Chereads / The FORBIDDEN FLOWER / Chapter 4 - Wolf in the Trap

Chapter 4 - Wolf in the Trap

Army Camp in the South.

The army camp was heavily guarded in the middle of the night. The soldiers had been on high alert since the day before due to the arrival of the princess. They were glad and proud that they were able to fight the battle under her. She was respected as a celestial princess, yet she came to this hellhole, joining hands with them. That was what people liked about her. She was not only respected for her noble status, but also for her courage and willingness to put her own life at risk in order to protect her people. Her selfless act of bravery and loyalty was highly commendable and made her even more beloved by her people. Her exemplary leadership and selflessness demonstrated in battle made her a beloved and respected leader, admired for her strength and courage even in the direst circumstances.

In the center of the camp was a luxuriously built tent. A figure moved around in the dark, expertly gliding around the patrols. His movements indicated that his target was the center of town, where the princess was sitting. Assassinating the princess would bring them honor as well as unimaginable wealth. The werewolves were sure that they would not be able to overcome her, so the only thing they could do was try to kill her before the battle. They believed that if the princess were to die, the morale of their enemies would drop and their chances of victory would increase. They also hoped to gain a great reward for the successful assassination.

He was tasked with the mission because he had completed all his missions. He glided along the tents and finally reached the middle of the camp. He tiptoed and silently entered the tent without making any sound. Being a werewolf comes with advantages such as high hearing and reflexes. He could sense that there was nobody else present in the tent other than the figure lying on a cot in the middle of the tent. After moving near the figure, he watched for any movement, but after a glance at her, he was left in a daze. She lay still, her long locks of brown hair cascading over her shoulders and back, her fair skin reflecting the moonlight streaming in from the entrance of the tent.

The figure in front of him was exceptionally gorgeous. Her face was like carved jade. Her long smooth hair spread behind her. He noticed that she was wearing a robe and that her neck and her long legs were visible. His heart raced as he noticed the beauty in front of him, captivated by her delicate features and perfect physique. He felt that he could not breathe for a while. He felt as if he was under a spell, unable to take his eyes off her for even a moment.

Even among the females present in their kingdom, none came close to her. Her long legs, perfectly chiseled navel, as well as the shape of her figure, were clearly visible through the robe. She was the epitome of beauty, grace, and poise - a vision of perfection that left all who beheld her awestruck. Her grace and elegance made her stand out from the rest, making her the envy of all other women.

He swallowed, and the fire of lust burned in his eyes. The desire welled up between his thighs. He could enjoy her before killing her. He wanted to savor her beauty and grace, possess her completely before snuffing out her life.

Thinking about fucking the most beautiful person in the world made him muddleheaded. As he approached the figure, his hand stretched towards the two mountains, rising and falling with her breath. The lecherous grin on his mouth deepened as he reached out, despite the fact that he could not move his hands any closer. His fingers trembled as he realized his dream was finally within his grasp.

There was someone behind him, and a very cold aura swept over him. His hands trembled and his face turned shabby. This was a trap and he fell right into it. The desire in him controlled him for a minute and now his life was over. The figure in front of him opened her eyes slowly. Seeing the man with his arms extended, she was very calm. Taking a moment to properly wear the robe, she stood up and slowly put it on. The man's heart sank as he realized that he had been ensnared. He had been so overcome with desire that he could not think clearly and had walked right into this trap. Now, as the figure in front of him slowly opened her eyes and began to dress herself, the man knew that his fate had been sealed.

She stood up slowly and her grace made the already majestic figure even more charming. With each move, he felt himself falling deeper and deeper in love and knew he would never be able to walk away. She looked forward to the figure standing behind the man in front of her.

"Ezra, don't kill him yet." We need to know who betrayed us. I want to know who has the guts to betray me. Find out which faction it is and kill them. I don't need anyone who helps my enemies. "Track down whoever is responsible, and I will have my revenge," Ezra vowed. "No one will get away with betraying us."

She was calm as a lake as he sentenced hundreds of people to death.

Erza Petrov kneeled down and patted her chest. She was the princess's subordinate from a very young age. Growing up with the princess, she was also sent to the battlefield with her. She knew that although the princess was known for her love towards her citizens, to her enemies she was ruthless. She could kill them without batting an eye. Erza admired the princess' strength and courage but was aware of her ruthless attitude toward those who opposed her.

"Yes, my princess." It is as you suspected, as soon as you arrived here, information was sent out to the enemy camp by someone, and they prepared this plan to kill you."

Teron was terrified as he looked at the ladies, who were talking to each other like he was not there. He could not move his arm. The woman in armor, Erza, was just standing there. Her aura enveloped him like a shield. He could not move, even if he wanted to. This was something he had never experienced before. This was absolute power. He swallowed and closed his eyes, imagining his death.

Angela walked towards the throne located to the side and sat down gracefully. Angela's aura was so overpowering that it felt like an invisible force was pressing down on him, making it impossible for him to move. He realized that he had no way of defending himself against such a powerful opponent and even the thought of death seemed like a more attractive option. Angela then seated herself on the throne and surveyed the scene with a look of authority, further intimidating him. In tomorrow's battle, we should win a comprehensive victory, squashing the tension between the kingdoms. They should never think about attacking us again," she snorted, and looked outside the tent.

Ezra looked at the figure sitting in front of her and gulped in terror. The aura she was giving off was nothing compared to the figure that was sitting in front of her. She could only lower her head and accept her decision.

Angela stood up and walked towards her sword. She pointed her hand, and the sword trembled and flew into her hands.

She looked at the assassin that was frozen in place in front of her.

"Werewolves are really stupid." Why would they send someone like him to kill me? She asked herself as she walked near him. Her body was gorgeous, and they chose a man out of all the people to kill her. Isn't that courting death? She started to chuckle, amused by the thought of this man being sent to take her life. She was sure she could outwit him any day.

She slashed her blade, and there was a burst of blood, and a high-pitched scream came out of his mouth. He collapsed onto the ground, and she felt a wave of relief wash over her. She had managed to survive, but it also made her realize how dangerous the situation was. She had to be more careful in the future.

One moment he could see the beautiful figure in front of him in all its glory, and suddenly the world became black. His eyes were slashed by the princess. He gasped for air, his vision blurring, and felt his body collapse to the ground. He lay there, in a pool of his own blood, unable to move or speak. He had been defeated by the princess, and his life was now over.

He screamed loudly but was soon stopped by the girl in armor. The princess looked down on him in pity. She whispered something in his ear, and with that, he closed his eyes for the last time. His body lay still and lifeless on the hard, cold ground.

"You shouldn't have used your filthy eyes to look at me." That is an unpardonable sin," Angela said as she shook off the blood from her blade. Sheathing her sword, Angela turned away from the lifeless body and walked away, leaving behind the silence that only death can bring.

Men always overestimate themselves. There is not a man in this world who can tame this princess. "I have been taught to never show mercy," she muttered under her breath. "I will never allow anyone to control me." With that, Angela vanished into the night.
