The story's main premise, which is my perspective on what it would be like to be Mark's niece, is kind of implied by the title. Clearly, in actuality, Imprint is a lone kid so I just own Serena (the fundamental person), Anya (Serena's mum/Danneel's more seasoned sister), Nathaniel (Serena's father/Imprint's more youthful twin sibling), Serena's half-kin, her stepdad and her story line.
