Zeus' brow furrowed as he carefully studied Zagreus, his expression one of surprise at the request. He cleared his throat, running a hand through his thick hair before speaking. "My dear Zagreus, I cannot grant your wish. I am the king of the gods," he said in a voice that held authority.
"And I am your nephew, next in line for the throne. You must prove your loyalty if you want to fight by my side. Bow down to me, Zeus," Zagreus repeats, his voice unwavering.
Zeus hesitates for a moment, then slowly lowers himself to one knee. "I pledge my loyalty to you, Zagreus, and to Alessia. I will fight by your side and protect your queen and child," he says, his eyes fixed on the ground.
Zagreus nods, satisfied, and sheaths his sword. "Good. Now, let's gather the other gods and goddesses. We have a war to win."
Zagreus watched as Zeus stood up, towering above him like an ancient oak and casting a shadow of power over the area.
