Today is the day that LuckyStar will be performing, and I find myself in the front row, receiving special treatment from the staff. It all started earlier when I encountered a guard.
"Oh? Are you Niimi Kousei?" the guard asked, recognizing me.
"Yes, I'm Niimi Kousei... Here is my ticket." I handed it to the guard, who examined it briefly.
"Oh? I heard about you from Yui!" he exclaimed, stepping aside. "You may pass now."
As I made my way to my seat, I could hear the murmurs of the other fans.
"That guy knows Yui?"
"That can't be true, can it?"
"I'm jealous..."
As I made my way to the front-row seat, I couldn't help but notice the sharp glares from some of the other fans. Their eyes were like daggers, filled with a mix of curiosity, envy, and perhaps even a hint of resentment.
It made me feel slightly guilty that I had received this ticket for free, thanks to my Yui.
As I observed the fans around me, I noticed many of them holding glowsticks in support of their favorite members.
The vibrant colors illuminated the atmosphere, creating an energetic and lively ambiance.
However, I have also done the same but different.
I reached into my bag and retrieved the three glowsticks I had brought along. Each one represented a different member of the group, symbolizing my support for all of them.
A few minutes later, the stage lights dimmed, creating an atmosphere of anticipation. The air was filled with excitement as the crowd erupted into cheers and applause.
Suddenly, the stage lit up with a dazzling array of colors, and the music began to play, signaling the start of the performance.
Sakura, Yui, and Aoi made their entrance, their smiles radiant and infectious. Sakura took center stage, her voice soaring as she sang with passion and grace.
Meanwhile, Aoi and Yui showcased their incredible dance skills, moving in perfect harmony with the music.
The energy in the venue was palpable as the fans cheered, and clapped with the beat. The unity and enthusiasm in the crowd were overwhelming, creating an electric atmosphere that seemed to amplify the members' performance.
"My time to shine." I took a deep breath, focused, and began performing a wotagei dance, representing each color with enthusiasm and precision. As I moved in sync with the music, some fans couldn't help but take notice.
"Woah! Look at that guy! He's doing the wotagei!"
"You're right! He's really into it!"
However, not all fans shared the same sentiment.
"Bro, that's embarrassing..."
I can hear you, alright? It's embarrassing, but if it's my way to support my oshis, then I'll do it!
Sakura, Aoi, and Yui exchange glances and smiles as they notice my energetic wotagei dance.
"Wow~ Isn't that cheating, Niimi-kun?" Sakura playfully teases me in her mind while continuing to sing.
"Hmm~ So that's your unique way of supporting all of us?" Aoi remarks in her mind.
"Hehe~ Niimi-kun, it's a bit embarrassing, but thank you!" Yui expresses her gratitude in her mind.
As the final notes of the music fade away, the performance comes to an end. "Hello, Everyone!!" Sakura's voice resonates through the venue, capturing the attention of the audience.
The fans cheer and applaud, their excitement filling the air.
"I want to thank each and every one of you for being here today, Your support means the world to us, and we couldn't have asked for a better audience. We hope you enjoyed the performance as much as we enjoyed performing for you."
After that, the performance came to an end, and the three members of LuckyStar walked back to the stage, leaving behind a cloud of smoke.
As I watched them disappear from sight, I realized that it was time for me to leave as well. The exhilaration of dancing and supporting the idols had taken a toll on me, and I could feel the fatigue setting in.
I wiped the sweat off my forehead with my arm and carefully stowed the glowstick in my small bag.
I'm slightly hungry now... Eh, I'll just go to McDonald's.
I made my way towards the exit. The night air outside felt refreshing against my skin. "Mmmm, Fresh air."
I hopped onto my bike and started pedaling towards McDonald's.
As I rode through the streets, I couldn't help but replay the moments from the performance in my mind, relishing in the music, the cheers, and the vibrant atmosphere.
"It's worth it."
Finally arrived at McDonald's, I parked my bike and entered. I walked up to the counter and started ordering my food.
After completing my order, I found an empty seat and settled down, eagerly waiting for my food to be prepared. The restaurant was bustling with activity, filled with the sound of conversations and the enticing aroma of fast food.
As I sat there, I observed the people around me, enjoying their meals and engaging in lively discussions. Soon enough, a McDonald's employee approached my table and placed the tray of food in front of me.
"Niimi?"
"Hm?" I looked up at the person that called my name. She had a pink himecut with pigtails, wearing a butterfly hairclip on each side and a pink ribbon behind.
"That's my name..."
"Eh? Don't tell me you don't remember me?"
"Sorry, I don't."
She let out a sigh and sat on the other side of the table, fixing her gaze on me.
*stareeee*
"You know, I can't eat like this when you're staring at me, right?"
"I won't stop staring at you until you figure out who I am, Niimi-kun."
I paused for a moment as her words triggered something in my memory. "Hold on, can you say my name again?"
"Hm? Niimi-kun~"
I felt a sense of familiarity with that voice... She was indeed someone I knew, but it took me a moment to connect the dots.
"Nao-chan?"
Her eyes widened, and a smile appeared on her face. "Wow!~ You finally remember!"
"Yeah."
