Chapter 2 - "Why's everybody snickering?"

"Why's everybody snickering?" I heard a voice say, I look towards the lounge room entrance way and saw auntie Gen and uncle Jared, grinning at us, and they were correct they matched in hazier varieties.

"Gen! Aunt!" I yelled, jumped to my feet, and ran to her before tackling her to the ground in a hug. We laughed as we got back up, adjusted our dresses, and pushed our hair out of our faces.

"Where is my embrace?" With a lopsided grin, Jared inquires of me. As I pretend to start walking past him, I just shrug my shoulders, and I hope his jaw drops a little in mock shock. But as I was passing him, I turned and jumped on his back, causing him to stumble as he tried to get back on his feet. I laughed as he wrapped his hands around me to keep me from falling.

"Hello, Jared's Uncle." I said, slightly chuckling at the fact that I had jumped on the enormous moose's back and caused him to stumble a little.

"Now if you're all prepared, we need to get started; the premiere is in about an hour and a half, and you still need to take photos with the cast and press." After ensuring that everyone had everything they needed, Lily led us outside to the car by making a shooing motion with her hands and pointing in my direction.

When we got outside, I didn't see any cars; instead, there was a black stretch limo with a police car in front and behind it. When I saw the limo, my jaw dropped, and my family started laughing.

"Oh, my god!" I said this, still in awe of the scene in front of me, and then I remembered that there were police cars on either side of the limo, so I turned toward Philip. My mother must have thought the same thing, because she also turned to Philip.

"Is this your evening's work?" He smiled at us as we asked him in unison while raising our eyebrows.

"Well, I'm not going to let my daughters attend the premiere without a little bit of style," When I first met Philip, one of the many things I found amusing was that he spoke with a full Scottish accent. I tried to imitate his accent a few times, but everyone would laugh because I typically sounded more Irish than anything else. However, I have improved.

"Wait, who's in the cars?" I asked. I inquired while looking at the two police cars. I hope it isn't Toby; I don't mean to offend him, but he finds it fascinating to talk for hours about rocks. However, he usually makes me fall asleep after a few minutes of talking about the differences between granite and quartz.

James and Elliott Duncan are twins who are originally from Australia but moved to London when they were around 12 years old. Now they work with Philip and they are usually the two I hang around with when Philip takes me with him when he has no choice but it is only when they aren't there that I have to stay with Toby. I ran to the cars as best I could in heels and saw James Duncan in the car behind the limo. I then ran to the other car and saw Elliott Duncan in that one. James and Elliott

"Indeed, it's the twins!" The others laugh at me, knowing exactly what I was thinking, as I exclaim to them while doing a little wiggle dance of happiness and gratitude that it is not Toby.

"Rose, glad to see you as well." James guffawed quietly to himself as if waiting for something to happen, Elliott said, getting out of his car and giving me a hug.

The adrenaline of my excitement for the premiere has now reached full strength, and I am currently lightly bouncing from foot to foot.

"Can we get going right now, before I get too excited!?" John, who was attending the premiere for the first time, was now imitating my exclamation as I continued to hop from one foot to the other.

"Get in the car; Philip and I will travel in the escort cars, and then we can move this show." Lily said as she made her way toward the car James was riding in with his twin. Elliott and Philip left for the other car, and the rest of us crowded into the limo, with me being the first to board.

Once I got into the limo, however, I had the scare of a lifetime when I saw an actor named Jeffrey Dean Morgan sitting in front of me and saying, "Hey, sweetheart," smirking at the shock on my face. He laughed, presently you might be confounded on how I know Jeff.

I had met the cast and crew when I was on a press tour for the film and stayed with uncle Jensen, and he worked on a show called Supernatural, which also featured my uncles Sam and Dean Winchester and Jeff Winchester as their father, John Winchester.

"J2!" I shouted at my uncles, utilizing the epithet generally everybody assembles them when they are, pivoting to watch out of the limo, glaring somewhat at both of them. " Why didn't anyone inform me that Jeff was coming, and why did they decide to have him frighten me to death? I asked them calmly while continuing to glare at the two, causing their eyes to slightly widen and the others to laugh.

"We thought it would be a nice surprise, an additional person to be there to boost your confidence," they said. After Jensen and Jared gave me a small smile, I moved out of the way, let everyone into the limousine, grandfather being last, and shut the door.

(Seating from the side closest to the door: Jeff, Serena, Anya & John, Gino, Danneel, Jensen, Jared, Gen, Mark, and William) After the door closed, the limo started driving the hour and a half to the premiere. As soon as we started moving, I looked at uncle Jensen and noticed that he started to look at me as well. He noticed that I was still a little nervous, so he lifted his phone and aux cord, I nodded at him, and he

Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" was the first song to play. We both looked at each other and started humming along to the music right away. At the same time, Jeff's phone beeped and started recording us both.

Uncle Jensen began singing along with Billie Joe's voice as I continued to hum along. "I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes But it's only me, and I walk alone"

I sang along while closing my eyes in an effort to calm my nerves, "I walk this empty street On the boulevard of broken dreams Where the city sleeps And I'm the only one, and I walk alone."

"I walk alone, I walk alone, I walk alone, and I walk a My shadow is the only one who walks beside me My shallow heart is the only thing that is beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me Till then I walk alone" We both started to get into the music, smiled at each other after the chorus, and we both sang along.

Uncle Mark came in to do this part and said, "Ah ah ah ah ah Ah ah ah," which made Jeff laugh. I looked over to him and laughed as well.

I sang again while closing my eyes to get into the song's mood: "I'm walking down the line that divides me somewhere in my mind On the borderline of the edge And where I walk alone."

Uncle Jensen sang, "Read between the lines What's f****d up and everything's all right Check my vital signs to know I'm still alive and I walk alone," but he didn't curse because John was in the car with us and we didn't want him to start cursing yet.

"I walk alone, I walk alone, I walk alone, and I walk a My shadow is the only one who walks beside me My shallow heart is the only thing that is beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me Till then, I walk alone," we both sang once more, smiling as we sang in tune with one another.

Uncle Mark said, "Ah ah ah ah ah Ah ah ah ah," once more.

"I walk alone, a I walk this empty street On the boulevard of broken dreams where the city sleeps and I'm the only one, and I walk alone My shadow is the only one who walks beside me and my shallow heart is the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me until then I walk alone." As everyone else cheered and John clapped, the three of us sang together to finish the song, smiling at each other.

We all looked at Mark after he paused the next song, "Hips Don't Lie," by Shakira. He was embarrassed that his obsession with Shakira had been exposed, which made us all laugh a little as Mark took his phone and started the song again, smirking at me, thinking that I wouldn't sing it in both English and Spanish.

He was wrong about that.

This time, Uncle Jared sang, "Ladies up in here tonight No fighting We got the refugees up in here (no fighting) No fighting Shakira, Shakira." Meanwhile, Uncle Gino held his arms in front of Mom, his hand pointing at me and Aunt Elta, which made us all laugh a little.

Uncle Jensen sang, looking at me, "I never really knew that she could dance like this She makes a man want to speak Spanish Como se llama (si) Bonita (si) Mi casa (Shakira, Shakira), su casa," with uncles Jared and Gino serving as the background men.

"Goodness child when you talk like that

"You make a woman go insane, so be wise (si) and keep on (si) reading the signs of my body (uno, dos, tres, and cuatro) and I'm on tonight you know my hips don't lie and I'm starting to feel it's right All the attraction, the tension, Don't you see baby, this is perfection" was the song that I sang with my uncles doing the backing Spanish at the appropriate times, and we all smile

"Hey Girl, I can see your body moving and it's driving me crazy (uh huh) and I didn't have the slightest idea Until I saw you dancing (yeah) and when you walk up on the dance floor Nobody cannot ignore The way you move your body, girl (just move) and everything so unexpected, the way you right and left it So you can keep on shaking it I never really knew that she could dance like this She makes a man want to speak Spanish Como se ll

"Oh baby, when you talk like that You make a woman go mad So be wise (si) and keep on (si) Reading the signs of my body (no fighting) And I'm on tonight you know my hips don't lie (no fighting) And I am starting to feel you boy Come on let's go, real slow Don't you see baby asi es perfecto They know I am on tonight My hips don't lie and I am starting to feel it's

J2 and Gino sang "Baila en la calle de noche Baila en la calle de da" in perfect Spanish and syncopated.

I sang, "Baila en la calle de noche Baila en la calle de da," imitating my uncles' moves and giggling slightly.

"She makes a man want to speak Spanish." "I never really knew that she could dance like this." "Como se llama (si) Bonita (si) Mi casa (Shakira Shakira), su casa" My uncles sang once more in perfect sync with one another.

I sang, "Oh baby, when you talk like that, you know you got me hypnotized. So be wise and keep on Reading the signs of my body," to uncle Mark as I looked at him. I was shocked because I knew the entire song and thought he was wrong to play across his face.

Uncle Gino smiled as he sang, "Seorita, Feel the conga, let me see you move like you come from Colombia."

Speak it: "Mira en Barranquilla se baila as!" I sang, pointing over to my uncles once I had.

"En Barranquilla se baila as" was copied by all four of them in perfect unison.

"Yeah, she's so sexy that every man's dream is a refugee. Like when I was with the Fugees who were from a third-world country, I go back to when Pac carried crates for Humpty, Humpty. We need a whole club to get dizzy and ask, 'Why the CIA want to watch us?' Haitians and Colombians "I ain't guilty, it's a musical transaction No more do we snatch ropes Refugees run the seas because we own our own boats (no fighting)" Uncle Jensen sang and rapped, and I eventually joined in.

I sang the final verse with a never-ending grin on my face. "I'm on tonight My hips don't lie and I am starting to feel you boy Come on let's go, real slow Baby like this is perfecto (no fighting) Oh, you know I am on tonight My hips don't lie and I am starting to feel it's right The attraction The tension Baby, like this, is perfection."

"No battling" My uncles and Jeff said as one.

"No combat." I finished the song at its conclusion. chuckling as everyone applauded the flawless Spanish spoken during the song.

"Okay, so who has been teaching her to speak Spanish fluently?" Mom, Aunt Elta, and Uncle Gino all pointed to Grandpa, who was sitting there with a grin on his face, as Uncle Mark looked around at everyone.
