"That can't be happening, right?" I thought to myself as I looked at myself in the mirror, wearing a serious expression. "No no, it's probably just a gift from a fan."
That's right. Today, I saw my oshi idols with my merchandise. Sakura-san was wearing a gray cap with a strap featuring the chibi Kou-kun. Makiyama-san had the chibi phone case, and Masatsuki-san was wearing the merch hoodie under her uniform.
I held my head in frustration, unable to process the whirlwind of emotions swirling within me. "Argh, no way... no way... This can't be just a coincidence! Or maybe... maybe not! Argh! I can't think straight!"
Just then, Akira entered the bathroom and walked up beside me, washing his hands. "Niimi-kun, what are you doing here?"
"Akira-san, tell me... Are those transfer students?"
"Hm? Those? Oh, you mean the idols? Yeah."
"Why didn't you tell me!?" I exclaimed, covering my face with my hands and shaking my head.
"Huh? Are you serious?"
"No..."
"...So, did you meet them?" Akira's face broke into a mischievous smirk.
"Yeah..."
"Pfft, knowing you, someone who loves idols, I'm sure it was a shocking encounter, right?"
"Yes... Yes, it was... very shocking."
"Gahahaha! Well then, good luck." He still had a smirk on his face as he left the bathroom.
"Yeah, good luck to me too..."
I had to calm down. Remember, they are idols... No, actually, what if I didn't talk to them? No, that would be weird. Arghh! I have to go to class now...
I took a deep breath and slowly walked out of the bathroom, heading to my seat in the classroom.
But as I entered the classroom, I saw the three idols standing near the teacher.
"Kakeru, where have you been?" the teacher asked with a glare, while the whole class turned their attention towards me.
"U-Um, I was in the bathroom," I stammered
She sighed, "Fine, go ahead, but I'll be marking you as late." She placed the clipboard down and started writing, probably marking my attendance as late.
I quickly headed to my seat and sat down, averting my eyes to the window.
At a time like this, the scenery became my best friend. However, my attention was interrupted when the teacher called my name.
I immediately looked at her.
"Niimi Kousei, come to the faculty later.
"Huh?" I was taken aback by her sudden request.
"Don't complain and just do it."
"Now then, let's start with the introduction!"
The first girl introduced herself. She had cotton candy pink hair styled in half-up half-down pigtails, with bangs framing her face. "Hello, everyone! My name is Sakura Nanami~ I like singing and cute things! My birthday is on June 21st! Nice to meet you all!" She then bowed.
The whole class applauded for a moment.
"Okay, Sakura Nanami, you will sit beside that guy over there at the back," the teacher pointed her clipboard at me.
Eh?! Wait what!?
She then walked to her seat, placed her bag on the desk's hanger, and looked at me. "Nice to meet you!" she smiled.
I paused for a moment and replied, stuttering, "N-N-Nice to meet you too."
"I guess it's my turn~" The girl with long lavender-white hair walked forward. "My name is Makiyama Aoi! I like dancing and playing the piano! My birthday is on January 10th! Nice to meet you all~" She winked.
The whole class of boys erupted in excitement.
"Everyone, be quiet!" the teacher exclaimed as she smacked her clipboard on the podium.
Gradually, the boys in the class began to calm down.
"Now then, your seat is right there beside Sakura Nanami," she pointed at the empty seat. Makiyama walked to the seat, hung her bag on the desk hanger, and looked towards the front.
"Your turn," the teacher said to the last girl beside her.
She slowly walked up to the front and looked at us.
"M-My name is... Masatsuki Yui... I'm 17 years old. Umm, I like dancing, and umm, my birthday is on Dec 1st... that's all."
She seemed really shy... and cute too, with her big, slanted violet eyes and long black hair. I could see why she was chosen to be a model for the entertainment industry.
"Alright, you can sit there," the teacher pointed to the empty seat beside Aoi.
Yui walked to the empty seat, hung her bag on the desk hanger, and looked at the front.
"Now then, it's time to announce the schedule."
"Right now, the second semester has just started, and all of you should study hard. We will be having a lengthy quiz next Monday. Any questions?"
The class fell silent as everyone looked around, hoping someone would muster the courage to raise their hand. Unfortunately, no one did.
"Good. Now then, Niimi Kousei, come with me," she said, walking out of the classroom.
I sighed and stood up from my chair, following the teacher as we made our way to the faculty room. She took her seat and looked at me with a serious expression.
"Niimi Kousei, I heard you like idols, right?"
"Who told you that?"
"That's not important. Just answer the question."
After a moment of hesitation, I nodded. "Yes, I do. But why? You won't make fun of me right?"
"Pfft! Ahahaha. No, Not really... in fact I would give you a chance."
"Say again?"
"here's your chance. Starting now, you will be in charge of those three idols. I also want you to tutor them."
"Wait, why me?"
"Your grades are not bad," she replied, opening a folder and glancing at its contents. "Besides, isn't this a good opportunity for you?"
"But..." I looked down at the ground, feeling uncertain about the situation. Me and my 3 oshis? That would be weird especially when I'm still recovering from the part that they have my merchandise.
The teacher sighed and looked at me. "Take a chance, embrace your youth, dumbass."
I met her gaze and let out a sigh. "Alright, alright. I'll do it, but... you better give me something in return."
"Pfft~ ahahaha! Sure, go ahead."
"Good. Then we have a deal."
"Yeah, now go and handle those three."
I nodded and turned around to leave, but then she called my name. I turned back to face her.
"Don't do anything weird!"
"...I won't," I walked out of the faculty room, heading back to the classroom.
