As they walked through the halls, Hazel pointed out other hidden gems of the school, each one more impressive than the last.
Lauren and Hazel came out of the classroom, which looked nothing like it did before. Spiders, spider webs, and bats were enough to create the vibe of that abundant house in the movies.
"Students created faux bats and spiderwebs, which struck me as odd. It seemed like the school was really getting into the Halloween spirit."
Although Lauren claimed to be proud of the students' efforts and to be in awe of them, she did nothing to speak for them in this situation.
Hazel replied, "The students love going all out this time of year. It's like a competition to see who can make their classroom the spookiest."
Lauren nodded, impressed. "That's really cool. Maybe I should start participating in things like that. I feel like I haven't fully embraced school spirit yet."
