Chapter 22 - BUSINESS EXPANSION 22

Qing Eena had always been a bit on the shorter side, not quite as tall as his peers. But now, after setting up the hidden dimension inside the wooden shack out back, he could feel his body changing. He could sense the mana coursing through him, ten times the amount that he had ever been exposed to before.

At first, he didn't notice any changes. But as the days went by, he began to feel different. He stood up a little straighter, and his shoulders broadened. His muscles began to grow, slim and powerful. He could feel his abs becoming more defined, and his legs and feet taking on a new, more athletic shape.

But it wasn't just his body that was changing. His face was becoming more mature, more handsome. There was still an innocence to his features, but it was tempered by a newfound confidence. Women who saw him couldn't help but look twice, taking in the changes that were happening before their eyes.

Qing himself was somewhat surprised by the changes. He had always been a bit self-conscious about his appearance, especially compared to some of the other Hunters he knew. But now, he felt more comfortable in his own skin, more powerful and confident.

He spent a lot of time in the hidden dimension, practicing and experimenting with his newfound powers. He could feel the magic coursing through him, and it was exhilarating. He wanted to see just how far he could push himself, how much he could grow.

But as he spent more and more time in the hidden dimension, he began to notice something else. His thoughts were becoming clearer, his mind sharper. He was able to focus more easily, and his memory seemed to be improving. It was as if the mana was not only changing his body, but his mind as well.

Qing was excited by these changes, but he also knew that he had to be careful. He didn't want to become too powerful too quickly, or draw too much attention to himself. He had secrets that he couldn't share with anyone, not even his parents or his uncle.

So he continued to train in secret, honing his powers and his skills. He knew that he was becoming something different, something greater than he had ever imagined. And he couldn't wait to see where this new path would take him.

Qing Eena was tasked by the Hunter Association to oversee the new entrants for the "Paid Hunter System." He was both nervous and excited about this new responsibility. This was his chance to prove himself and show his skills as a Hunter.

Qing arrived at the Hunter Association building early in the morning. He was greeted by the receptionist who gave him a list of the new entrants. There were ten of them, all eager to become Hunters.

He headed to the training area where he was met by the ten hopefuls. Qing assessed them from a distance, noticing their different body types and weapons. Some carried swords, others used guns, and a few used their fists.

Qing walked up to the group and introduced himself, "Hello, my name is Qing Eena. I will be your assessor for today. We will be testing your combat skills in practical situations. I hope you are ready."

The new entrants nodded, showing they were ready and eager to prove themselves.

Qing set up various combat scenarios, testing their agility, speed, accuracy, and strategic thinking. He was impressed by some of their skills, but he also noticed weaknesses in their techniques.

As the day wore on, Qing became increasingly exhausted. The practical combat tests were taking their toll on him. His mana was being depleted, but he pushed through, determined to complete the task at hand.

One of the new entrants, a young woman with a bow and arrow, caught Qing's attention. She was quick, precise, and her arrows never missed their target. Qing approached her after the tests were completed.

"Your name is?" Qing asked, impressed.

"Zara," the young woman replied, a smile on her face.

"Zara, you have great potential as a Hunter. You were the most impressive of the group. Keep training, and I'm sure you'll become a great Hunter in no time," Qing said, patting her on the back.

Zara blushed and thanked Qing for his words of encouragement.

As Qing left the building, he felt a sense of accomplishment. He had completed his task successfully, and he had found one new entrant who showed great promise.

But there was still a lot of work to be done. He had to assess the other new entrants and continue to hone his skills as a Hunter.

---

Fau and Frye were two of Qing Eena's homunculus "siblings" that he had created through using his Spacetime Powers, by visiting other dimensions on how to create one. They were artificial lifeforms that shared a bond with their creator and obeyed his every command. However, they also had their own personalities and quirks, which made them unique.

One day, while working at the Eena Fish Stall, Fau and Frye were confronted by a group of troublemakers. These men were likely hired by a competitor to harass the stall and drive away customers. At first, Fau and Frye tried to ignore the men and continue with their work. However, when the thugs started to damage and touch the fish products with their dirty hands, the two homunculi could not keep their cool any longer.

Frye was the first to act, using his superhuman speed and agility to dodge the attackers' blows and strike back with lightning-fast punches and kicks. Fau, on the other hand, relied on his immense strength and durability, taking on multiple attackers at once and smashing them into submission. The two homunculi worked together seamlessly, using their unique abilities to overcome their opponents with ease.

As the fight escalated, more and more people gathered around to watch the spectacle. Some were cheering on the homunculi, impressed by their strength and skill, while others were horrified by the violence. The police were eventually called, and Frye and Fau were brought to the station for questioning.

Qing Eena received a frantic call from his parents, who had been informed of the incident by the police. He rushed to the station, worried about his "siblings" and what trouble they might have caused. When he arrived, he was relieved to see that Frye and Fau were unharmed, but he was also furious at the thugs who had attacked them.

"I can't believe this is happening," Qing said, shaking his head in disbelief. "Why would anyone be so foolish as to pick a fight with my siblings?"

"They were probably hired by someone," Fau said, flexing his muscles. "But they should have known better than to mess with us."

Qing sighed. "I know, but we can't just go around beating up people who annoy us. It's not the right way to handle things."

"I'm sorry, Master," Frye said, bowing his head. "I let my emotions get the best of me."

"It's not your fault, Frye," Qing said, placing a hand on the homunculus' shoulder. "I should have taught you better self-control. We'll work on that."

The conversation continued for a while longer, with Qing scolding his "siblings" for their behavior but also praising them for their bravery and loyalty. He made a mental note to be more careful in the future and to keep a closer eye on Fau and Frye, who could be impulsive and hot-headed at times.

As they left the police station, Qing felt a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that his "siblings" were safe and that they had proved their worth in a fight. However, he also knew that there were dangers lurking around every corner, and that he needed to be vigilant if he wanted to protect those he cared about.

---

Qing Eena had always been fascinated with the idea of having his own secret dimension, and when he finally discovered that it was possible, he wasted no time in creating his own. He had set up his hidden dimension inside the wooden shack at his parents' backyard, and with the help of his vast amounts of mana, he began to create his own little paradise.

Now, the dimensional space was overflowing with all types of plants, trees, animals, and bees. The space was like a giant room with no ceiling, just a vast whiteness everywhere, except for the brown colored soil against the all-white background. Qing's pet project of raising plants, fruit trees, and animals was now bearing fruit, quite literally. The thick mana encouraged the growth of all kinds of things, and the fruits, vegetables, and eggs that the five "siblings" were unloading from Tito's truck were all harvested from Qing's hidden dimension.

Qing's parents were astounded as to where he got all the produce. "It's amazing," his mother exclaimed, as she sorted through the crates of fruits and vegetables. "Where did you get all of this?"

Qing just smiled and said that he had a "supplier friend" that provided him with these products at a much lower price. He diverted his parents' attention, telling them that this could be a great way for them to earn more money with no downside.

Only the five "siblings" knew about Qing's god-like powers, as they were the ones taking care of the plants and animals whenever Qing's parents left for work. They were amazed by the growth rate of the plants and how healthy the animals looked. They often joked that they were living in their own little Eden, and they knew that Qing was responsible for it all.

Fau and Frye, the two "siblings" that were tasked with taking care of the chickens, were particularly amazed. "I've never seen such healthy chickens before," Fau said, as he stroked one of the birds. "These are the best eggs I've ever tasted."

Qing smiled, knowing that his secret was safe with them. He had made sure to teach them how to take care of the plants and animals properly, and they had all become quite good at it. He knew that they could be trusted to keep his secret safe from his parents and Uncle Tito.

But Qing's hidden dimension was not just about plants and animals. There were also strange and magical creatures that he had brought back from his adventures as a Hunter. He had managed to tame some of them and brought them back to his hidden dimension, where they now roamed free.

One of these creatures was a small dragon that he had named Scales. Scales was small enough to fit in the palm of his hand, but he was fierce and loyal. He had found Scales during one of his hunts, injured and alone, and had taken him back to his hidden dimension to nurse him back to health.

Scales had grown strong and powerful under Qing's care, and he now roamed freely around the hidden dimension. He was a sight to behold, with his shimmering scales and sharp teeth, but he was also friendly and playful.

Qing's hidden dimension was a place of wonder and amazement, and he was glad that he had made it. He knew that he had a great responsibility to take care of it and to keep it a secret from the world. But he was also excited about the possibilities that it presented. Who knew what else he could grow in his hidden dimension? What other magical creatures could he bring back and turn into tamed and loyal pets?

Only time would tell.

As he watched his "siblings" unload the crates of fruits and vegetables, Qing smiled to himself. He was glad that he had created this secret space and that his plants and animals were flourishing. It was his way of contributing to his family's income, while also exploring his newfound powers.

Fau noticed Qing's grin and asked, "What's got you so happy, Brother?"

Qing turned to Fau and said, "Just happy to see that our hard work is paying off. These fruits and vegetables are going to make our parents a lot of money."

Frye chimed in, "Yeah, and it's all thanks to your 'supplier friend', right?"

Qing nodded, "Right. Let's just keep this between us, okay? Our parents don't need to know about this secret space."

Fau and Frye both agreed, but Fau had a question, "Hey, do you think we can plant some medicinal herbs here too? I mean, if the mana is this thick, I'm sure they'll grow even better than in the regular world."

Qing thought about it for a moment and said, "Yeah, that's a great idea. Let's do it."

As they continued unloading the crates, Qing couldn't help but feel proud of his "siblings". They were a motley crew, but they had become like family to him. They all came from different backgrounds and had different dreams and aspirations, but they all shared a common bond - they were all under Qing's care and protection.

Suddenly, Uncle Tito's voice broke his reverie, "Hey, what's going on here? Why are you guys unloading all these crates?"

Qing turned around and saw his uncle standing behind him, looking confused.

Frye quickly stepped in, "Oh, we're just helping out with the family business, Tito. These are fresh fruits and vegetables that we're going to sell at the Eena Fish Stall."

Uncle Tito raised an eyebrow, "Really? Where did you get them?"

Qing quickly interjected, "Oh, we have a supplier friend who gave us a good deal. We thought it would be a good way to make some extra money for the family."

Uncle Tito nodded, but Qing could tell he wasn't fully convinced. He knew he had to be careful with his uncle, who was always suspicious of anything that seemed too good to be true.

As they finished unloading the crates, Qing told his "siblings" to start sorting and pricing the fruits and vegetables. He needed to go back to the wooden shack and tend to his plants and animals. He also wanted to experiment with planting some medicinal herbs, as Fau had suggested.

As he walked towards the shack, he couldn't help but think about how much his life had changed in such a short amount of time. From a rank F hunter struggling to make ends meet, to a young man with god-like powers and a secret space that was overflowing with life. He wondered what other surprises lay in store for him, and he couldn't wait to find out.
