Chapter 17 - YOUNG ADULT 17

Three years had passed since Qing Eena began his journey as a Rank G Hunter. In that time, he had accomplished many feats that earned him the nickname "Rank Solo Hunter." Qing's expertise in Spacetime magic allowed him to navigate the dangerous dungeons and defeat monsters that other hunters could not handle.

Currently, Qing was assisting in a Dungeon Flood off the coast of Pasay City. The mission was a difficult one, and almost all of the assembled hunters were members of big or small Guild groups. But Qing was determined to take on the task as a solo hunter.

As he approached the dungeon, he could see the damage the flood had caused. The once-beautiful coastal town was now in shambles, with debris and wreckage strewn everywhere. The water level had risen so much that the entrance to the dungeon was now completely submerged.

Qing put on his scuba gear and took a deep breath before diving into the water. As he descended, he saw the damage that the flood had done to the underwater ecosystem. Dead fish floated everywhere, and the coral reefs were damaged beyond repair.

But Qing was not there to admire the view. He had a job to do. His mission was to find and neutralize the source of the flood, which was located deep inside the dungeon.

As he swam through the dungeon, he encountered mutated monsters that had adapted to the flood. The Venom Jellies he had encountered before had now grown larger and more aggressive. But Qing's skills as a solo hunter, combined with his Spacetime magic, made quick work of them.

As he approached the source of the flood, he saw a massive water elemental, unlike any he had ever seen before. The elemental had grown larger and more powerful due to the increased water levels, and it was wreaking havoc on the dungeon.

Qing knew he had to act fast. He used his Spacetime magic to create a portal behind the elemental and attacked it from behind. With his magic and his trusty sword, he was able to defeat the elemental and stop the flood.

As he emerged from the dungeon, he was greeted by the other hunters who had worked tirelessly to save the town from the disaster. They congratulated him on his success and marveled at his skills as a solo hunter.

Qing humbly accepted their praise and thanked them for their help. He knew that without their assistance, he would not have been able to complete his mission.

As he walked away from the crowd, Qing realized that he had come a long way since his days as a Grand Archmage and a god of Spacetime. He was now a respected member of the Hunter Association, and he had made many friends along the way.

But he also knew that there were many more challenges ahead. As a solo hunter, he would face many dangers and obstacles that others could not even imagine. But he was ready for whatever came his way, knowing that his Spacetime magic and his skills as a hunter would see him through.

And so, the journey of Qing Eena as a Rank Solo Hunter continued, with many more adventures and challenges waiting to be conquered.

Lucio and Karla were excitedly discussing the small surprise birthday party they planned for Qing as they prepared the decorations in the living room. Uncle Tito was on his way to buy some party favors and alcohol for the occasion.

"I can't believe our little boy is already 18," Karla said as she hung the "Happy Birthday" banner. "Time flies so fast."

"I know, right?" Lucio replied, placing balloons on the corners of the room. "It seems like just yesterday he was starting his journey as a Hunter."

"I remember when he used to go to the dungeon with his dad," Karla said with a smile. "He was so eager to learn and improve his skills."

Uncle Tito arrived with bags of chips, soda, and bottles of beer. "Hey, guys!" he said, entering the living room. "Got the goods for the birthday boy!"

Lucio and Karla greeted him with hugs and thanked him for the effort. "We're so glad you can make it, Tito," Karla said, taking the bags from him.

They continued to decorate and prepare the food while waiting for Qing to arrive. As they set up the table, they heard the doorbell ring. Karla rushed to open the door, and there was Qing, looking tired but happy to be home.

"Surprise!" Lucio, Karla, and Tito shouted, throwing confetti and popping balloons.

Qing was taken aback but happy to see the effort his family made for him. "Wow, thanks, guys!" he said, smiling. "I didn't expect this."

"We just want to make your 18th birthday memorable," Karla said, hugging her son. "You're finally an adult now."

They sat down to eat, and Uncle Tito poured Qing a glass of beer. "Here you go, young man," he said, handing him the bottle. "It's your first legal drink."

Qing laughed and took a sip, savoring the taste. "Not bad," he said, smiling. "Thanks, Uncle Tito."

They continued to eat and drink, reminiscing about the past and talking about the future. Qing shared some stories about his recent dungeon dives, and his family listened with interest.

After the party, Qing thanked his family for the surprise and the effort they made for him. "I'll never forget this," he said, hugging his parents and uncle.

As he went to bed, he couldn't help but feel grateful for his family's love and support. He knew that no matter where his journey as a Hunter takes him, he will always have his family by his side.

Qing Eena had been tasked by the Hunter Association to train a group of 4th Level Hunter School trainees in a Rank G Dungeon, the Goblin Jungle. This was a crucial final exam for Qing, as he needed to pass in order to advance into a Rank F Hunter. He was determined to do well and to help the trainees prepare for their own upcoming Rank G exams.

As he entered the Goblin Jungle, he surveyed the area and saw that there were many goblins around, scurrying about and looking for trouble. He knew that this was a dangerous place, but he was confident in his abilities as a former Grand Archmage and god of Spacetime.

He gathered the trainees and began to teach them how to properly navigate the dungeon, how to use their weapons effectively, and how to work together as a team. The trainees were young and inexperienced, but they were eager to learn and improve.

Qing spent long hours training the trainees, watching as they practiced their combat skills against the goblins. He gave them feedback and encouraged them to continue pushing themselves, knowing that they would need to be at their best for their upcoming exams.

As the days went on, the trainees began to show marked improvement. They moved more fluidly, worked better as a team, and began to take down the goblins with more ease. Qing felt proud of their progress and knew that they would be ready for their exams.

Finally, the day arrived for the trainees to take their Rank G exams. Qing watched as they entered the dungeon, feeling a sense of excitement and pride for his role in their training. He knew that they were well-prepared and that they would be successful.

After the trainees had completed their exams, Qing received a message from the Hunter Association congratulating him on his successful training of the trainees. He was thrilled to hear that he had passed his final exam and was now officially a Rank F Hunter.

With a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, Qing set his sights on the next challenge that awaited him. He was eager to continue his journey as a Hunter, facing new and greater challenges as he worked his way up the ranks.

---

Qing Eena stood in front of his parents and Uncle Tito, beaming with pride as he informed them that he had finally become a Rank F Hunter. Karla, his mother, had a worried expression on her face as she listened to her son's achievement.

"Rank F Hunter, huh?" Lucio, Qing's father, said with a grin. "That's impressive, son. I knew you had it in you."

Uncle Tito, who had been sitting quietly in the corner, suddenly spoke up. "But what about that nickname of yours, Rank Solo Hunter? What's that all about?"

Qing chuckled. "It's just a nickname, Uncle. I prefer to work alone, but that doesn't mean I'm reckless or anything. I always put my safety first."

Karla spoke up, still worried. "But you're not invincible, Qing. You could get hurt, or worse."

Qing put his hand on his mother's shoulder. "Mom, I know the risks. But being a hunter is what I want to do. And I promise, I won't take unnecessary risks."

Uncle Tito gave Qing a hard slap on the shoulder, causing him to wince. "You better not, young man. We don't want to lose you."

Qing rubbed his shoulder and laughed. "Don't worry, Uncle. I value my life too much to do anything stupid."

Lucio put his arm around his son's shoulders. "We're proud of you, son. Keep up the good work."

Qing smiled at his family, feeling grateful for their support. "Thanks, Dad. I couldn't have done it without your support."

As the night went on, the family celebrated Qing's achievement with a simple but joyful dinner. Uncle Tito regaled them with stories from his own hunter days, and Karla even allowed Qing to have a beer to celebrate his accomplishment.

Qing felt content as he sat with his family, enjoying their company and feeling proud of his achievement. He knew that there were still many challenges ahead, but he was ready to face them head-on, with the support of his family behind him.

---

Qing Eena sat in his room, deep in thought. He couldn't help but worry about his aging parents, who were getting more and more dependent on him every day. With his Uncle Tito often busy with his own pursuits, Qing felt like he was the only one left to care for his parents.

He knew he needed to find a solution, and fast. His parents deserved to live out their golden years in comfort and peace, without having to worry about mundane tasks like cleaning and cooking. And Qing knew that he couldn't do it all by himself.

That's when an idea struck him. He could create a homunculus, a small artificial being, to help out around the house. But he needed someone with scientific knowledge to help him create it. And who better than another version of himself?

Using his Spacetime Power, Qing began scanning for other versions of himself across different dimensions. He knew it was a risky move, but he was willing to take the chance if it meant giving his parents the help they needed.

As he delved deeper into the alternate realities, Qing couldn't help but marvel at the infinite possibilities. In one dimension, he was a renowned scientist working on groundbreaking technology. In another, he was a ruthless dictator ruling over a vast empire. But none of them seemed quite right.

Then he stumbled upon a version of himself that had the scientific knowledge he needed. This version of Qing was a brilliant engineer, with a keen interest in robotics and artificial intelligence. Qing felt a spark of excitement in his chest as he realized that this might be the solution he was looking for.

But there was a problem. This version of Qing was already living a full life in his own dimension. How could Qing convince him to come and help out in this reality?

Qing knew that he needed to think carefully about how to approach this. He didn't want to disrupt the delicate balance of the multiverse, or cause any harm to his alternate selves. But he also knew that he couldn't just sit back and watch his parents struggle.

As he pondered this, Qing's mind was filled with doubts and fears. What if he made a mistake? What if he accidentally caused a catastrophe in another dimension? But he knew that he couldn't let his fears hold him back.

With a deep breath, Qing steeled himself and began to formulate a plan. He would contact this alternate version of himself and explain the situation. He would be honest and straightforward, and hope that his counterpart would be willing to help.

Qing knew that it was a long shot, but he was determined to try. For the sake of his parents, he would do whatever it takes to make their lives easier. And who knows? Maybe this could be the start of a new adventure, a journey through the multiverse that would change everything.
