The sound of running footsteps echoed down the hall, as the three criminals charged through the building, recklessly knocking over anyone in their path. The blaring red alarm lights signaled that the building was in a state of emergency.
"Turn right, now!" shouted the leader, gripping a suitcase tightly in his hand, as he led his accomplices around a corner.
Without warning, they were confronted by three officers, their pistols trained on the criminals.
"Stop right there!" one of the security personnel shouted, taking a shot at the ground in an attempt to intimidate them.
The criminals ignored the warning, and the lead attacker slid across the ground, quickly brandishing a sharp knife and lunging at one of the guard's jaws. The other officers reacted with panic, firing their weapons at the attacker.
However, the criminal raised the briefcase in his hand to shield himself from the bullets, deflecting them harmlessly. With a break in the gunfire, the criminal seized the opportunity and heaved the briefcase with all his strength.
The heavy case struck one of the security guards squarely in the head, with enough force to snap his neck. The remaining guard trembled with fear, uncertain how to react, as the criminals raced past him.
The chaos left in their wake was palpable, as the criminals continued their escape with the stolen suitcase, leaving a trail of destruction and terror in their wake.
Meanwhile, Ava and Mira ran out of the room when they heard the alarm, indicating to them that there were criminals in the halls.
As Ava and Mira rushed out of the room, the blaring of the alarm indicated the presence of intruders in the building.
While Mira sprinted down the hallway, Ava proceeded more cautiously, checking each room for signs of disturbance.
Suddenly, Mira's scream pierced the air. "What the hell?" she exclaimed, her face contorted in disgust as she peered into the men's bathroom.
"What is it?" Ava asked, walking over to join her.
"Hey, Ava?... Where did Yuichi say he was going again?" Mira asked, her eyes widening in alarm.
"Yuu? He said he was going to the bathroom, why?" Ava asked, entering the bathroom.
Although Ava was taken aback by what she saw, she didn't show it, instead walking out of the bathroom to face Mira. "Yuu was here… I'll-".
An urgent announcement interrupted Ava's words. "[This is to alert all Meta in the Black Owl base. I repeat, this is to alert all Meta in the Black Owl base. A Xynoin has been spotted on the 3rd floor. All personnel should take it down before there are any casualties.]"
"Damn it," Mira cursed, drawing her sword. "How did a Xynoin get in the base?".
"Listen," Ava said firmly. "I'll go look for Yuu. You find the Xynoin, and when you do, inform me, but make sure you get the team first," She said without looking back, giving no room for argument as she walked away to search for Yuichi.
Mira slammed her leg on the ground in anger before reaching for the communicator on her left ear, "Hey, guys, I'm sure you've heard the alert, let's meet up at the 3rd floor".
The group of criminals had somehow managed to evade capture and make their way down to the first floor of the building, which marked their exit point.
With a sense of urgency, they bolted out of the building and made a beeline for the large containers situated in the center of the facility.
In the midst of the containers, a sleek black SUV was waiting for them, ready to make their escape.
The leader of the group barked out orders, tossing in a briefcase before jumping into the driver's seat and inserting the key. The rest of the group followed suit, piling into the vehicle in a flurry of motion.
But their plans were quickly thwarted as the sound of gunfire filled the air, and guards began pouring out of various buildings, determined to stop the group's escape at all costs.
Panic set in as bullets whizzed past the car, and one of the criminals crouched low inside to avoid getting hit.
With a roar of the engine, the leader put the pedal to the metal and the SUV careened forward, leaving a trail of black smoke in its wake. The group erupted in laughter, thinking that they had successfully evaded their pursuers.
But their joy was short-lived as a massive gray humanoid monster suddenly appeared in the sky and landed on the back of the truck with a thunderous boom.
Without hesitation, the monster delivered a powerful blow to the back of the vehicle, sending it hurtling through the air and crashing to the side, leaving the criminals stunned and shaken.
One of the criminals was in a state of panic, positioned upside down in the tumbled truck, and exclaimed, "What the hell was that?! A Xynoin?!"
The leader, who was struggling to break out of the car before it exploded, replied, "Shit!" With a final kick, he managed to open the door and crawl out of the vehicle, braving the shattered glass on the ground.
Panting heavily, the leader was surprised that he had somehow managed to escape death after the terrifying encounter. Meanwhile, the trapped criminals continued to plead, "Boss! Get us out, it's coming!"
As the leader turned around, he was met with a horrifying sight - the humanoid monster standing only a few feet away from him.
The monster was enveloped in surging blue lightning, which illuminated its eyes and body. The monster let out a deafening shriek before charging back at the criminals, who were still trapped in the truck.
Fear and terror were etched on the criminals' faces as they stretched their hands out of the window, hoping to escape the wrath of the monster.
However, the Xynoin was relentless and showed no mercy as it continued its assault on the truck, causing the ground to shake violently.
The leader, who was now on his feet, realized that there was no way to save his men. With a heavy heart, he turned around and started running in the opposite direction, hoping to escape the monster's wrath
