Luna carefully folded the note and slipped it into her pocket, trying to control the trembling in her fingers. She couldn't deny that the idea of meeting Damian made her uneasy.
'Doesn't he have something to do with 'Isabella'?' She asked herself, remembering the position she met them in at the cabin.
But still, she couldn't ignore the fact that the note might contain information that could help her. Luna needed to know what Damian was up to, and why he had chosen to contact her.
Rachel watched as Luna made her way to the window, her heart aching with worry. She knew her werewolf friend was brave, but the thought of Luna meeting Damian alone filled her with dread.
"Luna, are you sure this is wise?" Rachel asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Luna turned to face her, a determined look on her face. "I need to know what he wants," she said. "And I can't risk putting anyone else in danger."
