Higuchi's hand shook as he placed it on Akito's shoulder, his voice trembling with nervousness. He looked around frantically as if expecting danger to jump out at any moment.
"Quick, Akito! we need to get to the break room. It's not safe to wander around here anymore. The office is about to become a warzone," Higuchi urged, his eyes filled with dread and fear.
Akito could feel his own heart racing in his chest. The seriousness of the situation was not lost on him. He nodded silently, his gaze fixed on Higuchi.
"B-but... Higuchi-" Akito was trying to respond to Higuchi's statement when he noticed a sudden change in his colleague's expression. His eyes widened as he turned around and saw Yuzu, approaching him with a grin on her face. Akito's heart sank as he realized who she was.
"S-Shit... It's her!" Higuchi exclaimed, running towards the break room where the other janitors had taken shelter.
Akito was left standing in the lobby with the other armed employees, who were gearing up for a brawl.
As Yuzu came closer her eyes looked dangerous, she was like a Predator hunting her Prey
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the interesting newbie," Yuzu said with a wicked grin, blocking Akito's path.
"You thought you could escape me, didn't you? But I always get what I want in the end."
Akito tried to stay calm, "listen Yuzu, we can just talk this out.. right?" he slowly backed away as he responded, scanning the area for a possible escape route, but to no avail.
"Talk this out? pfft, this is a brawl you know?" Yuzu chuckled as she continued to approach him,
"in a brawl, there is only violence. there is no such thing as peace in a brawl," Yuzu looked at him deep in the eyes, a sadistic grin slowly forming on her lips.
Sang-Hyun stood atop the balcony, his gaze fixed on the employees below who were scurrying around like ants. He wore a smirk on his lips, amused by the chaos he had instigated.
His eyes flickered toward his secretary, Yoo-Mi, who had approached him, her eyes widening in disbelief at the sight.
"It's quite a good view, isn't it, Yoo-Mi?" Sang-Hyun spoke with a hint of malice in his voice, his eyes glinting with sadistic pleasure.
Yoo-Mi took a tentative step forward, her eyes scanning the chaos below. She could see the employees scrambling, grabbing anything they could find as weapons. The air was thick with the sounds of yelling, breaking, and frantic screams.
"Good view? This is madness!" Yoo-Mi exclaimed, her voice trembling with fear.
Sang-Hyun chuckled at her reaction, finding it amusing. He leaned in closer to her, his breath against her ear.
"Madness, indeed. But this is what it takes to succeed in this business. To be ruthless, to be cunning, and to be willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead," Sang-Hyun whispered, his voice laced with a dangerous edge.
As he spoke, Sang-Hyun's eyes wandered back to the chaos below. He pulled out a stopwatch and clicked the button. The sound of the buzzer echoed throughout the building, signaling the start of the brawl.
Akito and Yuzu's eyes locked onto Sang-Hyun, and the air charged with tension as the other employees erupted into a violent brawl.
The sound of flesh hitting flesh echoed through the room as they wielded whatever makeshift weapons they could find.
Akito's eyes flicked back to Yuzu just in time to see her rush toward him with deadly intent. His heart racing, he tried to dodge her attack, but she was too fast.
With a ferocious yell, she leaped into the air, twisting her body and unleashing a devastating Flying Side Kick aimed straight at his head.
At that moment, everything seemed to slow down for Akito. His mind raced as he tried to anticipate the blow, but he knew that any misstep could mean the end for him.
With a burst of adrenaline, he managed to dodge just in time, narrowly avoiding Yuzu's powerful kick.
Yuzu descended with a lightning speed that made Akito's eyes widen in surprise. He had barely processed her movement when she landed gracefully on her feet. Her little body moved with a fluidity that he had never seen before.
"She is really fast," Akito thought to himself, trying to keep up with her movements. But Yuzu was a blur, her punches coming at him so fast that he could barely dodge them. He tried to predict her next move, but she was too quick for him.
Yuzu's fists were a blur, and Akito could barely keep up. But then, in a sudden twist of movement, she turned it into a feint.
Akito fell for it, and before he could react, she kicked him hard in the knees. Pain exploded through his body, and he fell to the ground with a loud thud.
His vision was blurry, and his ears were ringing. He shook his head, trying to clear the cobwebs, just in time to see Yuzu raise her leg up high in the air. Akito's eyes widened in horror as he recognized the deadly move.
"Shit... An Axe Kick!" he thought to himself. He had to move fast. With every ounce of strength, he could muster, Akito rolled to the side, just barely avoiding the crushing blow of Yuzu's heel.
As she landed with a thud, Akito seized the opportunity to strike back. He lunged at Yuzu and swept her off her feet, sending her tumbling to the ground. With a quick roll, he regained his footing and backed away, giving himself some space to breathe.
Yuzu groaned in pain as she slowly pushed herself up, trying to regain her balance.
As Akito stood there, trying to assess Yuzu's fighting style, a sudden commotion caught his attention. A group of employees, shouting at the top of their lungs, charged toward him, weapons in hand. Akito quickly got into his fighting stance, ready to defend himself against the onslaught.
The first employee came at him with a club, swinging it with all his might. Akito managed to duck just in time, avoiding the deadly blow. Without missing a beat,
"That's one," he mumbled under his breath, he turned around and looked at the others who were charging at him.
Akito quickly sidestepped the second employee, who had lunged and swung a bat at him. He counters it with a knee kick to the gut, sending the second one to an unconscious state.
"two," he added,
As the third employee came charging toward him, Akito saw an opening and quickly disarmed him, using the weapon to his advantage. He then followed it up with a bone-crushing chest blow that sent the employee reeling in pain.
"I need to save my stamina as much as possible," Akito thought to himself as he readied his fighting stance at the last one.
As the last employee closed in, Akito landed a powerful roundhouse kick, sending him flying across the room. The impact was so strong that the employee crashed into the wall, leaving a visible dent in the plaster.
Akito stood there for a moment, catching his breath and taking in the aftermath of the fight.
The employees lay scattered across the room, groaning in pain. It was a close call, but Akito had come out on top.
The scene was chaotic and frenzied, with workers of all shapes and sizes battling each other for the chance at a coveted promotion or bonus.
Knuckles cracked against jaws and ribs, while sharp elbows jabbed into soft stomachs. Some brawlers used their surroundings to their advantage, grabbing nearby chairs or potted plants to use as weapons.
Akito's mind snapped back to reality, and he immediately recognized who was before him. His eyes locked on Yuzu, who was unleashing a full-blown assault on the employees who had dared to lay their hands on her. The sounds of fists hitting flesh and bones cracking filled the air, sending chills down Akito's spine
The sight was both terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. Yuzu moved with incredible speed and precision, taking down the attackers one by one.
As the last of the attackers fell to the ground, defeated, Yuzu turned to Akito once more, her grin widening. The atmosphere was electric, charged with an energy that Akito had never felt before.
