After traveling through the trees, Seth finally got to the lair. The beast was still someplace in the forest wrecking havoc looking for its child. He had to say he really shouldn't be angry with Sin; after all, the fool brought him an even greater opportunity, but of course he was well aware that very soon the beast would give up and come back to its home, which means he had a short window of opportunity and he had to grab it.
Not wasting anymore time he dashed into the hidden cave, immediately he entered he was attacked with an assault pungent odor wafted into his nose, the smell was so bad it caused him to go dizzy for a moment, after a split second he regained his senses holding his breath he carried on with his search, even though it was inconvenient because the smell irritated his eyes causing it to water, he gritting his teeth he persisted with his search, the cave wasn't as deep as one would expect it was quite shallow, around the edges were feces which could explain the smell everything looked too normal it looked just like any beasts lair, and that's where the problem lay this wasn't just any beast, this was a ground dragon an extremely talented one at that, one that took just three years to ascend from a master to saint.
He remembered when an elder slayed a saint beast, the bowling mamba, it was said that the natural force treasures that were gathered in its layer were enough to push two priests to elder level figures, that alone spoke volumes of how much beasts love hoarding natural treasures. Suddenly he had a thought, "It couldn't be that it ate everything it saw during these last three years." Shaking his head, he could only dismiss this thought, it was common knowledge that it took time to absorb force from natural treasures, unless one had a technique, and he saw no way a beast could come upon such knowledge, which means something is wrong; there had to be more to this cave than meets the eyes.
It was then that Seth's eyes uncontrollably wandered to the edge with the most concentrated amount of feces. "No, you have to be kidding me, that damn beast. I'll make sure to make you into a nice delicacy when I'm strong enough." Seth went towards it as he cursed. When he was close enough, he noticed a small, inconspicuous opening deep within it. It was small, but it was nothing his small frame couldn't squeeze into. Taking a deep breath that threatened to knock him unconscious, he could only leave it to his good luck. As he squeezed his way through the shit, Seth almost felt like crying. No scrap that he was already crying. He was walking through practical shit to get what he wanted.
After crawling through the tunnel for some minutes he finally got to the other side, what he saw there stunned him beyond words, the level of concentration of force was so thick enough to be seen visibly, there was even a pool of pure concentrated force in front of him, this alone was enough to drive any one of the elders mad, not to talk of all the plants and ores he could see lying around, taking a deep breath he stilled his mind, these things were not his reason of coming here, he can as well come back here to get them when he was strong enough, looking at his target it was there the tablet it hadn't been damaged nor had it lossed it's power as he had feared, it was just there swirling in nothing it's surrounding was still void as when he first saw it.
Not wasting anymore time he went over to the edge of the tablets domain, positioning his self well he jumped for it, if his observation was correct immediately the beast touched the tablet the void around it seemed to vanished, so he was betting on the same thing happening to him, luckily for him Lady luck was on his side, immediately he touched it the void vanished, gazing at the tablet he smiled, but it seemed that he rejoiced to late, the whole cave went still all of a sudden, then the walls of the cave started rippling as though it was liquid, knowing what was happening and not daring to waste a second more, Seth took out a talisman something he stole from a very good uncle of his, he knew he was coming for a suicide mission, of course had to plan a are way out.
Ripping the talisman into two, runic patterns began to appear around his feet, yes that's right his uncle was a tier 3 crafts man and he stole a spatial ticket, the problem is that the damn thing takes 6 seconds to activate, he jumped into the pool of force to buy himself more time, hoping the beast would assume he had left, but unfortunately not everything goes ones way, after all think about it, the beast had a hidden cave a safe hidden Heaven, then why would it lay it's egg out in the shallow layer, where it was less safe, the answer was plain and simple no it didn't, well it did in a way but have you ever seen a lizard lay one egg?, after all as glorified as a dragon is it was still a very powerful mutated lizard, the answer was simple it put one egg outside and then it put the rest in the safer cave, now where in the cave could it place it that could hatch it without the presence of the mother, it was precisely the pool in which our poor main character jumped into.
which is to say that if he just waited in place for the teleportation rune to be completed, he would have escaped safely, but immediately he entered the pool, what did he see? He saw eggs and a very angry mother dragon emerging from the ground.
