Legend Eleven
A game of maids
Or
(We're broke, so we got roped into this weird fetish game, but I'm cool with it)
And just like that a week had passed since the liberation of Morhed. The party had gotten their fill of rest, relaxation, and rewards as the heroes of the city. Their new friends showered them with just about anything they wanted, food, a bath, and free gym memberships, but tragically the party still lacked what they had been since so early in their journey. Money.
Even still they said their goodbyes and set out back on their quest, their stomachs full, their bodies clean, and no richer than before. While trekking through the woods it was easy enough to hunt and forge for what they needed, but little did they know, their financial issues would soon become a greater problem.
The party did their best to stay close to the road as they moved north, stopping only to gather what they needed, until eventually they arrived in the port city of Slickdock.
Barric paused just before they entered the city, the rest of the party pausing as well. He sat his pack down and sat on it.
"What's up Barric? Why'd we stop?" Layla asked, voicing what the others were wondering as well.
Barric sighed.
"This is the city of Slick dock, it's the final stop before the broken isles. For those of you who haven't traveled Siriuhs, there is a chain of islands that separate the southernmost point of Siriuhs from the rest of it. Basically, we need a boat, but we have no money," the King explained, looking distraught.
"I'm afraid all of us are going to have to sell our bodies to raise the money."
Layla sighed.
"Yea, I don't think we have to do all that," the elf commented.
"I have no interest in laying with any other than my Master," Hana said.
"We could just go to the quest board and look for some jobs!" Quinn suggested.
"And then what? It would take far too long for us to save money with just our labor to buy an entire boat. Though I thought it was odd there were no waygates this far south. Even I had to take a ship through the broken isles to get to your Kingdom, but I was just hitting the big Kingdoms," Sylas said.
"What's a waygate?" Quinn asked.
Both the demons smirked smugly at the cat.
"Not very traveled are you?" Sylas commented.
"Well no! That's why I asked," Quinn snapped back, annoyed.
Layla put her finger up, excited to answer.
"They are magical gates that instantly teleport you over far distances. Big cities usually have a bunch of them that lead to other large cities, but like Sylas said, there are none that lead south of the broken isles. I'm not sure why," the elf explained.
"Well!" Barric began. "It doesn't really matter since we can't skip even a single town. We have to spread the good word of sexual discovery to every demon we come across!" Barric stood, striking a pose.
"That's right Master! We will all be liberated!" Hana cheered.
Sylas smirked.
"I guess we will."
Barric retrieved his pack from the ground and faced the city.
"No reason to keep sitting here. We're going to have to do this the old fashioned way!"
"How's that?" Layla asked.
"With a little bit of good luck and charm, hopefully something useful is on the quest board!" Barric said, traveling forward once again.
The party finally entered Slickdock and went straight to the quest board.
As they scanned over it their disappointment only grew.
It was a pathetic collection of scrap pieces of paper with all sorts of mundane things written all over them. Most of it was useless nonsense, complaints about a rogue wall pisser, a rant about how local factory waste was changing the sexuality of the frogs, an ad for a roleplay group, scribblings of a conspiracy theory about a creature that lived in the harbor, and a complaint from a man who had been sold some bad copper.
Other than the useless things, were a few odd job listings that wouldn't add up to any substantial amount of money, just as Sylas had predicted. Though, in the very bottom right corner of the board was a flier that stood out from the rest. It was a black paper with golden lettering and edges.
It read:
"Come join us at the seaside manor for a game of maids.
Come as a pair of maid and master.
The winners will receive gold a plenty and the deed to the manor."
There was then a date at the bottom.
"Look at this one!" Barric said, slamming his finger on it. The others quickly read over it, eye widening.
"Wait, what's today's date?" Quinn asked.
"Excuse me," a woman's voice said to the huddled group, almost making them jump.
The whole party turned around to see… nothing?
"Down here!" the voice said.
Everyone looked down at once to discover the owner of the voice.
It was a small goblin woman in a classic black and white maid's dress.
"Sorry to bother you all, but I have to take down a notice," she said, stepping past the party to pluck the black and golden flier from the board.
"Sorry, but do you have today's date? Did we miss the uh, event?" Barric asked.
"Nope! It's today actually, will you be joining us? We could use some more couples, not too many sighed up." the goblin said.
Barric turned back to the rest of the party with a big smile. Layla sighed, already knowing this was going to be a whole thing.
"YES! We will be joining!" Hana replied before anyone else could say anything.
The goblin smiled wide, showing off her big mouth of little fangs.
"Perfect! If you're all ready now, you can follow me back to the manor," she offered.
"I guess we are!" Barric said, looking over his shoulder at the rest of the party.
Hana grinned from ear to ear with barely contained excitement, while Sylas seemed skeptical at best. Quinn's interest was peaked as her tail slowly drifted back and forth behind her. Layla was the only one that seemed opposed or at least not looking forward to the idea.
"I think we are! Please lead the way!" Barric said.
"Then follow me please!" the goblin said, turning away from them to begin their little walk.
It was a short enough trip through the city even by foot. The city of Slickdock itself was nothing fancy, in fact it was rather normal and quiet compared to some of the places the party had been to thus far. It seemed like a simple place someone could retire and live out their days by the sea.
Eventually they made it to the huge seaside manor, admiring it as they approached.
The manor itself was all white with gray roofing. It was asymmetrical with a round tower on the left side. The entire thing was impressively clean, and the vast waters of the harbor could be seen behind it.
The little goblin maid led them right up the front brick porch and paused at the double doors. She grasped the heavy brass door knocker and tapped it hard a few times in a certain rhythm.
"And now we wait just a moment," she said, as the party stood there in silent wonder.
In sync clicking noises could be heard from both of the doors as they were unlocked at the exact same time. Both of them came open to reveal what was beyond.
Lined up near the right door were five maids and lined up near the left were only four. The goblin stepped in past the party and lined up on the left to make a total of ten, each of them unique, but all standing tall with pride and wearing classic black and white dresses. There was a blue slime, two elf twins, a human, a kobold, a dog demi, a bear demi, a centaur, a naga, and of course the goblin who had led the party here.
"Welcome to our home!"
they all said in unison, with an array of different voices, such of them curtsying.
A smile came across Barric, Akaihana, and Quinn's face immediately, while Layla still seemed skeptical, though she did admire all the women in perfect dresses. Surprisingly Sylas was grinning.
"Finally, some respect… and I like these colors," he commented to mostly himself and whoever over heard.
Beyond the lined up maids was the foyer to the manor. It was a huge room with black and white checkerboard marble floor and chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling. Even this single room was big enough to hold events or even a ball, but there was more to the manor. At the other end of the foyer were two sets of twisting with a gap between them. The stairs led up and met at a single platform that combined them into a larger set which led even higher to upper hallways that were exposed to the foyer. Straight across the top of the steps were a set of double doors, while between the gap in sets on the ground floor also led to another set of doors.
The walls were clad with so many framed photos, some depicting long gone family members while others held the memories of events long passed, held in the manor foyer itself.
The manor's initial beauty and scale rivaled that of any castle Barric had ever been in.
The party entered the manor slowly. Once they were fully inside, the two maids closest to the doors, the elf twins, moved to close and lock them behind them. The goblin broke off from the rest and stood in front of the party once again.
"Please follow me to the library. The Master is keeping the other entertained for now," she said, turning and shuffling along.
No one in the party questioned it and just followed along as they were asked, admiring the manor as they were led up the left staircase.
"So, what are our maid master teams gonna be?" Barric asked out loud.
Hana reached out and grasped the side of the King's face, hugging him close as they walked. Though she was the perfect height that when she pulled his face close, it went straight into her massive cleavage.
"That should be obvious!" she assured him. "I will be your maid master, what the others do, doesn't matter to me!"
Barric did his best to push away and unbury his face from between Hana's huge red chest.
"Well of course, but it seems we have an odd number of people and my sister looks a bit unenthusiastic," he pointed out.
"Yea… I'm fine with sitting this one out honestly," Layla emitted.
"Oh! So does that mean you're gonna be my Master, Sylas?" Quinn asked.
The demon glanced at the cat girl and pondered in silence for a moment.
"I guess it would improve our chances of winning… I will agree, but only if I get to pick out your style of dress."
"Oh! Ok…" Quinn agreed, blushing and then clinging to Sylas' arm.
"And here we are," the goblin said, pushing open the double doors to the library and continuing on. The group followed still, but admired the room in awe just as they had done the foyer.
This was no quaint private library, it was a huge open room with no wall to be seen that wasn't hidden with a shelf containing books. The shelves went up for about ten feet, equipped with sliding ladders. If the ladder was taken all the way up it led to another level where even more shelves sat. The middle of the room was wide open and broken up with little reading areas composed of two couches, a coffee table in the middle, and side tables with lamps on them.
There were a few people sitting at the furthest reading area and another pair standing by a nearby shelf. All the way at the very end of the room the wooden floor turned into a few steps that led to a raised area. On this area was white grand piano with a man sitting behind it and playing quietly. Behind him was a massive window, at least twenty feet tall.
The man played a pretty tune with a hint of sadness, longing, and a touch of hope. He looked up and paused as the goblin and the party drew close enough.
"Momo, have you found more players for us?" he asked, in a worn and experienced voice, his face hidden by the raised top of the grand piano.
"I have indeed Master!" she replied, gesturing at the party.
"And who will be joining us now?" he asked, standing up before stepping around the piano to lean against it.
He was an older man in clearly great shape. His hair was pure white and long, his bangs pulled back into a small pony tail that laid on the cascade of the rest of his hair. He wore black shoes, slacks, and a white button up with the sleeves rolled up.
"Well-" Barric began, but was soon cut off by Akaihana.
"This is King Barric Ironstorm! And I am his Maid, General Akaihana. We have come to prove ourselves in your little game. The cat girl and the skinny demon will be playing as well I guess," she informed him.
Quinn giggled while Sylas narrowed his eyes at the larger demon's comment.
"Good good, and the lovely elf?" the older man asked.
Layla blushed.
"Thank you, but I uh-"
"Don't play dumb with me Mistress! I saw you! I saw how you were looking at her!" a woman yelled.
The library fell silent and all eyes turned to the source of the disturbance, the pair who were standing by the shelves.
One was a human woman with rose red hair done up in a long braid that was wrapped in a neat circle around the back of her head while some was still free to let her bangs frame her face. She had grass green eyes similarly to the older man, except she also had a black vest with a green pocket square that matched her eyes.
The other was a huge woman, nearly the same size as Akaihana. Barric would have mistaken her for a demon because of her size and the fact that there were two thick black horns coming right from her forehead, but she also had a thick red scaled tail drooping out from under her black and white maid's dress. She also had red hair, but hers was more blood red, and it was quite long and thick, cascading down behind her, nearly to her rear. She had glistening red eyes that were currently locked on her Mistress as the other woman tried her best to calm her.
"Jaycie, I was simply trying to observe our opponents, it's ok," the human woman assured her in a calm tone.
"I saw you eyeing that other dragon maid! Am I not enough for you?" Jaycie the dragon maid asked, still yelling.
"Jaycie, you are plenty, but please stop yelling," her Mistress assured her once more.
The party looked about the room quickly to try and spot the other dragon maid she was talking about. Sure enough, sitting on the couch was another dragon woman in full maid's uniform except her uniform had details of green. The dragon woman herself was far smaller than the red one, with a green tail draped over the back of the couch, green eyes, green hair, and different style horns. The green dragon woman looked around the room for a moment as if in search of whoever Jaycie was talking about, before finally pointing to herself and looking to her own Mistress.
"Wait, me?"
"Yes darling, you," her Mistress assured her, patting her on the head, causing her to blush. She sat right next to her on the couch and had looked up from the book she was reading.
The green dragon's Mistress was a smaller woman with onyx black hair done up in two buns behind her head. She wore a green and gold qipao dress and peered past her maid to see who was doing all the shouting.
"Hmm, Sounds like someone is jealous to me," she commented with a slight grin, catching Jaycie's gaze.
The red dragon huffed and a bit of smoke came out of her nose at the other Mistress' comment.
"What's that!? You got something to say to me?" she snarled.
"Jaycie! You can not keep acting like this when there are other maids around!"
The room fell silent once again except for the audible gritting of Jaycie's teeth as she looked down at her own Mistress.
"You know what LUCILLE, I'm not playing this little game. And I'll not submit to being your maid any longer! I am a dragon! A proud one, unlike some! You're on your own!" Jaycee finished, turning right around akwary fast walking out of the library.
Her now ex mistress Lucille sighed. She turned to the master of the house, her face almost as red as her hair.
"Master Rauly, I apologize for her behavior and thank you for your hospitality. Though, I'm afraid I can't play the game any longer without a maid," she laughed awkwardly. The master of the manor went speak, but before he could begin, another voice rang out.
"I'll play with you!" Layla said. The whole party looked at her, everyone equally surprised.
"I mean… I'll be your maid, if it means you still get to play," Layla clarified, blushing.
Lucille stared at her in confusion at first, but after the elf corrected herself, she couldn't help but to smile.
"Really? What's your name sweet elf?" Lucille asked.
Everyone else in the library stayed silent and watched the moment unfold.
"Layla…"
"Well Layla, I'm Lucille, but you can call me Lucy, or Mistress if you like. Do you mean what you say? Will you be my maid for this little game?" she asked.
Layla nodded.
"I will… and I'm not the jealous type! Or at least not like your dragon."
"How honest of you, though she is no longer my dragon. But if you want to be my elf and maid, then I'll not deny you," Lucy told her.
Layla stood in silence, her face only growing redder.
"Well then! How perfect," Master Rauly began. "If no one else wants to switch or quit, then It's time to explain our game."
