Chapter 19 - Deserved Pain

/Eliana's POV /

"You're late," a deep voice stopped me as I was going to the kitchen.

"So you're controlling me now?" I tilted my head, staring back at him.

"I'm not controlling you, I was just concerned," he uncrossed his arms.

"It didn't sound like it, though," I went to the fridge and took some juice out. As I was pouring it into my glass, I felt two strong arms around my waist. He then rested his head on my shoulder tightening his grip on my waist. I was wearing a crop top so I could feel his coldness on my skin.

"I'm sorry, Amorina," he kissed my neck. "I didn't mean to make you upset," he looked up at me while his head was still on my shoulder.

"I'm tired," I removed his hands and went to my room.

"I made your favorite," he shouted but I ignored him. When I got inside my room, I went straight to the bathroom. I stripped in there before turning the shower on. The warmness of the water rolled down my body and I felt all my stress leaving my body. I let it be for a moment, closing my eyes to escape this harsh reality.

***Flashback***

"Welcome home, Regina," I crossed my legs on her chair spreading my arms.

"What are you doing here?" she glared at me as she point the gun towards me.

"What do you think?" I tilted my head, sipping the wine I got in her house, "Your wine tastes like you, cheap and nasty," I spit it out.

"You know what? I'm just going to call my boyfriend," she took her phone out, "He was dying to send you to jail," she gave me an arrogant smile.

"Great, while you do that, can you tell him why you were mad the other day? I mean he is getting on my nerves," I dropped the wine on her floor.

"What do you want from me?" she frowned her brows as she tightened her first.

"Remember what I told you on the phone?" I took slow steps towards her. "No one in your family will survive!"

"I don't care!" she said, gritting her teeth. "You can kill every single one of them!"

"I knew you would say that," I twisted my head.

"Then you know you won't get anything from me," a sly grin was playing on her lips as she said that.

"I'm not talking about your 'family', Regina" I formed a quote with my fingers. "I'm talking about your family, Valentina Garcia," I tilted my head raising a brow.

"Wha. . . What are you talking about?" she let out a nervous laugh.

"You know what I'm talking about," I turned my face to her TV, "but if you don't, Maria Garcia is in one of my hospitals in Spain right now," I turned it on. An old lady was laying in a hospital bed while multiple machines are ticking beside her.

"Mama. . ." her breath hitched.

"Your whole family is there. Which means one blast will be enough to kill all of them at the same time," I looked at her with a smirk on my lips.

"Y. . . You can't d. . .do that. Many people are in there," her tears are fighting to come out,

"Do think I care?" I was amused by her question.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Come on, Vally. I told you that none of your family will survive," I rolled my eyes. "Anyways, di adiós tu la familia," I gave her an innocent smile.

"No. . . No. . ." she shook her head nervously, "I. . . I'll do anything," a tear escaped her eyes.

"Great, now we are going somewhere. I thought I had to do worse," I released a fake sigh. "I heard your anniversary is tomorrow,"

"Y. . . Yeah," she was hesitant.

"I'll tell you what you need to do," I tapped her shoulder as I got out. I then went to Leonardo's apartment and knocked on his door. It took him a few knocks before he opened. His lips curved upward as he saw me before he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What a pleasant surprise," he finally broke the hug. "Come in," he said as he held my hand guiding me inside. His house was kind of a mess. Papers all over the floor, his table, and his couch.

"Finals?" I asked looking around.

"No, project," he smiled collecting his papers.

"Let me help," I took the papers.

"It's okay,"

"I insist," smiling at him, I sat on the floor trying to understand what the project was about. He sat in front of me and he was staring at the papers I was holding.

"Don't you want a glass?"

"Are you calling me old?" I narrowed my eyes.

"No, it's because I see you wearing glasses when you're in your office,"

"It's when I work on computers, baby," I smiled and shifted my attention to the papers.

"And you look cute on them," he whispered enough for me to hear.

"Fine then," I took my glasses out putting them on. "Better?"

"Much better," he said taking the papers from my hand.

"Hey I—" he pressed his finger on my lips.

"I know you want to help, but I need a break," saying that, he laid me on the floor and wrapped his hands around my waist. "and this," he said burying his face inside my neck.

"I need something from you," I said playing with his hair.

"What is it?"

"I'll tell you tomorrow," I wrapped my hands around his shoulders. He gave me a simple nod before closing his eyes.

***Flashback End***

"Amorina," I heard Edoardo say with a knock on the bathroom door. "Dinner is ready," he continued since I wasn't replying. I rinse myself for five minutes before coming out. He was at the door but I just ignored him and went to my closet taking my pajamas out. He didn't try to stop me, he simply moved back so I could go out.

"Dinner," he slowly said, scared of my response.

"Not hungry," I put some lotion on my body before putting my clothes on. I then went to bed turning to the opposite side of him. He let out a loud sigh as he lay beside me snickering his arms around my waist.

"Please, Amorina." He tightened his grip around my waist. "Stop ignoring me," his hands slowly moved inside my shirt touching the bare skin on my stomach. "please," he pressed me onto him. This the whole time I wasn't carefully listening to him. I was just not here. "I'm sorry," he whispered on my neck as his grip on my waist tightens. I closed my eyes to make him think that I was sleeping and thankfully, it worked. "Good night," he said after leaving a soft kiss on my shoulder.

***Flashback***

"I can't do this!" Regina stood up after slamming my table. I called her to meet me in my office since it was the only place where we can talk in peace. But I guess I was wrong.

"Why not? It's not like this is your first time," I leaned back on my chair with a knowing smirk playing on my lips.

"It's our anniversary, I can't hurt him like that," her lips shrank.

"Drop that act, honey. You are the same girl who tried to seduce his enemy's fiancé,"

"He won't bare it, Eliana. He will die! He experienced the exact same thing five years ago!" she raised her voice slightly.

"You should have thought about that before starting a war with me. And don't pretend that you care about his feelings. Cause if you did, you would have closed your legs properly," I raised a brow making her quiet, "That's what I thought," I gave her a smile

"Okay, am I doing it with a random guy you choose?" she crossed her arms frowning her brows.

"No, it's the guy you always sleep with," I shift my attention to my computer.

"Why are you doing this to him?" this question made me freeze at my spot. But I quickly shrugged it off.

"We should leave now, I'm sure we don't want him to be disappointed by finding an empty apartment," saying that I got up from my chair and put my coat on before leaving.

When we reach her apartment, the guy was already waiting there. I told them to get into her room the moment Leo texted me that Riccardo was coming to us and went to the other room to hear the drama.

Not long after, the front door was opened. My heart was beating fast for some reason which was not excitement. Moments later, I heard slow footsteps towards the bedroom next to mine and before I knew it, it was cracked open.

"Really? Then, explain!" I heard him shout after a second of silence.

"It's not what it looks like," she replied, trying to sound as soft as possible

"It's not what it looks like!" he scoffed unbelievably, "What is it then?!" he continued his investigation like a real detective. I couldn't hear her voice this time

"What accident?! Huh?!" this shout made me flinch a bit but I quickly connected my ear back to the wall.

"Did he force you into this?"

'Poor thing, he doesn't want to accept reality,' I thought with a sly grin on my lips.

"What are you talking about?" the guy spoke.

"Did he?" he seriously doesn't want to believe.

"N. . . No," she answered.

"Then what accident are you talking about?! Did a plane crash and you landed on his dick?!" this almost made me laugh. "It's our anniversary, Regina. It was supposed to be a great night. I planned

everything for tonight. I even bought a ring for you," his voice was caller than before.

"How sweetly stupid," I whispered.

"We can fix this," it was her.

"Cheating is not an accident, Regina. It is a choice," he said in a tone that hold disappointment. "And it had a consequence that broke the trust that I built for three years in million pieces. We can't fix it," with that, everything went silent. I assumed that he might be gone so I went out of the room. He was already gone and Regina was crying on the floor. The guy was trying to calm her down but it wasn't helping.

"What an act!" I clapped for her.

"See what you did?!" she said gritting her teeth while getting up from the floor. "You hurt him!!"

"No, YOU hurt him. Don't try to turn the tables. I didn't make you cheat. You were Cheating on him," I smiled before leaving.

"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO HIM?!" she kept shouting but I already left.

***Flashback end***

'Because he deserved it,' I thought before closing my eyes to sleep.
