look of "serious" concern. Jecker looked over Delson with a bit of concern.

[Legally, he was allowed to rough him up. However, he was not allowed to break or crack bones or cause permanent maiming in any way during a rough up. If he did break or crack this shit bag's ribs, they would be out much more than 42 units, which was already a price gouge as the amount of scrape this shitbag stole was only worth 6 units. That's not to mention if he damaged his testicles as that has a huge fine in the sectors. Due to the dramatic drop in the world population, injuries cause by maiming, fighting, or anything not caused by accidents to reproduction organs would be time in the jail and a minimum fee of 100,000 units.] thought Jecker.

Jecker glared at Delson and said "fine but we are only going to deduct the rest of the 42 and call it even." Delson looked up at Jecker. "But we both know that if you injured my nuts, then you owe me at least 100,000 units." Delson smiled up at Jecker. "Fine, I'll give you 1,000 units to not mention that I hit you there. We both know you're fine, you little sleaze bag." snarled Jecker. Delson made a face like he was thinking really hard. "I guess that would be okay. I still should get these ribs checked out thought. I am pretty sure they are broken." Delson said. Then, almost as an afterthought, "They are definitely going to think I got roughed up at the apothecary." Delson added. Jecker was turning red in the face by now. "Alright you little smart mouthed fucker. 2,000 units, keep the blasted scrape, and you don't go to the apothecary. Deal?" Delson's eyes lit up. "Deal!" Delson said. Jecker motioned for Decker and Tecker to let Delson go. Jecker handed 2,000 units to Delson and left with Decker and Tecker.

Delson quickly disappeared from the alley where the 3 had managed to corner him and after taking a few special routes returned to his hide out. After unlocking the mechanism that hid the door, he slipped into the dark confines of his den only to trip over a large rock. Delson cursed because he knew that nothing should be in here. Nobody had tampered with his mechanism. He quickly resecured the mechanism that hid the door and lit a few candles. In the dim light, he saw a large crystal laying on the ground. Delson picked it up and took a closer look at it. As he was turning it this way and that it suddenly flashed brightly and Delson fell unconscious.
