Everyone perked up at this, all eyes on the Master of the house.
"Skippy wake up!" One of the other Masters sitting on one of the reading couches whispered. He was a simple young human man with black hair, dressed in a full suit. He gently shook a small mouse demi human girl awake. She sat up, still looking half asleep as she looked towards her master, mouth agape, showing off her oversized two front teeth.
"Huh? What's going on Master?" she asked. Unlike Quinn, she was only a half demi. Her small body was like that of a human, but she retained the large round ears, teeth, and tail of a mouse. Her hair was gray and her long fleshy tail was wrapped around her Masters waist. She wore a more goth style maid's attire. A white button down shirt with some frills at the chest and a black suspender skirt hung loosely from her.
"He is about to explain the rules," her Master explained.
The last pair remained silent as they directed their attention to the Master of the manor.
They were a wolf man and rabbit girl demi humans. The wolf was tall, covered with all black fur though his age was apparent as there were a few gray hairs around his muzzle. His eyes were bright moon yellow and he was dressed similarly to the other Masters, black slacks and a white button down with the sleeves rolled up.
Perched on his lap like a perfect doll was the rabbit. Her fur and cascading hair was pure white like a fresh layer of snow across a full moon. Her eyes were like a stroke of purple from an old water color set across a brand new canvas. Her dress was a traditional classic with a few extra touches. It was black with white frills at the hem, complete with a white apron with frills at every edge, secured by white frilly suspenders. The black of the long sleeves was broken up by white cuffs with more frills of course.
The personal touches were an assortment of bows all over. A massive white one sat at the back of her waist just above her rear, another thin and droopy one around her collar and a huge black one right on top of her head. The entire dress was puffed out by an ensemble of white petticoats and her long legs bloomed out, sitting comfortable on her Master's lap. She had no need for stockings as the pure white of her legs served well enough. Her mile long legs ended in custom made shoes for her wider demi human rabbit foot. The shoes were black leather with wedge heels and a single buckle across the top with white frills around the edges. Another strap went up the bunny's ankle and the little buckle on the outside was hidden by black bows.
"This should be interesting," the wolf said to his rabbit, in a low voice.
She smiled, barely stirring as she laid on him.
"Mmm, entertaining enough," she commented.
"Now I'm sure you're all wondering why I brought you here to indulge in this game," Master Rauly began.
Everyone in the library was silent finally, all watching the Master of the house.
"The truth is, I'm leaving soon. Not dying to be clear, but literally leaving. I'm going on a sort of personal quest and I'm not sure if I'll ever be returning to this manor. Since I won't be needing it or my entire fortune on my trip I've decided that someone else could use it. But the person who could afford it might not be the person who necessarily deserves it. So I thought about it for a while and I decided to hold this competition.
I want to turn this manor and most of my fortune over to the next generation of Master gentlemen or Mistresses. So to make it fair you will all be competing, and obviously the winner will get all of this. It's pretty simple. We will play a few games to see who is the best Master or Mistress of course, and maid duo. While the game is being conducted, you may stay in the manor and live as Masters and maids.
So, sounds easy enough right? Any questions?" Master Rauly asked.
"Yes," the wolf spoke up. "What do these games entail?" he asked.
"Well I don't want to give anything away, but they should all be things a capable Master and maid should be able to do. And I can assure you they will be fun!" he grinned.
"I see," the wolf said, returning his grin, but a bit slyer.
"Any more questions?" Master Rauly asked.
To Barric's surprise, Akaihana stepped forward.
"What if we don't have a maid's dress?" she asked.
"Good question," Rauly pointed. "If you don't have the proper Master or maid clothes, then we will provide you with some. We happen to have two maids in the manor that are expert tailors and can put together something for you in a single day."
Hana's face lit up at this and she turned to Barric with a smile he had yet to see on the massive demon's face.
"Any more questions?" Rauly asked again.
The room was silent.
"Sounds good to me, in that case, we will use the rest of the day to prepare, and everyone will be summoned for dinner later. In the meantime, you may pick any of the empty guest rooms to stay in and explore the manor as you like, just please be polite. Anyone who needs clothes just come talk to me. And well, that's pretty much it. We begin tomorrow," Master Rauly finished.
"HELL YEA!" Akaihana cheered.
Everyone else looked a bit surprised at the outburst, but Rauly just laughed.
"It's always good to see young people with high spirits," he said, laughing still.
