He thought about summing the Fae queen for help, but right now, the best option was to hold down the fort in the mortal realm and protect what he could hear. He trusts Alessia and bets that this is what she wants.
He walks around outside, ensuring everything is secured at the fort. Selene has been marking her territory, guaranteeing no other wolves or anything attacks. There aren't any soldiers around, so this is the only way they can at least keep some monsters at bay.
As Gabriel surveys the perimeter, something catches his eye. He squints in the direction of the forest and sees a faint glow in the distance. It's not natural; that much he is sure of. He decides to investigate.
