CHAPTER 13
The chaotic scene in the office didn't show any signs of calming down. It was like watching a pack of wolves fighting for survival.
Employees clashed against each other, throwing punches, and kicks, and using any object they could get their hands on as weapons.
Blood and sweat were everywhere, mixing with the dust and debris in the air. The janitors had taken refuge in the break room, trying to shield themselves from the madness that had taken over the workplace.
Amidst the chaos stood Yuzu and Akito, two determined employees who refused to back down.
Akito's eyes shone with determination, his stance steady as he prepared himself for the second round. Yuzu stretched her body, cracking her knuckles, and flashing a wicked grin.
"Round 2? All right then!" Akito said with a smile on his face.
"I'm ready when you are," Yuzu responded, a fire burning in her eyes. She clenched her fists, ready to take on Akito in a brawl like no other.
The two stood in silence, their eyes locked in a deadly stare-down. The tension was palpable, and the only sound that could be heard was the distant sound of the brawl raging on in the background.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Yuzu and Akito lunged at each other with ferocity.
The sound of fists and feet colliding echoed throughout the room as Yuzu and Akito engaged in a brutal Taekwondo battle. Their movements were fast, fluid, and precise. They were both equally matched, neither willing to back down.
The other employees watched in awe and terror as the two fighters unleashed their fury. Yuzu's kicks were as sharp as a knife, while Akito's punches were like a hammer. They were both unforgiving, relentless, and fearless.
Yuzu struck first, her body moving like lightning as she launched a powerful roundhouse kick at Akito's head. Akito dodged just in time, his body swaying gracefully to the side as Yuzu's kick missed its mark.
Without missing a beat, Akito retaliated with a quick jab, followed by a swift kick aimed at Yuzu's midsection. Yuzu blocked the jab with ease, but the kick caught her off guard, knocking the wind out of her.
Yuzu's breaths came out in short gasps as she backed away from Akito's attacks. Despite her fighting spirit, she couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at Akito's skills. She had never faced an opponent with such strength and speed before.
As Akito lunged forward with a sweep kick, Yuzu leaped backward into a backflip, landing gracefully on her feet. She spun around to face Akito again, a fierce look in her eyes.
"Not bad, newbie," Yuzu muttered under her breath, a small smile playing on her lips. "But don't get too cocky."
Akito didn't respond, his eyes focused on Yuzu's movements as he prepared for his next attack. The two of them circled each other, waiting for an opening.
The sounds of their feet hitting the ground echoed throughout the room as they continued their intense battle.
Akito was not to be outdone, however, and he met Yuzu's attacks with equal ferocity. The two of them were like a blur, moving so quickly that it was almost impossible to keep track of their movements.
The other employees watched in awe as the two tigers clashed, their fighting style mesmerizing to watch. It was a battle of skill, strength, and sheer determination, and no one knew who would come out on top.
"Is this what a Taekwondo match looks like?" one of the employees asked in disbelief.
Another team member responded, "No way, this is on a whole other level. They're like two machines fighting each other."
The fighting grew more intense as Yuzu and Akito continued to exchange blows. Their faces were drenched in sweat and their breathing was heavy. It was clear that neither of them was going to give up anytime soon.
The air in the room grew thick as soon as Sang-Hyun walked in. The employees immediately stopped in their tracks, some dropping their weapons and backing away.
His presence was intimidating, and everyone knew that he was not to be messed with.
One of the employees couldn't help but yell out, "oh shit, he is here!" All eyes turned to where he was pointing, and sure enough, Sang-Hyun was walking down the halls with his hands behind his back.
Sang-Hyun's eyes were fixed on the brawl that was taking place in front of him, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. He watched as Yuzu and Akito exchanged kicks and dodged each other's attacks with impressive agility.
"Well then, this is interesting," he said, his voice dripping with amusement. He cracked his fingers and stretched his lips into a smirk. "Mind if I join in?"
The chaos of the brawl seemed to halt for a moment as Yuzu and Akito's attention turned towards Sang-Hyun.
The CEO stood tall, his eyes fixed on the two fighters. It was as if his mere presence commanded respect and attention.
Suddenly, an employee tried to sneak up behind Sang-Hyun with a pipe, ready to strike. Without turning, Hyun swiftly grabbed the pipe behind his back with lightning-fast reflexes. His grip was vice-like, and the employee struggled in vain to free himself.
"You dare?" Sang-Hyun's voice was like a venomous snake, his eyes flashing dangerously. The employee's heart raced as he met Sang-Hyun's piercing gaze.
In a flash, Sang-Hyun released his grip and delivered a swift crescent kick to the employee's head.
The employee crumpled to the ground, knocked out cold. The sound of the impact echoed throughout the warehouse, causing some of the nearby fighters to freeze in shock.
Sang-Hyun stood there for a moment, his eyes scanning the area for any other potential threats. his arms crossed over his chest. The faint smile on his lips hinted at a challenge he was about to issue.
"Well then, how about you both work together.. to beat me? I shall reward the both of you if you beat me." His tone was light, but his eyes gleamed with confidence.
Yuzu narrowed her eyes, suspicious of Sang-Hyun's intentions. "Such as?" she demanded.
Akito shifted his weight from one foot to another, his fists clenched tight. "We won't go easy on you," he warned, his eyes never leaving Sang-Hyun's.
Sang-Hyun's expression turned serious. "Maybe I'll put you to the Pit, the both of you." The Pit was a notorious underground arena where employees fought to the death for the amusement of the company's elite.
"But don't worry," he added with a smirk. "I'll make sure to reward the winner."
The air around them grew tense as the three of them stared at each other. Yuzu and Akito exchanged a brief look, silently communicating their plan of attack.
